11. Run away
"Hey. You're a bit lazy aren't you?" I grinned when he walked into the kitchen as i got some blood out of the Cabinet. "What?"
"It's 12:00"
"It is? That bed's weirdly comfortable"
"So is the floor which i somehow woke up on" I smiled as I took a sip of the blood.
"There's stuff in those cabinets if you're hungry"
"Do all of you have food?"
"No only me. I like eating it even though it does nothing"
"Ok"
"You say that a lot. Is that just to end the conversation?"
"Yep" he nodded as he looked in the cabinet.
"Why can't the others come in your section?"
"Because all the sections are cursed so that if I don't want people coming in they can't. I have to invite them"
"Oh. That's weird"
"It's helpful. I love my family but they can all be a pain in the ass. Especially the Nippers"
"The who?" He said as he got a box of cereal down. "My brothers. I call them Nippers so I don't have to say their names. That's why I call the twins, Twinies"
"What is this?"
"It's cornflakes?"
He scrunched up his face slightly as he looked at the box. "Just get some milk and sprinkle sugar on them it's nice"
"What?"
"Bloody hell Draco it's simple" I sighed as I walked over.
I got a bowl out and took the box from him. Before putting the cereal milk and sugar on. "There. How does it taste?"
He sat down and frowned at the food before picking up the spoon and eating some. He looked up at me and back down at it. "That's disgusting"
"Then why are you still eating it?"
"It's sugar" he grinned.
"If you want sugar just have chocolate" I rolled my eyes and chucked some chocolate at him. "Thanks"
I looked around for a bit in confusion. "I swear I used to have a dog"
"You swear?" Draco frowned. "Yeah. A big one too. Oh wait he's over there" Draco turned around to see a big black dog staring over at him. "Hey Dozer"
"Dozer?"
"Yeah... he's an extremely lazy dog"
"So, is this all you do? Just sit around and eat?"
"Yep. And it's what I'll have to do forever"
"You don't have friends to go out with?"
"No. The only friends I have are the twins"
To be honest, I'd completely forgotten about the nightmare. Mainly because I asked Luna to remove or destroy that memory somehow. Which she did, so I forgot about it completely.
"Kara!" I frowned and made my way over to the section door. "Jamie?"
"I need to talk to you. It serious"
"Uh ok, come in" I was confused when we walked into the kitchen.
"Draco, will you give us a minute?"
"Sure" he nodded and went to his room. "What's up?"
"Mum and dad didn't just want to meet Draco they want to kill him"
"Why?"
"They didn't have a reason"
"They always have a reason, Jamie"
"Ok fine. It's because you haven't completed the first part of your task yet"
"Well of course I haven't it's only been a year!"
"Listen, I wrote to Sirius. He said you could go and stay with him at the Order. Andrew already said he would take you as well"
"That will get both of you into trouble"
"Andrews 170 he'll be fine. And so will I, I'll just run to a friends. But you're older than any of us, you're stronger than any of us"
"When?"
"Well I was thinking now since-"
"Hey Kara where did my bags go?" Draco frowned when he came in the room "-Andrew's waiting outside" Jamie continued. I sighed and got a bag before filling it with my blood bottles.
"Draco we're leaving. There's been a change of plans"
"Ok?"
I finished packing my bag and went and gave Jamie another hug. "Don't lie to him for too long" he whispered. "I can't promise anything" I whispered back. I smiled and quickly dragged Draco out of the door.
"Young lady where do you think you're going!?"
"Andrew take Draco back to his home. I'm not safe to be around for the minute"
"Yes ma'am" he nodded before getting in the car and driving off.
"My word you've finally lost control" she smiled. "You lay a finger on him and I will kill you"
"Yes, yes blah, blah I know how it works. Watch yourself, you never know who's hiding around the corner"
I scowled at her before zooming off to the people I trust most, the people who know what to do and how to help me.
