Rexford and the crew enjoyed a good breakfast made by A'Xiu, Jiang Churan, and Chang Wen. Why the three were so enthused this morning was beside him. The crew thought nothing of Aunty Tang showing up when she was introduced as an Actress and Location Manager for the company.
Her business in Real Estate helping the matter along further. With everything going on with the changeup, Rexford, A'Xiu, Chang Wen, and Wu Shanhe were heading to the Cold Dragon Pond.
Aunty Tang wanted to relax after the decision to put her husband behind bars was made. Jiang Churan is the least hesitant about the plan but and wants to give her father the benefit of the doubt. That did not go over with Rexford at all but he left them to their personal affair.
"Shoot as much as you can around Double Dragons Town," Rexford said as the group departed. "Memory serves they have a lot of dated homes that may fit into future productions."
"Come on!" Chang Wen jumped up and down excitedly. "LET'S GOOO!!" She shot off at full speed. A'Xiu and Wu Shanhee followed behind her at a fair pace.
"Well, later." Rexford was wearing the Martial attire of the Ansatsuken. Behind him, a few floating lights moved about. "Let's see if this can make a good recording technique."
The lights were composed of concentrated Space energy wrapped in qi. Highspeed camera inside that took video footage. With a few Gravity Formations, he could move it around just by exercising his will.
"Best time for some training too." The increased Gravity on his body caused the earth to sink at least two inches when activated. "Here.." qi swam around his body matching his breath. "...we.." The air tasted sweeter as well. "..go!"
*BOOOM!* A small sonic boom echoed in the area. Rexford caught up with the others in less than 14 seconds. Teasing them and having A'Xiu and Wu Shanhe fix their forms. Chang Wen was active so she was fine.
Feeling his pocket vibrate, Rexford took out his phone answering it while they ran through the mountain. It was Wei Lan who had some good news.
Wei Lan: I found a small Aviation Company in the area. They were happy to sell to us. I am happy to say we now own four helicopters. OK, three helicopters until they are all fixed up.
"That is good." Rexford could feel his Senses improving from his Transcendence Realm meditation. With each foot fall on the ground, he was able to feel the qi in the Earth. Every breath he took allowed him to feel the qi in the Sky. 'My sense is changing really rapidly.'
Wei Lan: To make it short I am heading to wherever you are. Mind giving me some coordinates?
Rexford did one better. Internally he focused on the Silhouette that marked her and channeled his qi into it. Both his eyes and Wei Lan's eyes started glowing. They shared their sight with one another. But also the very distance between them.
"Can you see and feel that?" Rexford asked just to make sure. The others near him thought he was talking to them. It seemed they could not feel what he was doing. Which was good for when searching for one another in the future. "If not I will send you the coordinates as it changes."
Wei Lan: I can see and definitely feel it. I will be with you in an hour or so.
Her voice was almost giddy as she hung up the phone. The qi refined by Rexford circulates inside her with the Silhouette acting as a Gateway. The Mini looking on in wonder at this and trying to understand the best way to use it.
Each foot fall Rexford also connected himself with the Earth more. Sending a sensation back to him that he couldn't quite understand. Something that he could look into later when not busy like now.
A few flowers sprouting in each of those spots enriching the ground.
It took Wei Lan a little longer than she thought since Rexford's group was moving pretty fast the entire time. With Chang Wen, the only one able to keep up with him as the other two definitely needed to train their bodies more.
Standing on a cliffside they looked out. The large boundless trees looked beautiful. With a few unusual rock formations, With a thought, he extends his senses towards it. Feeling it changed even further.
"Guess just call it Divine Sense the way it feels anyway." Rexford could see a Black Gold line move about under his will. Each of his Cultivation Methods was mixed into it. As well as the Black Gold Vortex itself. 'So much to look into. Need to be patient I suppose.'
"I can feel a lot of Cold Qi in the area." Wei Lan said. She moved up behind Rexford feeling a strong pull from him. "This entire place feels amazing."
"That it is with several animals and monsters and having developed here." Wu Shanhe added in. He finally caught his breath with A'Xiu did so right after. "Perfect for several Cultivators of certain types."
"I want this place as my own personal home." Chang Wen said. Her eyes emitting a trace of Cold Qi on its own. A'Xiu was having the same issues as her. "It feels like Paradise the closer I get."
"That waterfall looks amazing." A'Xiu was almost breathless. The feel of the Boundless Qi affected them both as the seconds passed. Before they were running with it easily warded off by the use of Internal energy. "Can we just retire here?"
"Don't be silly." Rexford said. He would let them break themselves free before it was too late. "Get ahold of yourselves before you really end up here for Eternity."
"Hehe, keep your minds focused ladies. I didn't expect your Cultivation manuals to have such a profound effect on you both." Wu Shanhe said. His head turned to the side as a few people were approaching. "It seems my brothers are on the way."
Two old men came over landing not too far away from them. They looked at the others and then at Wu Shanhe and Rexford. Not taking the others seriously at all.
This caused Wei Lan a person who lived in the martial world since childhood upset and Chang Wen definitely wanted to teach the old men a lesson. A'Xiu focused on centering herself from the influence of the area.
"You shouldn't show such stupid disregard for my disciples." Rexford said coldly. "Unlike several modern fools, I didn't have them waste time before teaching them. The sweeping of floors to build patience, the endless bowing may cause those relics to think this is good but it wastes time in which they can be taught."
"We were made to serve tea for two years of our martial disciple life." The older of the two said.
"In two years' time, I was at the strength of a Golden Glove Boxer from my teachers." Rexford retorted back. "The first person I taught was better than me and rose to that in one year. Your sweeping would have you beaten to a pulp with nothing to show for it."
"TCh!" The bigger of the two with a mole on his face scoffed. "What loyalty did they show you!?"
"Loyalty? Took a bullet for me and helped me take out a small insurrection before it got too big." Rexford commented back. "My test only required him to stab me in the chest. The same as my teachers required from them."
"So your disciples spill blood before learning, bet they are nothing but little weaklings." The older one said. Wu Shanhe actually took offense to that. "Old Wu you sure serve a brat now. Our master would roll in his grave at this.
"Chang Wen... beat them until they can not move anymore. Rexford stated. But A'Xiu finished clearing her mind from the influence of the area. "Yes?"
"Allow me to straighten them out. It is best for sister Wen not to waste her time." A'Xiu spoke confidently. " Taking out weaklings is for the youngest after all."
"This brat needs to learn her place." The fatty with the mold said. His instincts picked up just in time for him to no longer speak however. "Uggghh!" A palm blow directly to the stomach sent him flying off into the distance.
Dark Pink qi surrounded A'Xiu's hand. The modified Palm Strikes in Taekwondo working for her already. But she still needed better control.
"I .. think I may have killed him." A'Xiu looked at her palm trying to make her understanding of taking a life for what it was. But a small bit of killing intent sent her way, broke her from that musing. "Hiyah!"
"You will die you little bitch!" Old Mu shouted. He attacked her with everything he had going for a killing blow. A'Xiu ducked his strike grabbing his arm and flipping him over. "Kuh!" He spat up blood as his back broke.
"The other one is alive. So clear your mind of that. But this one..." Rexford pulled his Divine Sense away from the sent-off one. With a swipe of the finger, he cut Space just a bit and pulled the man through. 'That takes way too much energy and he didn't even go a mile.'
*Thump!* Dropping him down, Rexford looked at Wu Shanhe.
"Forgive them Master Mingyun.. it is just.. we went through different methods and the disrespect.." Wu Shanhe lamented on the different methods he had to go through before he was taught. '
"The disrespect is what they felt not a reflection of yourself?" Wei Lan cut in. "I am sure you told them that Master Mingyun would travel with his disciples in this area. The looks of disdain they showed may be alright with you, but not me!"
"Don't look at me." Rexford shrugged. "This is between you two. He looked at A'Xiu again. "Are you willing to kill this Old Mu for what he did and said?"
"I.. I cannot. I am not at the level just yet." A'Xiu answered. She stepped away from her downed enemy. "Guess I need to steel myself still to take a life."
"Grr!" Old Mu reached into his pocket pulling out a talisman. "You have intruded into our Secret Place, and dare seek to teach us!" The talisman lit up black with some foul qi. The same that could be found in the area.
"I spared you!" A'Xiu took the blow full on. Blood flowing in reverse from the impact. She ripped the talisman to shreds with her qi alone then she lashed out. "I won't die just yet!"
*Woosh!* Black pink qi exited her body in all directions. She took a single breath righting her blood flow. Left Palm extending in a twist as it pushed against the air.
"Uggh!" Old Mu stopped moving on his feet. A palm print on his chest with smoke leaving his orifices. Collapsing to his knees, he was already dead by the looks of it.
"Well.. killing in the heat of things. How.. nice." Rexford smirk taking the body away and tossing it into the Black Gold Vortex. "Defintely better than my first kill. But help with my passion for firearms and pointy blades."
"I.. wish it would have gone better." Wu Shanhe moved to the other. Staring down at his brother in arms as rage overtook him. "Should have gone differently. But I remember my words to the Master Of Chuzhuo. My master... I will not go back on those words."
With a clutch of the hand, the soul of his former disciple brother was ripped out. He turned to Rexford offering the body as payment for his lack of prudence in this matter.
"Keep it, you still have the spirit of Mr.Shi, there are further arts with Spirits for you to practice." Rexford sent a notebook to him. "Guard this well and study as best you can."
Despite what just happened, the group carried on like nothing happen. A'Xiu talking with Wu Shanhe and Wei Lan in regards to taking a life. Considering the two were closer in regards to how much blood they had spilled.
