The Important Meeting

Hailey’s POV

“... and so, this will also help in the security along with the main system. The FBI, CIA, and the NSA will know everything even before they will!” I completed my presentation.

Ervin Hunter has been staring at me the whole time. I mean, it was irritating, but still, by god’s mercy, I did the work correctly. It was an important meeting and I really didn’t want to ruin it with my stupid mistakes.

As I completed it, I expected Robert to say something, but he didn’t.

“Hm. Good plan, I must say. What do you have to say?” The old man, whose name… I don’t remember, said, to Ervin.

“Excellent plan. I must add my ideas tomorrow” he said and got up.

“I’ll get going now. Nice working with you” he said, particularly looking at me.

“Y-Yes” I replied and he smiled. Then he left with his dad and we were left in the place.

I looked at Robert, whose mood was suddenly not good. “How was my presentation?” I asked, expecting him to smile or be happy.
