Day 21-24 Murder? and waiting for things to pop off

Ye Xinghe was exhausted even after waking up after getting back. His body constantly moving from the change. He was taller and his complexion looked better. The good news, he didn't become to fair-skinned. The sun was bright enough to help tan his skin quickly. Given a few more days. Defintely need to fix that.

The noise outside made it impossible to get another few winks in of sleep really. Freshening up, he moved outside to see what was going on. Completely forgetting about what should be happening at the camp time-wise right now. After all, it didn't really affect him.

A few students and the traitor teacher were gathered around a hole. An Xueyun pulled Ye Xinghe over to see in a rush. Whispering a few things to him as they moved. The main character halo was strong with them two.

The student Lin Hong oddly enough was nowhere to be seen at this time. Which was considering memory served, he was nearby during the events that take place.

A student near teacher Chu could be heard despite speaking lowly.

"We already sent people to notify the Headmaster, he should be arriving this afternoon." A student said quickly. Hoping this would make the situation a little better.

"This is a serious matter, it's vital that we find the "Murderer," otherwise it will be difficult to locate the perpetrator!" Teacher Chu said. Trying to be righteous but a small wince gave away something else. 'To think he gave me such trouble last night, but the wound should heal fast enough to prevent any other trouble. The plan must not fail!'

The blow from Liang Jian had caused serious damage. His organs burnt in a few places. With out proper medical attention, he would not survive the next few days.

He turned seeing Ye Xinghe looking somewhat haggard. Not knowing it was from the excursion he took a few hours ago. Thinking if they thought one of the Commoners was the perpetrator, it was best to give some assurances.

"Ye Xinghe, you can rest assured, we'll find who is responsible." Teacher Chu explained what happened. "Liang Jian was attacked and killed last night." Unfortunately, the man was stupid.

"I do not doubt it." Ye Xinghe retorted. He yawned as he was a little sleepy. Snapping to a little later, he made sure to not let go a certain way. They were not strong enough to deal with the members of the Eternal heavenly Family just yet. "It is good the body was taken away, who knows what people will think."

"Do not worry about Liang Jian, we will deal with the problem." Liang Yu voiced. A few thinking his words were cold but held their tongue back. the Dark moon Family members frowning but they knew Liang Jian was ok. "He had to many enemies, where is Lin Hong by the way? It is weird he is not here."

A few students started whispering wondering where he could be.

"It can not end like this." A lackey muttered. The twisted look on his face unnerved a few people close to him. "No way brother Lin Hong was involved."

"Hmm?" An Xueyun looked to the student lackey and had a bad feeling. Xia Yuning moved up to her side having come to see the commotion. 'The body was removed before anyone got a chance to see it, how odd.'

"Aren't you.." The lackey was about to give a rebuttal but Xia Yuning gave him a look to shut his mouth. He turned quiet and thought of other ways to save his life.

Before it could become more troublesome, teacher Chu spoke up.

"Liang Jian most likely was killed in a demonic beast attack!" He was covering his tracks seeing as Liang Yu looked to have taken the body. The Dark moon Family would investigate and would be able to tell something was involved. Best to sow the idea in their young minds now. Before it was to late anyway. "Do your best to not move alone for now."

"Ah, so a dangerous beast was here!" The rebel lackey jumped on the fastest method to help keep Lin Hong safe. "No way did big brother Lin Hong do this!" Staring hatefully at Liang Yu, he only saw a smile.

"This is quite serious, for all I know we could all be in danger!" Another student said fearfully. As discussions broke out, the student that made the announcement before had returned with news.

Old Xu and the other teachers who investigated were already on the other side in the Smelting Trial. Keeping distance to find proof of whoever did this. One of them already detecting the bridge was cut thought it odd.

"Hum?" Teacher Chu Xian turned to the student. Already mindful of what he would report back. Since the plan was for Lin Hong to do it during the night. "How come you're back this soon? Did you speak with the headmaster on the way?"

"No... no good!" The student said out of breath. A lot of the students were out of shape despite being martial artists. Having spent more time using qi for everything instead of their actual body strength. He leaned in and whispered what happened. "and..."

"What!?" Teacher Chu said in a shout. He lifted the student up into the air furious. It was all an act that fooled the students present easily enough. Only Xia Yuning had a flash of doubt. "So the walkway is.."

"Yes, it's been ruined!" The student grabbed the arm to relieve some of the pressure. Slightly scared the teacher might injure him by mistake. "Let.. me.. go!" Liang Yu hit the teacher's arm, freeing the student from the hold easily.

"Sorry, I got a bit excitied!" Teacher Chu Xian rubbed his arm but didn't look sorry at all. He turned to the students looking slightly troubled. "What a mess, things have gotten a little serious. The protection of the students is now the most important matter!"

"Yeah, protection from you, damn psycho." Liang Yu gestured for the student to get up and away from the teacher. Which sounded good to him. "Best to stay away from this nutjob."

"We should find another way out of here!" Another student said fearfully.

"Maybe if we get everyone together and build a makeshift bridge someone can hurry up and get help?" Another student said. They all started throwing out ideas and getting rowdier.

"Enough!" Teacher Chu Xian needed to get control of the situation. "Altogether, we have six teachers, so each teacher will be responsible for 5-6 students. Organize into teams yourself!" He let that sink in which went against the idea of keeping everyone safe really. "Our priority is to ensure the students' safety!"

The Dark Moon people decided to stick together. No reason to split up. Plus, Liang Yu ordered them to for show. Which sold it to other people easily.

Ye Xinghe, Xia Yuning, An Xueyun, Lin Hong, the rebel lackey, and Mo Yu went in his tent. Zhao Ning and her servant Linlin were with the Dark Moon people. Having received the resources from Ye Xinghe via her helped. They sat down to cultivate to prepare for the fight later.

"Xinghe, who do you think did it?" Lin Hong asked. Informed about the situation not to long ago. "To be accused of this is not that great of a thing for me."

"Most likely a beast of a creature, one wouldn't think a man did this. I mean, Liang Jian was young like us." Flipping through a book, he cultivated the Heart Method. Allowing his emotions to remain contained. "Even took the body way with the drag marks at the hole."

"Seems weird." An Xueyun speculated. Her hands between her thighs a little anxious. "Why ruin the walkway after all this time? The Demon beasts must be mad at all of us in their territory."

"Which mean the school will take time to investigate." Xia Yuning muttered. "All the evidence is most likely gone. Odd that teacher Chu.."

"What if the killer strikes again? If the beast strikes again?" The rebel lackey cut her off. Receiving a glare for doing so.

"Haa, it has been a stressful morning. We couldn't even go and hunt." Mo Yu didn't like the tense atmosphere. "We should trust everything will be ok and cultivate."

"I am with her." Ye Xinghe was not wanting to waste breath on the situation. "I am gonna do that to settle my nerves."

Xia Yuning thought him to be a coward but An Xueyun understood it was best to be quiet about the matter. Lin Hong is grateful for it as well. Not saying much of anything.

"If that little bird of yours ok?" Mo Yu asked. The moment she mentioned it, Techlis popped out of his Xinghe's robes. "Oh, there it is. Such a pretty color. Little crystal of ice come it when it breathes."

The ice melted in the air causing little disturbance. Unable to determine the power of the Demon Beast, they were curious.

"How strong is he?" Xia Yuning asked.

"Why would I tell you that?" Xinghe frowned. Pulling a piece of meat out, he fed the Demon Beast. "If you start blaming him for the attack, I might have to get rude." Protective of the demon beast, he wouldn't let anything pop up in the princess's head.

"Eh, scared I would want to buy it?"

"Not for sale. Be mindful of that, little princess." Not liking her cheeky behavior that was about to start, he shut that down quickly. "I will fight you, best believe it."

"No need to get testy." Xia Yuning gave An Xueyun a frown. Thinking she told him about her. But by the look of her friend's face, that was most likely not the case. 'Well, that is definitely a personality shift from earlier. He knows when to pick his battles. But why show it for a demon beast but not the incident before?'

The North Guard's daughter was to troublesome for her own good. Xinghe would not straighten her out like last time. The oddest thought she might get herself killed somehow passed in his mind.

"Well, this is boring." Mo Yu said. The girl was wanting to complete the trial still but also understood it was dangerous. "Oh, how does it feel to be Star Martial artist?"

They looked at him oddly.

"You talk as if you have taken down a 6th Heavenly Layer before." Xia Yuning scoffed

"Sure, in another life." Xinghe chuckled amused. They wouldn't believe him if he said anything about his former life. "Mo Yu, tell me, what have you study for offense and defense yet."
