13. Back to school

"Hey Malfoy" I smiled as I sat down. "Hey"

"What happened? Why'd you send me home"?"

"Because you know, house full of vampires, a human. It's not exactly the safest thing"

"Fair enough" He nodded. "Have you not eaten?"

"Not for three weeks, no"

"Why?"

"I ran out and then the others at the order didn't want to give me any"

"Do you- uh, do you want some?"

"We're in a train full of people"

"So?"

"Where are the goons and Parkinson?"

"Coming"

"Draco, if they're coming i can't"

"What's wrong with a bit of scaring people?"

"Fine. If you insist on them watching me bite your neck then fine" I grinned as i came and sat next to him. "I won't make this one hurt"

"You mean you purposely hurt them?"

"Yeah? It's kind of like they're realizing what they got themselves into, the sound they make. Anyway, do you want it to hurt or not?"

"No"

"Then shut up and let me eat"

He took his robes off so they wouldn't get bloody and made himself comfortable. I sat on my knees and slowly bit into the bottom of his neck, my other hand on the other side of it.

"Oh gross, Draco" Pansy frowned. "She isn't doing that" He smirked. "Then what's she doing-" She got cut off when i flung my hand into their direction and all three of them got dragged in by magic. I then used that magic to shut and lock the door whilst i continued to feed. I mean it has been three weeks. "It looks like she's doing that" Crabbe said in a slight sneer.

I gave a small amused chuff and brought my head away, the blood dripping down onto his shirt and onto my chin. "Oh my god!" They all said as they squeezed together. "Can i? It's been three weeks"

"Whatever" He shrugged. I smiled and bit back into his neck and continued to drink the blood as he sat as calm as possible as if it weren't happening.

"Why is she biting you!?"

"She's feeding"

"Why!?"

"Because Kara's a vampire. She needs blood or she'll die"

"And she's drinking yours because?"

"I offered it to her. You can't tell anyone or she'll probably murder you"

"Ok?"

"Does it not hurt?" Goyle frowned. "No, she can make it hurt if she want- HEY!"

"Sorry" I said as i reached my hand up to his neck and healed it.

I sat back and wiped the blood off my chin and off of his face. "I'd cover that if i were you" I nodded at his shirt and he put his robes back on and covered the blood stains. "Who else has she done that to?"

"Uh, I've only fed on him and the Weasley twins"

"That's messed up"

"What's messed up is that i belong to him"

"Really?"

I nodded and rolled up my sleeve to show them the initials tattooed into my wrist.

I unlocked the door and we sat in silence as i looked out of the window. "Does it hurt?"

"Does what hurt?"

"Being bitten" Pansy frowned. "Depends how i feel. If i like you, i'm nice and i don't make it hurt. If i don't like you, i'll make it as painful as i like"

"Can you bite me?"

"Excuse me?"

"Can you bite me? I want to feel what it's like"

"Ok. Stand up" I nodded, standing up myself. "Be nice" Draco smirked when she came in front of me.

I put my hand on her neck before carefully biting into it. She gasped a bit making me grin, until that feeling came. I let go of her neck with a frown as my arm went around my stomach.

I growled and dropped onto my knees. "Kara what's wrong?"

"Ve- verv-" I let out another growl when i collapsed onto my side. "Pansy do you drink Vervain?"

"Yes it's healthy?"

"Shit. Not for her. It's a poison to Vampires" Draco frowned as he knelt down.

I felt bubbles come from the corner of my mouth, the inside of my skin felt like it was burning. "I'll be back. Get her on the seat" Draco frowned before leaving the compartment. They picked me up and laid me on the chair.

I listened to Draco as he spoke to the twins. "Hey uh, what do you do if Kara drinks vervain?"

"Why?"

"Just wondering. You know, for emergencies"

"Uh, she has to drink clean blood straight from the body"

"Great, thanks"

He came back in as the bubbles leaked from my mouth. He looked around and went up to my boot before pulling a knife out of it. "Really?" He said raising his eyebrow. I huffed and closed my eyes for a second.

"Draco!" Pansy shouted when he put a slit in his neck. He knelt in front of me and pulled me toward him. "I c- can't stop th- this from hurting"

"Just- do it"

I frowned and bit into where he cut, the most painful place he could have put it. He gave a pain-filled growl as my teeth dug into him and blood quickly flowed down his back. I let go and he frowned at my eyes. "Why are your eyes black?"

"I need to go"

"What?"

"Draco you need to drink vervain in every drink you have. I don't die when the vervain reaches my heart i turn into a complete monster. No control, no sympathy, no fear to kill. Tell the twins i've snapped"

"Kara what are you-"

I looked at Pansy as the whites of my eyes went completely black and the blue stood out. I ran out the door and looked down the hall both ways before jumping up onto the roof of the train, relieving myself of any smells.

"Kara"

I turned around to see Jamie standing on the train behind me. "Jamie" I smiled. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. "Drink this. It will stop what's happening to you but if you smell blood it wont stop it"

"Thank you" I smiled. I took the liquid and gulped it down immediately. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to keep an eye on you"

"You mean-?"

"I'm coming to school"
