"Let's go to the Auction Yingxia." Chang Wen said cheerfully. She was trying her best to cheer him up but was at her wit's end. if this didn't work, it was time to cut times with him. "It's a high-end party held by Fangsheng International."

Ji Xingyun was there. Having tried to speak with Si Yingxia and Change Wen. He lied to Yang Chao about having homework to do. He was not there to betray but to recruit. It fell on deaf ears as Si Yingcia didn't want to here it at all..

Auction-

Biao, Yang Chao, and Rexford dressed up to attend the auction. Biao just acting as a driver but also attending with Yang Chao. Yang Chao was going to try and build a few contacts to help with the Entertainment Business when members of the Agency people would need places to stay.

They seperated at the entrance with Rexford waiving them on as he had a call to take.

"What is it?"

"Just wanted to talk with you. What are you up to right now?" An Youya asked. She was currently hanging out with Fang Qiong talking about him actually. The various changes was the biggest debate among the teens. "Are you free to hang out right now?"

"No. Doing some business." Rexford walked over to the attendant and was checked in. Heading inside, he didn't see many people worth doing business with really. Didn't help any they had any special qualities about them cultivation-wise. 'Hmm, not a single one with spiritual roots. How disappointing.'

The attendant looked over who he believed to be the suitor of the young Wei heiress. Impressed but not overly so.

A few of the guests looked at Rexford with a look of speculation as well a little ridicule. He was by himself after all and they never saw him before. But the clothing he wore was not cheap at all to the spendthrifts in the room.

"Who is that young man?" A couple asked at a table.

"I don't know." His partner said. "He is dressed proper but talking on his phone, not much for manners."

"We don't know whose child or what business he is part of. Let's at least be polite." Two richly dressed young women decide to at least speak with him if he got off the phone that is. "Maybe wait until after the auction is over."

"What kind of business are you up to?" An Youya was curious.

"Auction right now. Gonna buy some things. Make a few contacts maybe, who knows." Rexford looked at the spread of food and was hungry. "About to make a plate to eat before it actually starts, so.."

"Where is the auction taking place at?" Fang Qiong shouted. Giving away that she was listening in as well. An Youya smiled at her earnest reply. "We can meet up and talk in person about some things."

"Right.." Rexford was not that enthused about it. Since they were probably thinking the same things they were the last they talked. "..I will send you the address but not waiting on you. I am gonna go now."

Hanging up, he finished fixing his plate then moved to sit down. Before the first piece of shrimp went into his mouth, someone called out to him. But it was ignored as he bit into the shrimp.

"Chen Fan!" An excitied female called out. It was none other than Xu Rongfei coming over after spotting him. She sped walked from the side of Ranran towards him. "Why are you here?"

*Crunch!* Rexford broke a crab apart and seperated the meat. Giving a hand gesture for her to sit, he continued to eat his meal. Separating the meat from the various shellfish casing but only eating shrimp till he finished them off.

"You must be really hungry." Rongfei said with a smile. Ranran walked over sitting on her own. "We heard that there would be many mysterious auction items, so we came to a look."

Rexford spread some bread open and made a sandwich with the various seafood meat. Only looking at Rongfei every now and then.

"So you didn't come alone I take it?" Rongfei spotted Yang Chao moving about with Biao in the corner of her eye. Something came to mind however about some other people. "Chang Wen and Si Yingxia are also here."

"That's nice." Rexford sipped his drink before going back to eating. 'Where in the blazes is Wei Ziqing? I wanted her to at least take these jewels to sell.'

"Grr, you can't be here to buy something by the way you eating instead of talking." Ranranw as annoyed he barely said much. Even more annoyed he only said something to Rongfei and not her. "Spent to much money on your clothes? If you are broke go home. In fact, where are you staying? Mom said you moved out of the house a few days ago."

"Ranran..." Rongfei could tell she was fishing for information about him but she was also really amped and going about it the wrong way. As if he had to tell her where he had been. It was weird and just wrong since she said she was against the engagement her moth and "Chen Fan's" mother wanted. "..slow down and try to be nicer."

"Ranran, talk to me like that again, and I will make sure to break your jaw." Rexford eyed her like an enemy. Her attitude was spoiling his meal. Bad enough he looked over and saw a lot of the shrimp was gone. He couldn't get seconds! "I have money more than your broke ass for one. Still haven't gotta off your ass and got a job yet huh? Damn, a shame how useless you are. How much longer will your parents have to wipe your ass when you get in trouble from dumb decisions?"

"You!" Ranran was both scared and enraged. After hearing about the fights he had with at the school, she was defintely wary of his fighting abilities as well as he would use violence so easily.

"We are in public.. you know that right?"

"What do I care." Rexford finished his water off. "I was ok with Rongfei sitting down while I ate just because. I didn't tell her to stop talking while I ate or anything. You, however, sat down on your own. Then started to cut into about shit you don't know. I have beaten the shit out of people for less."

"You didn't get any dessert, let me grab some for you!" Rongfei grabbed Ranran's hand to come with. She was pretty sure the teen would say something else and end up in the hospital from it. "You may want to take the time to leave during this time."

Ranran looked down at the floor as she was still trembling a little.

A few people knew who Rongfei was and watched the entire time she sat while a strange young man ate food. What was even weirder was that she was now fixing him a plate of food by the looks of it.

"Who on earth is this guy really?" The couple that speculates on Rexford earlier were unable to find anything out about him. "Maybe he is the son of a friend or something?"

"Hmm, I don't know dear." His partner looked over at the gathered folks who looked just as lost about him. "Oh!" She spotted a few celebrities and dragged her husband over.

"We should have introduced ourselves earlier." A gathered group of college students muttered. "That Xu Rongfei wouldn't do this for a nobody. "Got something. Look at this!" Showing her friends, the bulletin about "new student beats club ace" with ease made them all excitied.

"He goes to Ivy International High School but it says he is from Sishui County!" One said really excitied. She had a cousin that stayed there and would be able to get some dirt if need be. "Let me send a message to see if she knows anything about Mingyun Rexford!"

One of the females in the group went by the name Han Yun, she was the oldest in the group. When she was in high school, she fell in love with a boy from a poor family. They stayed together despite the outcry from her family. However, as soon as the couple entered university, everything that was bad could happen did happen. Then her partner left her for another woman.

'I can't let my juniors make the same mistake.' Han Yun was mostly hear to watch the younger teens from doing something stupid. She hoped against all odds that Xu Rongfei was not smitten with a country bumpkin. 'He looks to.. different to be from the outskirts.'

As a few people learned a little more about Rexford, a few other people were making it to the auction house. Some good, some bad.

"Guess send her message." Rexford alerted Wei Ziqing that he was currently eating in the dining hall and asked how much longer would she be. The response back made things a little difficult. "Entertaining some politicians.. how disgusting."

"What's disgusting?" Rongfei sat a plate down in front of Rexford with Ranran doing the same. "Ranran found some more shrimp for you to apologize from before."

"Can we.. can we just start over Chen Fan? I mean Rexford!" Like a moth to the flame, the teen couldn't help herself at all.

"I don't see why not!" A female voice called out. It was An Youya with Fang Qiong. Zhong Yaoyao, a friend of Fang Qiong who was a bit of a problem was also with them. Her teal hair actually caught the light just right that Rexford did a double look at her. "Are you bullying these girls Rexford?"

"Do more than bully if they piss me off. The same as you." He gave he an eye roll not really caring what she had to say. "As for starting over, sure. Why not. Just do not get in my way and things will be fine. Hmm?"

Yang Chao, and Biao were coming over. But looking a little worn out.

They had only been socializing for like 15 minutes!

"Came to give a small heads up." Yang Chao leaned in whispering to him. "A guy.. kind of like Si Yingxia is here. Unlike him though, Chu Minghai is a lot stronger and an actual Internal Fighter."

Despite whispering, Xu Rongfei heard everything.

"So... you want to fight him and beat him down, or should I?" Rexford asked. As he waited for an answer, he ate one of the cookies that Ranran picked. It was an oatmeal cookie. One of his favorites. Looking at Biao, he wonders what was eating at him.

"Haaa, Chu Minghai is close with the Wei's I think a small problem might form if we are not careful." Biao was sure the Wei's would side with them, but the military grooming done for Chu Minghai might change things up.
