"So, you're going to invent a time machine?" Steve confusedly asked as Dio was lost in thought.
"No, of course not! This is more like, well, a time machine!" Scott said as he didn't have any other good way to describe his thoughts. "Look, I know that it's too absurd, and that is why I have never told anyone about this idea! I think it is impossible too, so I am not confident we can even do anything about it!" Scott said while pacing back and forth.
"Dio, what do you think?" Natasha asked as she turned around and looked at Dio directly.
Dio thought that the idea was indeed far-fetched, but this was Marvel Universe he was talking about, not some animation of the blue cat with a magic pouch! Rather than building this Time Machine, Dio believed that finding the Dragon Balls to summon Shen Long might be more reasonable, but his instinct told him that Scott's idea might not be so crazy after all!
"We have no choice, anyway, do we?" Dio groaned for a moment as he knew that it would be an arduous path ahead. Still, it was worth trying as the Infinity Stones have been destroyed!
"Now, where do we start?" Dio asked Scott as he didn't have the slightest idea on how to build this time machine, but he assumed that Scott should have a rough idea as he had already researched it.
"To be honest, I didn't really know myself! I have been trying to get results, but I couldn't do it alone! Some theories and operations involved are beyond my capability, so I think we have to find someone that could help us!" Scott said solemnly.
"Tony!" Natasha suddenly shouted. But she was right! There was no genius that was more profound than the infamous Tony Stark!
"Maybe we can bring Shuri in as well. If we manage to pull it off, T'challa would be revived as well, so I am sure she would be willing to help!" Dio said confidently.
"Yes, and Banner too! I believe that he still got the brain part in his hulking body! and this is much better than running a pizzeria!" Steve added.
Tony, Shuri, and Banner! These people would form a remarkable scientific team in all of the Marvel Universe! But only if they agreed to join the team!
"I will contact Shuri to see if she agrees! Scott, is there any specific equipment that you want to get?" Dio asked.
"No, I already packed all my things as I left Wakanda," Scott said confidently.
"I will call Banner!" Natasha said hurriedly.
Steve and Dio nodded as it would be best to leave Banner to Natasha. Now that Banner has merged with the Hulk, it would be easier for Natasha to convince him. The only one left now waws Tony, who has secluded himself from the world. Steve believed that their chance of bringing Tony back from his cottage was completely bleak, but he knew that he should try to convince Tony to help.
"I know where Tony is. Let's go and see him together!" Steve said hesitantly. Dio immediately nodded as he knew that Tony was the most troublesome one out of the three scientists! Meanwhile, Scott was reluctant to leave his daughter with his relatives, but he knew that no one else was familiar with Quantum Realms other than him!
"When are we leaving?" Scott asked curiously.
"The sooner, the better, preferably right now!" Steve said without hesitation. Scott hesitated but nodded immediately. Although he was worried about his daughter, Cassie was already old enough to take care of herself for a while, so it shouldn't be a problem!
"Can I count on that pretty woman earlier? Can she stay here with Cassie for a few days?" Scott asked as he still thought about his daughter.
"No, she only arrived on Earth for a day! She doesn't understand Earth's common sense just yet. If something bad happens, the whole city will be destroyed. So, I can't take my eyes off her for too long!" Dio said solemnly.
"Oh, God! She is with Cassie right now!" Scott said as he got nervous all of a sudden.
"Don't worry too much! Although Ruzie is an alien, she has a good personality and won't hurt a little girl like Cassie!" Dio said casually. But still, Scott felt unease leaving his daughter alone with an alien that could very easily destroy a city.
"What's wrong, dad?" Cassie said as she arrived with Ruzie. Scott immediately hugged her as he was slightly relieved that nothing bad happened to her.
"Daddy will go with the Avengers for a moment, and you have to be a good girl at home! If someone rings the doorbell, just shout that no one's home! If they insist, just have Sam greet them! You must hide during that moment and call daddy immediately, understand?" Scott said to Cassie worriedly.
"Alright, daddy! Can you let Ruzie stay with me at home?" Cassie asked hopefully.
"Next time, sweetheart! There would be opportunities for a sleepover in the future!" Scott said with a smile on his face. After knowing that Ruzie wasn't practically safe, Scott didn't want to leave his daughter alone with her! He ought to trust her not to bring any danger first, and it would take a while before Scott completely trusted her!
"Alright, daddy!" Cassie said while smiling and waving goodbye to everyone. Although she was a little sad to stay behind alone, she knew that she couldn't let her father worry about her.
Dio looked at Ruzie and noticed that she, too, seemed reluctant to leave Cassie alone. "Calm down, you will have the opportunity to come here once again in the future!" Dio said with a sigh. Ruzie immediately smiled cheerfully once again! She felt happy after meeting someone as innocent and sincere as Cassie. She never thought that life would be pretty bright like this after a long while.
"You don't need to worry about Cassie, I will order people to keep tabs on her!" Natasha said as she tried to ease Scott a little bit. Scott immediately nodded and followed Dio and the others to the car.
This time, instead of using the Quinjet, everyone drove a car and immediately drove towards the suburbs. Stark Industries were up and running again, but the management was no longer in Tony and Pepper's hands anymore. They already delegated that position to other people that they could trust, and both of them were casually living in a place off the grid!
