The knock on the door woke Emma up. She was wearing a white mini gown with a long sleeve. She answered with a 'come in' and a maid entered with a 'wheel' table.


On the table was a tray carrying milk and chocolate with vanilla cookies. The maid placed it on the bed and went out.


Emma sat up comfortably and feasted on the snacks brought before her. She smiled and she thought in her mind 'it tastes so sweet' as she ate more.


Meanwhile, in the dining, where Emma and Vera had both met Eric that morning, there were three other gentle men talking to Eric


" you mean Vera did that?" Callum asked. he was the talkative one. Jasper and Alex just watched Eric in a surprised but boring look.


Eric just stared at space and then he picked his fork and cut out of the meat served by the chef.


Jasper, Alex and Callum had been Eric's friends. They met during their father's meeting. Jasper and Alex were just like Eric. They were boring, breathtaking and has an expressionless face while Callum was the talkative one but yt he was also breathtaking.


"She's pretty and different and innocent" Eric said which made the trio stare at him in astonishment. Eric had never commented on a lady's beauty before but they knew he probably still doesn't like her.


"Vera told me she's a really good girl" he smirked and later laughed evily. "She knew I wanted a girl who wouldn't disturb me" he laughed in an evil way again and the trio just stared at him.


"Tell us what Vera said about the girl" Jasper finally said, sipping his wine.


Eric threw him a deadly stare and Jasper just kept his mouth shut but Callum shivered silently.


Finally, about what seemed like hours,Alex finally spoke "Williams is back in the country" allowing it to sink before finally saying "but with Lily"


Eric threw the glass cup on the wall with force, making the glass cup to shatter and stood up angrily and gave Alex a deadly glare but Alex looked unbothered, and Eric left the room.
