Update of last chapter

Third Person's POV.

After Seth and Leah phased into their wolves, the three went off to Emily and Sam's "The Pack house" as Zoey calls it, and the whole Pack and their Imprint spent time laughing, joking around and playing soccer on First Beach.

Zoey doesn't know why yet but she is gaining feelings for each of them and she hopes she will find out soon, as she gazes at all of the people who cared deeply about her with a smile on her face...

Little does she know, there is a meaning to her connection with them and she is going to be finding out very soon...

Zoey was at the Swan's house in her room, after finishing a morning shift at the diner, doing a bit of studying for her online classes.

Charlie, as always was at work and Bella was currently locked in her room, doing god knows what, probably sulking. Since Jacob has been refusing to talk to her due to her actions and carelessness towards his Imprint.

Suddenly, a thump on Zoey's window startled her as she turned her head to the noise, it was Jacob standing there, he actually had a shirt on this time, his usual cut off shorts and sneakers, with his car keys in hand. "Jake. You scared me." Zoey stated holding her chest and letting out a sigh of relief, she stood up from her bed and walked over to give him a hug.

He put his arms around her waist and hugged back with a small smile on his face. "Sorry Zo." He pulled away from the hug and looked into her eyes with a serious expression. "Jacob. What's wrong?" She asked concerned at the look.

"I need you to come with me. Bella snuck off to see her boy toy that came back yesterday. He told me he also wants to talk to you for some reason." He sighed "I don't want to take you there.. but I have too, if it means you will be on good terms and safe if you come across one of them."

Zoey looked hesitant and asked Jacob "What about Sam? Does he know about this?" Jacob nodded "Yeah he does. We have a treaty with the family; and he wanted you to go so they know you aren't a threat, since you know their secret too."

The redhead nodded and told Jacob "Okay just let me get my shoes on." He smiled slightly and let her out on her usual black and white All-Star converse. She was wearing a plain black t-shirt, with some light blue skinny jeans, her usual birth ring, and had her face natural, with her hair up in a high Ponytail.

Jacob drove them in his car to the spot Edward told them to meet. He parked at the side of a random road and helped Zoey out of the car, holding her hand as he took her into the spot of the woods.

"Is this where he said to meet?" Jacob didn't respond as he was smelling the air for the stench of leech smell. He walked with Zoey into a trail between the trees and saw the pale Vampire standing with another Blonde vampire, who wasn't Rosalie.

Bella was standing in front of Edward with a frown on her face, wondering who the hell this is and why she was holding HER Edwards hand.

She turned around when she heard rustling of leaves and saw Jacob; she smiled at first then frowned again when she saw her, bitch of a best friend Zoey with him, gripping his hand and hiding behind him nervously and shyly.

Jacob just glanced at Bella seeing her step back slightly, and move in between them, facing both ways so it was easier to watch all of them. He glanced away and looked at Zoey who was still hiding behind him and gave her a reassuring smile.

She took a deep breath and stepped out from her spot. Edward glanced at the redhead and smiled to help calm her nerves. He didn't need Jasper to tell him how nervous and scared she was being there.

"Hello. You must be Zoey Stevens, I've heard so much about you." He greeted warmly, the redhead nodded and smiled back kindly "and You must be Edward Cullen, I heard a lot about you too." Edward sighed and glanced over at his blood singer and back to Zoey "Probably all bad things."

Zoey chuckled a bit and nodded apologetically "Unfortunately yeah, but if you are back for good maybe we can start fresh and have better impressions." Edward smiled and nodded he looked to his side where Tanya was holding his hand and smiling lovingly at him.

He smiled back at her and turned serious, he turned to Bella and said "Bella, look you aren't going to like this but I have some news." The Swan girl gulped as her eyes flickered between the vampires and the werewolf-human.

He looked into her eyes and regretfully stated "You aren't my True Mate.. I found out while I was in Alaska with the Denali coven, that Tanya here is my True Mate. You are only my Blood Singer." He explained gestering to the beautiful blonde vampire beside him, who was smiling warmly at Zoey to help calm her down, since she was still very nervous.

Bella looked shocked at the news, "W-what? W-what is that s-supposed to mean?" She stuttered out, her face doing her usual twitching when she is talking. Edward looked into Bella's eyes again,

"It means Bella, that I only thirsted for your blood. Every Vampire has a True Mate and a blood singer, some only find their Mates and others only have blood singers. It's rare to have both but I guess I broke that rarity." He explained with guilt, and sorrow that he has to break her heart for good. "N-no you can't do this to me again!" She yelled.

"Bella I'm sorry but I can't lead you on knowing I have my True Mate. This will be the end between us, Jacob and the Pack will be around the house a lot to see Zoey, they will help protect you and Charlie." He responded watching as tears ran down Bella's cheeks, the anger, and heartbreak showing in her Chocolate Brown eyes, her pale face flushing with her emotions.

Edward turned to Zoey and smiled at her, as she watched the scene in concern. "Zoey." He stated gaining her attention; she looked at him smiling and allowing reassurance to appear in her eyes, remembering that he was a mind reader, from what Bella told her thinking to him.

It's okay Edward. After all the stuff she's done to me this year, and all that she's been through, this is for the best. I understand, I mean I don't think Bella's and I's friendship will ever be the same after this, but Thank you for being honest.

Edward nodded and said "Thank you for understanding Zoey. I just want to apologize as well on my behalf, for causing Bella to act in those reckless ways. I had no idea she was going to try to risk both of your lives multiple times, over me and Jacob. I hope we can move past that and become friends." He stated thoughtfully.

Zoey nodded once at him and looked over at Jacob who spoke up; standing beside his imprint, who took a step forward, and intertwining their hands protectively.

"I know we are supposed to be sworn enemies but I also wanted to bring Zoey here to bring up another treaty to add on, that Sam organized." Edward nodded at the wolf to continue, and Bella, Tanya and Zoey observed the scene with different emotions.

"Sam said that he would like you and your family to protect Zoey at all costs, whenever she is in Forks at least.. We can't bare to leave her unprotected when we all have a connection with her, and when she knows both secrets. He knows we don't all trust you, but it's the least you could do after the mess you causeed when you left." He stated firmly looking over at Bella watching her fume even more over the conversation.

Edward glanced at Bella and then at Zoey "You have a deal Jacob." He walked closer to Jacob, letting go of Tanya's hand and shook the Wolf's hand firmly to seal the deal.
