The sudden change slowed down both sides! The Chitauri Army deployed hundreds of soldiers and 5 leviathans to attack Luci. Meanwhile, Luci was determined to complete her task, but it wasn't that easy for her as so many enemies were coming at her at once.
Luci stretched out her hands slowly, and a large number of white lights emerged from her wings that were immediately condensed into swords of light.
"Omnislash!" The goddess of light disappeared from her spot using her breakneck speed and reappeared for a split second in front of every enemy! After a single second, Luci returned to her previous spot again, and a flash of light burst out of the leviathans. It was an intense blinding light before these Leviathans were cut in half and fell down to the ground.
Everyone who saw the scene was stunned, frozen in silence, as they didn't know what word they could use to describe Luci's overwhelming power. The powerful Leviathans were hard to take down, and it even both Thor and Hulk to bring down one of them, but the goddess of light just destroyed them in seconds!
Everything that happened seemed like an illusion!
Even Dio of this time went completely stiff as he saw the Goddess of Light in action from afar! Dio already knew about the Ant-Man's existence, so he wouldn't care if Ant-Man appeared here, but this was something that he never saw before! He never saw anything like this Goddess of Light before in Marvel Cinematic Universe. As a matter of fact, he really doubted that anything like this existed in the Comic Universe!
Where did this thing come from?
Dio really couldn't remember anything like this ever existed!
There was no way such a powerful and beautiful character wouldn't be used repetitively in the comic, but Dio was certain that he never saw one like this before! Dio began to doubt everything he knew up until now. He was confident that he already knew about the whole plot about Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that didn't seem to be the case at all!
As far as Dio was concerned, he wasn't sure that he could even stop this Goddess of Light! However, the worst outcome wasn't final yet as it seemed this Goddess of Light was fighting the enemy too!
But then he saw the Goddess of Light flapped her wings and created a gust of wind that blew Steve and Natasha away from the Avenger Tower. Dio was confused by what the Goddess of Light did as it didn't seem to serve any purpose. Of course, Natasha and Steve were forced to stay away from the Avenger Tower, but for what reason?
While Dio was racking his brain out to figure out what the Goddess of Light was trying to do, Steve and Natasha had completely no idea where they were right now. The gust of wind blew them quite far, relocating them so far away from the center of chaos!
After Steve and Natasha have been cast out miles away, the Goddess of Light immediately disappeared. Dio was even more surprised as he couldn't figure out what the Goddess of Light planned.
Nevertheless, he couldn't complain as his side didn't receive any loss while the enemy was suffering heavy casualties. Dio had no doubt that the Goddess of Light was a bane to the Chitauri Army's plan.
But when the Goddess of Light disappeared, the Chitauri Army immediately swarmed the area once more! Dio stopped cast aside the thought about Goddess of Light immediately and focused on culling the incoming Chitauri Army Soldiers as fast as he could.
On the other side, Scott knocked the present Steve and Natasha unconscious to make sure that Steve and the others from his time didn't encounter any trouble later.
"My part is done! Steve and Natasha have fainted!" Scott reported back to the rest of the team.
Steve received Scott's report but didn't say anything to it as he had his own task. He couldn't show himself in the wrong timing as Steve of this time just disappeared. He ought to make sure that his act later would be believable.
At the same time, the nuclear missiles that the USA government launched arrived on schedule and the present Tony drove it towards the Chitauri Army's wormhole. The Future Tony couldn't help but wonder if he was still able to make the same decision he made in the past knowing what he had in the future?
The answer to that question immediately popped in his head, but he wouldn't be able to tell anyone that answer.
"We have to go now." Steve said, snapping Tony from his daydream.
"Alright!" Tony said as he left behind the scene of his sacrifice behind.
The future Steve, who already put on a make up to make himself look like himself from this time, with a handful of dust smeared all over his body and face, rushed towards Dio. His goal was to secure Loki's Scepter, where the Mind Stone resided.
Dio noticed Steve coming towards him and stared at him for a couple of seconds but say nothing to it.
"Hey, why is that huge monster gone?" Steve asked Dio, pretending to be intrigued.
"I don't know! It disappeared after blowing you up, do you know anything about that monster?" Dio asked as he didn't seem to doubt Steve's identity.
Steve of course knew a lot about that Monster, as it was Luci that the future Dio brought along. She was an alien from a faraway planet! But he couldn't say that he knew her as it would blow his cover. So, Steve just shook his head and walked towards scepter, pulling it out from the ground.
Throughout the process, Dio didn't say anything or stop Steve as Natasha had been holding to the scepter for a while before, so it wasn't strange if Steve approached it himself.
Steve breathed a sigh of relief as he held the scepter on his hand, and he was about to get away before …
