I walk down the hall and open a door that is supposedly invisible to the other people here. Once I get in, I am hit with the smell of books.
So many…
I walk around the library and try to find a book on the Razaelians. But nothing is organized! Seriously…
Forget it! This is the perfect time to see if my database still works.
Back when I was a robot, my chip was programmed with all the knowledge that we would need. Including WiFi!
My chip had been consumed by the girl but I'm not exactly sure what happened to the actual chip. I focus on logging into a WiFi satellite...it works! This must mean that my chip is still in this body somehow. That must be why I am able to make this body function as if it were my own. But how…? Oh well! That's not important right now!
I go into the internet and search "Razaelians"
Many results come up so I click on the first link.
There isn't too much information but this is what I could gather.
The Razaelians are basically the western part of the magical half of this world. There is the western side which is called "Razael" and the eastern side called "Sekael". Together they form the magical side or what they call "Erathaol".
I'm still not sure why these two sides are fighting so I click on another link.
Nothing.
I go to another.
Still nothing.
And another.
Nada.
I give up on the internet since it's obvious that the Skiloses, the robots who gather information, have no other information on the land of Erathaol.
I looked up at the tall shelves of books. Time to read.
I don't exactly need to read, I can skim through the pages and scan each book. My chip will memorize the information and save it for when I need it.
After reading (skimming) through all of the books, I search for "Razael vs Sekael" in my memory chip.
Several results come up and I choose the most recent book that was written.
"After the collision of the magic and metal worlds, families from the eastern side of Erathol who were the closest to the world of metal fled to the west, feeling much safer there but soon caused an increase of population in the western side of Erathaol. Of course the western invited them with open arms but were soon bombarded by a huge decrease of supplies and food due to overpopulation. The people of Erathol closed off the eastern side to any other people who wanted to flee from the west. Feeling as if there was a huge rift in the world of Erathaol, the westerns called themselves "Razael" and the easterns "Sekael"."
Well that explains the discrimination between these people but it doesn't explain recent news.
I guess that the Razaelians want to come back to Sekael because there is more food here. But the Sekaelians are scared that there would not be enough food for everyone if they all come back all at once.
That is an issue…
What if the Razaelians want to come to the east by force? It would be a war for food and land.
I should do something about this since I am living here now.
Ah! I could use my earth magic to make their crops grow faster. Then, they wouldn't have to fight over food. Problem solved.
I walk back to the meeting room but before unfreezing everyone, I decide to move people around. Just so that they don't make more trouble for me.
I grabbed the rope that held the curtains together and wrapped it around the people with bad auras to tie them up. Next I removed their weapons and moved them outside the door. Then I pulled the guy with the brother over to where Xavier and Ezra were. And finally, to finish it off, I put everyone's pointer finger up their noses. Why? Because I was bored and it looked funny.
I went back to the brother guy, grabbed his arm, and finally let time flow again.
Everyone who was panicking was now panicking with style, with their finger up their noses.
Pfft.
Ezra saw the guys tied up and looked around at the people who were now confused and embarrassed. He finally looked at me and saw my captive.
He was squirming around, trying to get loose but my grip was too strong.
"No! No, not me! I won't let you do to me what you did to my brother!" He yelled
The king, who was calming everyone down, looked back at Xavier and told him to bring in the guards from outside the door.
When they came in, he ordered them to take the guys tied up to the prison under the castle.
He saw the guy I kept back and told me to take him into the next room.
I nodded and pulled the guy with me. As we passed the door, the guy grabbed a sword from the pile of weapons that I threw (and forgot about) outside the door. He swung at the arm that I was holding him with and chopped it off. I heard screaming from the room.
I looked down at my missing arm. I kinda liked that arm…
The guy moved to escape but I grabbed him with my other arm and kicked the sword out of his hand. He screamed. Oops, I broke his hand. My bad.
The guards who were standing in shock finally snapped out of it and ran to help me. Unfortunately, they were slipping over my blood.
I sighed and took the guy to the next room where I stood over him to make sure he wasn't able to leave.
"Niko! Your arm! You need to stop the blood flow" Ezra yelled when he bursted into the room
I waved him off and showed him my already regenerating arm. It was already half done.
"T-that's impossible" he mumbled
Xavier rushed in with half of the medical center.
"I've got bandages!" He yelled
"She doesn't need bandages" Ezra sighed
"What are you talking about? Her hand got chopped off!"
"Show him"
I lifted my arm. Oh! Only the fingers left!
Xavier looked like a goldfish out of sea.
The king also walked in and saw my arm.
"Any other surprises we need to know about you?" He asked
...
"Xavier, how were bandages going to help a chopped off arm?" Ezra asked
"I...I don't know" he replied
