The Consequences of That Night

When Aeri woke up, she was dressing nothing but her earrings. She looked to her right and saw Seojin sleeping peacefully, holding her in his arms, and a smile instantly appeared on her gorgeous lips. Waking up in his arms was like her dream coming true.

But her dream was shattered when he sleeping-spoke seven words that hurt more than anything. "Kimsoo, I love you, don't leave me, babe..."

She was so shocked and hurt that she got out of her bed in the same instant, running to her bathroom and locking herself there. Aeri couldn't even believe how many tears she still had left.

"What did you expect, you silly and naive girl? Did you, for a second, thought that he ever felt anything towards you? How foolish of you, Woo Aeri. There isn't a place for you in that bastard's heart, as well as now there's nothing you haven't given to him. How could you be so fucking dumb?" She yelled to herself under the shower.

Her tears falling and mixing themselves with the water, going far away. After a while, she got off of the shower and dressed up in a navy blue cropped with black legging, a white pair of socks, and her also white crocs.

When she got out of the closet and got back to her room, Seojin was still sleeping. So, she headed to the kitchen and made breakfast because she was starving, and also made two cups of black and strong coffee. When she got back to her room with their breakfast, the coffees, and medicine to handle headaches, she found Seojin sitting on the bed with a sleeping face.

And within less than a minute, he managed to shatter her heart once again, for the third time, this being the second in one single day. "I'm sorry, but who are you and where are we? Did we have sex? And were you a virgin?"

The last part he said pointing to her bloody bed and her face turned red like her hair with embarrassment. "Yes, we had sex. Yes, it was my first time. And you really don't recognize me, Seojin?"

"I'm sorry, but no. I would remember if I had ever seen you in my life," he exclaimed looking at her from head to toe for the first time.

'Bastard' was the only word that came to her mind. "Don't talk bullshit, Seojin. It will only make everything worst. We've known each other since fucking kindergarten, damn it. I should have known better. Of course, you don't give a shit. But well, it doesn't matter anymore, I'm finally getting out of here in one week. And I think we both agree that it's better if you get out of here now. The exit is easy to find once you get out of my room."

He was shocked, but this time she didn't give a shit, she was hurt to an extent that she couldn't even begin to explain.

She took her car keys and run away from there, driving without a place to go, when she realized she was at the border of Seoul already. Aeri got out of the car and sit on top of it. Crying her ass off once again, she tried to call her parents and her sister but neither of them answered her.

She felt more lonely than ever, only wishing for the next week to come faster than a blink of her eyes, so she could go to America and never come back.

The week passed slowly like a hellish turtle and Aeri stayed at home, packing her things, and more than anything, isolating herself and trying to forget her biggest mistake. When the big day arrived, she couldn't even be happy, she was better than before at least.

She only wanted to forget Seojin and everything about him.

Jiah, her older sister, finally appeared to take her to the airport, she was going with her and was going to stay for five months, as their parents ordered. The particular plain was already ready and in less than one day she found herself at Harvard.

"THIS is a dream coming true!" She said to herself.

It was something she archived without her parent's help. Even if they're friends with the director of the university, they didn't do anything to help her. That's why it was something so important.

Thanks to her oldest brother, Mori, Jiah's older twin, being the heir of the Choi family, she had the freedom to choose what kind of university she wanted to do. So, she chose to study Film. And got accepted at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences after a big project on which she gave everything she had.

···

Two months passed since she settled herself in the university and in her new apartment which was thankfully close to Harvard. During that time, she started feeling kinda sick but didn't tell anything to Jiah because she thought it wasn't anything, so her sister wouldn't have to worry over anything. Another month passed and she started to worry about herself, but still didn't tell her sister anything.

Not long after that, Jiah started to be suspicious about the fact that Aeri was throwing up everything she ate, and she became wary of the situation when Aeri became pale, fainted in front of her, and hurt her ankle. She took her to the hospital and the doctor confirmed the pregnancy, also telling her that Aeri was already three months.

When she told Aeri the results, she started crying in desperation, knowing exactly who was the father and how did it happen. Their parents, Hyeon and Yun-hee came right when they discovered, they were pissed but also happy, they tried to make Aeri tell them who the father was, but she cried and said that he was dead for her and that she didn't want to talk about him ever again.

At first, she didn't want the kid, but her parents and Jiah convinced her to keep it, saying that no matter what the father did to Aeri, the kid was innocent. Mori was also happy with the news and worried about his little sister, but he couldn't make it to Harvard, because he was full of work to do back in Seoul.

After discovering about the whole situation, the director of the university told Aeri to stay quiet at home, taking care of herself and of the baby, and assured her that when she's ready, she would still have her rightful place at the university because he couldn't let such a talented girl getaway.

One more month passed by and she discovered that she was waiting for a boy, and when she heard his little heart beating, she realized that it was real, that she was going to have a baby boy. She also realizes how happy she truly was with her soon-to-be-born son.

After a lot of thinking, she announced to her family that she was going to name the baby Tae-young. It was a complicated and dangerous pregnancy, so she had to be extra careful, and her sister stayed by her side all the time.

No one in South Korea knew about her pregnancy, once she asked her family to keep it a secret. She was worried that Seojin would discover, once his father knew hers, and she didn't want that to happen, or things would get extra complicated.

When she was in the seventh month, she had a car accident and Tae-tae ended up being born sooner because of It, she gave birth to him literally on Christmas. He was premature, but thankfully healthy. The same couldn't be said for Aeri, who became sick after giving birth, but after three months at the hospital, she became healthy again.

Tae-tae almost didn't cry, he was, surprisingly, a quiet child, just like his father to Aeri's surprise. One year after that, he was already talking and almost walking, which was a big but welcome shock.

She contacted the director of Harvard, to know if she could already start studying, and he agreed but told her to take it easy. As time passed, she became certain that she gave birth to a little genius, but what worried her the most was the fact that he was becoming a clone of Seojin, but with red and wavy hair.

He was identical to Seojin when he was his age, and his golden eyes didn't help it at all, and Jiah, who lived with her and took care of Tae-tae when Aeri was studying, was the first one to notice.
