The Invincible Miya

'She's unconscious now, but also conscious.'

The aura she exuded made even Bo feel drowsy, but he had a strange confidence about him, never truly falling under her sleep spell. Her body continued to make a low hum as she just stood there, hunched over at the shoulders and eyes fixated at Bo. Her hair flowed like waves through the air, giving off an aura of its own.

Kem, Chance, Tip, and Sarah seemed to want Bo to make the first move. Bo hesitated for a bit, but eventually, he took action.

The first blow connected, giving off a significant whack that filled the arena. Miya had zero reaction to his first strike, so Bo went for another. The swing cut through the air, but Miya dodged under it.

'Upper right'

His upper right fist plummeted for a guaranteed blow to the back, and her body fell to the ground, instantly regaining its balance.

'She's on the offensive.'

A foreign voice resonated within Bo's head.

'I'll snap her neck!'

His upper left arm landed a hook directly onto Miya's face, her neck rotating almost a complete 180 degrees.

'Why'd you do that?'

'It's more fun that way!'

A normal person would be dead by now, but Miya's legs still moved. Her neck popped back into place without effort at all, and she continued sprinting toward Bo.

'I have an idea.'

His upper left and right arms grabbed Miya by the hair, and Bo could immediately feel the power of Miya's sleep spell, nearly going under the spell, but something stopped the spell's influence. His left and right arm remained at my side as Miya's unconscious form struggled, restrained by his hind arms.

'A blow to the gut.'

It landed, and Miya let out a hellish screech that echoed throughout the combat room. Everyone remained watching silently.

'What's this?'

Blue lines began spreading throughout Miya's body. They spanned from her hair to her feet and covered the majority of her body.

'The mark of a blessing. I've never seen one like this before.'

Bo's arm began to feel strange, swelling as it rested after hitting Miya's gut.

'Beo.'

'Sure thing.'

It made a large pop that startled all of those who were spectating. Blood covered the middle of the ring and had engulfed Miya's body. The pop seemed to have stopped her unconscious stance as well.

"We need to clean this up before she awakens."

Kem was the first to enter the ring and assist him.

Miya sat in the middle of the ring, completely unconscious. The marks that lined her body had dissipated, and the aura that she exuded slowly faded away. Kem patted Bo on the shoulder, but Bo continued cleaning the blood, blood still pouring out of his missing right arm.

"First time I've seen you fight like that in a while."

Kem had already cleaned most of the blood off of the ring floor.

"Yeah."

Nifla teleported Miya outside of the ring; removing the blood that covered her body.

"She's not going to be very happy when she wakes up."

"Yeah."

Sarah compressed the blood to an imperceptible level which took care of the rest of the blood on the stage.

Kem pulled back his hair to put on his mission goggles, his eyes and mouth remaining hidden.

"Beo went a bit overboard there, huh?"

The man's voice resonated within Bo once more, his cocky outburst only to be heard by Bo.

'I was holding back.'

Bo wiped blood from his chest before licking the blood from his hands, cleaning them.

"Yes he did. I never meant to seriously harm Miya during the sparring match. I meant to evade."

"It's ok, man. You can't help it. You can apologize when Miya wakes up."

"Yeah."

Bo removed himself from the ring.

'It's painful! After punching my own friend in the face and gut, I felt nothing! Do I still even care about Miya?! Beo was the only thing that stopped me from killing her, but even then, he takes things too far...'

Chance walked toward Miya. She had been set in a front row seat next to where Sarah sat.

"For some reason, I miss the old days. It was more peaceful then. It all went downhill after the incident."

He remained by Miya, inspecting her.

Chance's family tried to help treat Miya's wounds, but they found none. The room stayed quiet for a while as everyone tried to get things ready for Miya's awakening. Nifla broke the silence.

"It's sad."

Chance stopped inspecting Miya.

"What is?"

"That she's the oldest and strongest one out of all of us, and she doesn't-"

Kem interrupted.

"There's nothing we can do about it now besides our job, hunting down those fucking cowards and taking her memories back. I'm sure he wouldn't have the balls to show himself if she were at full power."

"You're right. I know this, but it still angers me."

Nifla appeared near Bo. She didn't say a word for a few seconds; she just looked at him.

"She's about to wake up in a few minutes."

She grabbed Bo's arm.

"Ok. Sit her up. We need to continue the matches. Chance. Kem. Fight."

Both of them spoke.

"Sounds like fun."

They climbed into the ring. Tip counted them off, but Kem hesitated.

"Bo. You should fix that."

He pointed at Bo's arm. It was gone after the incident in the ring, so Bo quickly regenerated it, taking about 5 seconds to do so.

"Thank you for reminding me."

They continued their fight, and the ring shook and sparked as Kem struggled to get a hit on Chance. Chance's barrier continued to cause Kem trouble as Chance's family took the offensive, Kem unaware of their approach. Kem took a blow to the face, but he reacted instantly, landing a lightning-fast kick on the apparition, but it had no effect.

"Why don't you fight me yourself?!"

"If you say so."

Chance advanced toward Kem.

Kem darted toward Chance in return and landed a kick on Chance's head. His head didn't react at all, and Chance swung toward Kem, landing a hit on his sleeve and tearing his coat. The invisible weapon made no sound when moving; the only indication that it was there was Kem's injury.

Kem seemed angry by the attack, sparking violently.

"You bitch!"

"I knew you were going to start taking this too seriously."

Chance's eyes gleamed, preparing himself for Kem's attack. Kem's hair shot up, revealing his forehead as her shot toward Chance, but they both suddenly stopped when a light groan was heard at the side of the ring.

Bo stepped forward.

"Calm down, Kem. It's time."

Everyone assumed their initial positions with exception of Bo and the two fighting in the ring. Kem ripped the remainder of his sleeve off, and the two of them continued their duel. Bo sat next to Nifla on the other side of the ring, only moments before Miya finally awoke.
