Penny's Song

It's 1970 and Penny Herrick, 19, single and pregnant, escapes her constrained life and untrustworthy priest in Valhalla, NY to Greenwich Village, where she plans to raise her baby. She meets Randy, a lively British street musician who takes her under his wing. She, in turn, helps him with his career. She is his muse; they swiftly become soulmates.



When she experiences a loss no parent should ever suffer, Penny's doubts grow, particularly amidst dealings with a tempestuous roommate, volatile agent, and her past nightmares.



Will her love for Randy survive a double tragedy, particularly since his admission that he is gay?
