Chapter 35.2: Back to Where Everything Started Pt.II

I really don't understand why I need to say such things to Daisy earlier. Maybe it's because of what I am feeling. You may say that it's weird for me to let her be on her own, but for me, I think it's best for her to know what kind of danger the world really has. I mean, it may not look like it, but Daisy seemed to be happy as always. Everyday, I always see her smile, even in most part of her problems, aside from the part where Northern Dawn was connected to. So I came up with the conclusion that maybe, she is just naive to see things clearly.

And that made me regret it today. Because what I am facing through right now, may have a bad impact to me and myself. I think I needed her more than she does to me.

After going inside that door, I saw another one inside, and when I opened it, I saw a portal. At first, it seemed weird for a house to have that kind of thing, but then I remembered that the the old woman who we lived in with was an oracle, and is by chance having that sort of hidden places. Because of my curiousity, I went inside of it and when I was out, I was completely frozen in my place as I saw someone in front of me, killing the people whom I know.

It took a while for me to understand what was really happening, and when I was completely awake, I went near that person to try and stop her from doing something dreadful. Yes, it's a girl.

"What do you think your doing?! Stop that!" I held her hand to stop her, but she just looked at me and smiled evilly.

"Don't you think it's fun to see them like this?" Daisy said as she escapes from my grip and continued stabbing an unidentified person that she is sitting on to.

"Have you gone completely crazy?! What has gotten into you?!" I asked with a raised tone as I pull her away from the dead person, but she kept on resisting, making it hard for me to take her away. "Stop this madness, Daisy!" I said, but she just used the dagger she was holding to cut me in the wrist, making me scream in pain. Good thing she cut me in the outer part and not in the pulse part.

"Don't you dare stop me from what I am doing. I am just avenging our land from what they have done!" She said and looked at me with a deadly glare. That made me shiver. She doesn't look like the Daisy that I knew. The person standing in front of me is not her, but a psycho who has nothing to do than killing someone. "They killed my family, so I will kill them all. I will kill everyone who tries to ruin my life, and everyone who opposes me." She then continued. "So don't try to mess with me if you still want to live, because I will not spare anyone, even you." After hearing what she just said, she pushed me away, making me sit down with my eyes completely stuck on her. Then she started to turn her back on me, but I just stared quitely at her, unable to talk.

'Is she really her?'

Was all I could manage to think when I was a bit lighted up.

Well to be honest, it is true that she has an anger with whoever killed our families and friends, but this is just so not like her to kill someone for them. She is not the blood-for-a-blood, life-for-a-life type of person anyways.

Then it struck me. How I thought about the house, the door and the portal. It all came suddenly inside my mind back again like a sudden flash. Making me stand up and knit my brows.

I looked at Daisy again with a hinted stare as I see her continuously walking around the area. That's when I realized where I was at the moment. I was back at Northern Dawn with her again. But this time, she is the one who's killing and not the terrorists that I saw two weeks ago. So I tried my best to follow her, but it just made me feel dizzy after we spinned the plaza's fountain for like ten times already. And the most unbelievable part, was when I saw her with someone whom I really hated the most. The person that killed my parents.

"Look who we have here." He said with a grinning smile as they both look at me intently.

"I think i'm not yet contented about all this." Daisy said and looked around.

"What else do you want to do then?" The man asked as he look at Daisy with glimmering eyes. "Want me to silence this man in front of us?" He said and looked at me again, bloodlust in his eyes as he grin evilly at me.

"No, that's not what I want." Daisy said, making the other disappointed. "I want to slaughter all of them. Until we reign Dawn Empire." She said, and that made ma ask.

"Who are you?" I asked and they both looked at me. "You're not my friend. You're just an impostor. So please tell me where she is." Was all I could say. But then...

"HAHAHA!" They started to laugh non-stop and said. "Your unbelievable." It made me pissed, how they managed to laugh like that.

"Stop this foolishness and just tell me, you disgusting shits!" I almost yelled at them, making them serious.

"What did you call us?" The guy said and his face really went serious. "How dare you call the Prince of Dusk Empire a disgusting shit?" He said, and that made me surprised.

"You'll regret what you have said." Daisy said, and without even saying anything after. They attacked me, and all I could do was to block and escape their attacks.

'How could she have been right now? I hope she's fine, I hope nothing happened to her.'

I thought and also started to think of a way to counter them. I don't want to end up dying earlier than expected. Better be ready than steady. But before I could even know it. Daisy's punch already hit me in my stomach, making me cough and held my breath while flying away.
