That night, Wang Yong climbed over the fence and entered his parents' house and stayed on the porch until dawn. He was accompanied by his friends who mimicked the sounds of wolfs howling in the midnight.
The noise woke up the people staying in the house but they were too scared to go out, fearing that wolfs had broken into their compound. So as soon as it was dawn, they opened the door to see three boys lying on the floor of their porch.
Fan Qiuyue narrowed her eyes in fury as she stood in her robe glaring at them before she yelled at them. "What are you lost dogs doing on my property? How dare you, get out of here!"
Bai Du's eyes turned as red as the colour in his hair when he turned to Fu Pei in disbelief. "Did she just call me a dog?"
Fu Pei held his hand and warned him. "Control yourself."
Wang Yong watched her insult them with an amused look in the background when another boy came into the scene, his eyes widening as he recognized him. The boy quickly ran to meet Fan Qiuyue restraining her. "Mother, stop it. Why are you behaving so rudely to Elder Brother?"
Fan Qiuyue froze, making her take a step back as she scrutinized the boy that was quietly watching her. "That boy is Wang Yong?"
"In the flesh, Qiuyue." Wang Yong walked forward, his black T-shirt and trousers highlighting his sexy and masculine appearance with his messy black hair.
Fan Qiuyue who was taken aback by her son's beauty immediately frowned. "You rude brat, what are you doing here?"
The unknown boy who stood beside her stepped forward to greet Wang Yong. "Greetings, Eldest Brother."
Wang Yong looked at the boy who looked and behaved like an angel with his blond hair and white pajamas. He reminded him a little of Mingli but at the same time made him want to skin him flesh by flesh making his death very painful.
Very, very painful.
"So you are still here, Bohai." Wang Yong smiled when he saw the boy squirm under his intense gaze. His mother who was watching the interaction shifted to shield him.
Bai Du who was initially fuming suddenly laughed as he remembered something. "Oh, you must be that adopted puppy they picked from the streets...."
"How dare you!" Fan Qiuyue raged when she saw the boy lower his head in unhappiness.
"Isn't he not my adopted brother?" Wang Yong asked her, seeing her nod in agreement.
"And you called your biological son a lost dog..." Fu Pei interjected.
Bohai's face saddened further when he realized what they were going to say.
".....so that its not offensive to call both of us lost dogs since we are brothers, right brother?" Wang Yong smiled to the irritation of his mother.
"Shut up! Get out of my house!" She yelled, trying to shut the door on their faces when Wang Yong blocked her attempt with his foot.
"Not so fast, Qiuyue. We need to talk." He pushed the fingers forward, increasing the space until he successfully opened the door letting his friends enter into the house.
The boys entered the house to see the lavish and expensive decorations, astonished by how most of them were practically glittering. Only Wang Yong remained unfazed as he walked inside dropping his schoolbag when sat down on a grey fur lined sofa.
Fan Qiuyue was about to explode when Bohai calmed her down and guided her to sit by whispering in her ear. "Don't get angry, Mother. He is still your own biological son, what right do you have to drive him out of the house?"
She sat down and asked him after suppressing her rage. "What do you want?"
"I want money." Wang Yong stretched his legs on the crystal glass table in front of him.
She scoffed, her eyes narrowing in disdain. "How much do you want?"
"50 million yuan."
She stood up as she looked at him in incredulity. "Are you serious? I am not giving you even 100 yuan!"
"Grandma Fan is dying." Wang Yong saw her freeze she heard him talk.
"What?"
"She has cancer. I need to move her out of the country to get efficient treatment." He explained.
"Why can't she be treated in the country, I am sure there are skilled doctors who can take care of her." She said.
"Is it really too much for you to give your own mother the best treatment she needs for her illness?" Wang Yong became annoyed with her sudden thriftiness.
Fan Qiuyue defended herself and accused him instead. "You are just taking advantage of the situation to try and collect money from us, aren't you? Well, forget it!"
"Enough!" Bai Due stood up in indignation. "We won't be here asking you for anything if his Godfa-"
"Shut up!" Fu Pei silenced him, seeing their ears perk up in interest.
"Elder Brother, what are they talking about?" Bohai asked curiously.
"Mind your own business, dipshit." Wang Ying retorted.
"Don't talk to your younger brother that way, you stinking brat! Mind your manners!" Fan Qiuyue rebuked him, coming to the defense of her second son.
"Are you giving me the money or not?" Wang Yong changed the topic immediately he spotted Mingli looking at his mother with a sad and disappointing gaze.
"No, I am not! I have had it with your unruly behaviour this early morning! First, you snuck into my house like a thief, insulted your brother and now, you are here making up excuses just to extort money from me like a rascal!" She pointed her finger at him.
"But she is your mother!" Fu Pei was dumbfounded by her ruthlessness and apathy over her mother's possible death.
"I don't care! Don't forget, I told the both of you, that from the moment she took you away and left my house, you people are no longer a part of this family." She walked to the door to open it. "Now leave."
"You cold hearted witch, I'll-"
"Forget it, Bai Du. Let's go. "Wang Yong picked up his things and walked to the door, standing face to face with his mother. "Mark my words, Fan Qiuyue. You will remember this day for the rest of your life. Just in a bad way."
