Selena clenched her arm, her fingers sank into her skin.

"Yes?" Klautz had question marks on his face.

Selena ducked her head not wanting to meet Klautz in the eye.

"I know that it was you who saved me. Thank you for saving my life." She said it in whispers as if every word she took was choking her but it was audible enough for Klautz to hear.

Klautz wasn't the type to play on his life to save and he was definitely not the type to do that for someone as selfish as Selena. But considering how easy it was for him to do so he went along with it.

Indeed Klautz was the one who had accomplished what Lewis claimed to be a so-called anomaly.
