Two smugglers, hoping to pass unseen, ride in a boat through supposed 'cursed' waters. To pass the time Bo, a seasoned smuggler among other things tells the legend of a creature that lives in the lake, a humanoid creature with the fangs of a lion, the gills of a fish, the wings of an eagle, the poison of an Valudutti frog. Duchess Elisia has set off with an escort to make amends with the past. Normally a quiet road, suddenly her carriage is brought to a standstill and a soldier informs her that someone blocks the road, asking for her by name. Someone, not normal...
Lady of the Lake, follows Duchess Elisia, through her set of trials and tribulations. Action-packed with slow tender moments of reflection, and perhaps even a bit of romance and drama. It's my first published project, even though I've been writing and reading for a while now. I will try to publish a chapter once a week, and would love to hear what you think in the reviews. Don't be fooled by the prologue, this is not a 'country' story.
It’s definitely a captivating story that will leave many readers in awe and wonder. I love how the story develops with each new chapter, I love how the characters are very relatable, and I love how the background of this story’s world reflects on how much the characters will grow. Overall, I think it’s really good!
Okay first of all the synopsis is actually truly amazing. It would definitely spark the interest of any viewer. Even the cover is awesome. I read the prologue and your writing style is dare I say ... perfect. I didnt spot any mistakes. I love how you stick to the way the characters talk, it placed me right into the whole sailors/country side vibe. The descriptions are awesome and just as a whole I can already tell that this is well written. Both characters seem interesting, I like how Bo's character (limited patience and that he gets bored easily) is portrayed. Sorry for spamming you. I highly recommend this book. The amazing description alone makes me love this story. The plot is very good. And the dialogues have me making voices in my head... hehe Please Author, update more, I want to know what happens next.

Minor grammar mistakes at the worst. The overall writing style is good. And the story progresses to the tale well and quickly. I'm curious as to what role the two smugglers will play in the actual story.
I think this story is really amazing it has everything in it, I really enjoyed reading is. It's hard to find books that interest me but this one is just an exception. I'm hoping on reading more fantastic chapters.
It's a very nice book.The characters are very gracefully described,my favorite character is the duchess so far...I like her air of grace, she's strong in a lady like kinda way.Anyway the plot was well thought of and the prologue alone leaves you wondering what happens next I'll give it a 10 out of 10.The writing quality is very unique and understandable.Keep up the good work

I need to give this work a pre review before my actual review. I can tell that this novel, and its author, will be succesful. Just from the synopsis and the prologue, it is easy to admit that you are a prolific and superb writer. I mean, the synopsis, so eerie and fantastical, does nothing BUT draw the reader in for more. The dialect and vivid descriptions in just the prologue make me feel like I have teleported to the era of smugglers and paranormal folklore. I commend your writing and have already added to library. Intriguing read so far. The flow is good, pacing as well, nothing is being rushed ahead. However I may need to see more before I can give a fully fledged review. You got a good foundation author, but I'd like to see more from this story. Keep doing what you're doing.
