"Well as I said before you rudely interrupted me if you were to fight me head on you wouldn't be able to win, but if you were to fight me while also trying to get under my skin then the outcome of the battle would be completely different, especially because of the fact that earth ability users need to maintain high levels of concentration in order to perform attacks."

The reason that it can be an advantage is because of the fact that your opponent won't be fighting with their head anymore and would instead start being driven by emotions. When they start fighting like that they tend to end up being easy to read and start to make rash decisions, but even then you still shouldn't underestimate them because they also tend to be a bit more stronger when they're just being driven by emotion. Parker and markus both knew that fighting the both of them head on would be way too risky, they knew that this time instead of just fighting one person they would be fighting two and because of that they had to end up resorting to the oldest trick in the book. They sure as hell didn't know that they had anger issues, if anything it was just a godsend that they happened to be angered so easily."

"I don't, but then again it's not completely outta the picture, but it's not like there's any evidence to support that claim. Hey, have you ever noticed the fact that people never really believed in religions and stuff like that?"

"It's because of the fact that people didn't need to make up reasons for what they would call the "unknown" and what we would call natural phenomena or just basic science. There were no gods that controlled the seas and made tsunamis when angered, no celestial beings that dictated the weather, no deities that could make mountains rise from the ground just because they felt like it. There was no need to make up ridiculous reasons for what had happened in the past that they couldn't understand because of the fact that most of these occurrences almost always happened right before their eyes when one of their own began to realize that they had an extraordinary power that only they could use. Instead of mysterious almighty gods that were worshipped, it was the strongest of the humans with extraordinary abilities that were worshipped, they were the ones that were treated like gods and it's always been that way, even now. Why do you think us officers have so many fans and are even seen as idols? It's because of the fact that we're strong and we're something they can completely believe in, I mean after all we're also something that they can see for themselves unlike said mysterious gods."
