Gaia Overfield is 16 years old.



Her life had been relatively boring up until now. OK, she had always felt 'different'. And had 'weird' friends - according to all the 'normal' kids anyway. But, she felt she just existed for the sake of it.



Then one fateful day, everything changed. She found a green leaf-shaped gem during a walk in the forest. She was not alone. Her friends Drake, Aqua, John, Claudia, Elizabeth, and Hardin had all found similar gems.



These items would change their lives in more ways than one.



Now empowered with 'gifts' of nature, earth, fire, water, clouds, amber, lighting - a new beginning was dawning for all of them - as they embark on a search for the origins behind these precious stones.
