Meeting An Archon Again

At the current moment, I was walking around Liyue Harbor* with Havria. It was fun, walking around new places with your lover like this. Although, it would have been more fun if there weren't people giving us weird looks. I mean, I do look like the famed Traveler, but seriously?

"Haah… at least no one's taking any photos."

"Fufu, you should have been used to these things by now, shouldn't you?"

"I am used to it, but still, it would have been better if they didn't do this all the time…"

Well, there wasn't really any use in complaining. I sighed and we just continued on walking hand in hand. Havria took in the sights, saying it was much closer to what she saw back in her time. Although, it was still a lot foreign looking to her. It was honestly cute.

While we were walking, we saw a somewhat familiar face. He may not know me, but he may know Havria. He looked at us, and after a bit, I saw a small flash of gold on his hands. He was gathering Geo. I narrowed my eyes and started gathering Geo and Anemo as well. I wouldn't want to use Gluttony or Pride too much in this world.

"Hello, Morax*."

I was caught by surprise when Havria spoke up. I turned to her and saw that her eyes were glowing, signifying that she was using her Divine Gaze. I guess she saw how both me and Zhongli* we're preparing to launch attacks.

"Greetings, Havria." said Zhongli* as he stopped the elements that were gathering on his hand. I sighed and stopped mine as well. I looked at Havria and mouthed a thank you. I wouldn't want to fight here, much less fight with an Archon.

"It's a pleasure seeing you again, who might this person beside you be?" asked Zhongli*.

"This is my husband, Aether." Havria said in a loving tone. She smiled at me and I smiled back. She turned to Zhongli once more. "And as you can tell, he's a god as well. Although, he still doesn't have anything that he governs…"

That is true… Ah, I've got it. I'll just govern Gluttony and Pride. That is the rather logical option, considering the elements that I only have. And so, I interjected in their conversation.

"Gluttony and Pride."

"Hm? What was that, hun?" Havria asked as she tilted her head.

"I'm the God of Gluttony and Pride. Rather fitting, don't you think?"

"Fufu, it does so." Havria said, giggling. It was kinda silly after all. It sounded like I was a hungry and prideful god.

"Ehem." Zhongli* coughed.

"Ah, right. The name's Aether, or you probably already heard of me as Lumine's missing brother."

At that, his eyes widened. Unlike the others however, he was faster to calm down. Looking around, he told us that this isn't really a preferable place to talk. Oh, right… Now that he mentioned it, I can feel the gazes again.

"Where shall we head to then?" asked Havria.

"To visit some old friends. If you're going to stay here for a while, the Adepti must know who you are. Especially with you two being gods." explained Zhongli* as he started to lead the way.

We both followed him and when we were far from sight, he made three Geo Pillars. He snapped his fingers and the Geo Pillars opened.

'Huh, neat.'

He motioned for us to enter and we did so. When we all got in the Pillars, all three closed and I could feel us descending. After a few seconds, I feel us ascending this time. Just like an elevator. The Pillars opened once more and god was the sun so bright. I know living in the mountains was nice but dear lord is the sun hurting my eyes. Wait, why am I even facing the sun?!

"Argh! Why are we facing the sun?!" Havria complained. I feel you hun, what the hell.

The Pillars sunk back into the earth once we all exited them. I looked around and when I saw Cloud Retainer* near a table of three, I already knew which mountain we were on.

"My, what are you doing here, Rex?" said Cloud Retainer*. "Care for some tea?"

"Thank you. After that, could you please call the other Adepti here?" said Zhongli* as he took the seat with his name written on it. Cloud Retainer* looked at me and Havria, her eyes widening.

"The God of Salt!? How!?" she asked as she turned towards to Zhongli* once more.

"I'll just explain it," said Havria in a happy tone. She's really liking that she's doing all the talking huh. Not that I really mind it, I just hope she doesn't exhaust herself.

Havria then proceeded to explain how I revived her and made her one of my two wives. She also introduced me. I was questioned by both Zhongli* and Cloud Retainer* about who the other one was, but I just tried to shake off the question. It would be rather awkward if I told them I married Ganyu in our world. It would be especially be more surprising for Cloud Retainer*. With that in mind, I'd rather not say anything about it.

Seeing my reluctance, Havria spoke up, taking the attention of the two back to her. Havria explained that it would be rather problematic if I told it to them, so they just sighed and accepted it.

"One shall call the other Adepti, please wait here." Cloud Retainer* said as she flew off.

I made seats for me and Havria to sit on. We both sat down and rested my head on Havria's lap. No better pillow than your wife's lap. I don't really care about anything else at the current moment. Not to mention, I feel kinda tired. Not physically, but mentally. I think it's just hitting me now that I've finally seen Lumine again. I sighed as I closed my eyes, taking in Havria's warmth.

"Fufu~" Havria ran her hand through my hair and it was seriously comforting.

After that, I could faintly sense the Adepti approaching.

"They're here." Havria said.
