Day 12-13 People and a Breakthrough Part 3

Making it to the lakeside area, Rexford was able to determine where the woman lived after asking around at the front desk. Collecting his few pieces of mail, he dropped the woman Chen Ying off. Not without marking her first with a talisman to track her whereabouts.

After that, he went home. Not even giving a second thought about An Youya. Instead of going inside, preparations were made to step into cultivation more. He couldn't slack off on all the knowledge taken after all.

He went outside getting to work laying down preparations for a big array. Working throught the night into the early morning.

Early Morning-

Rexford was currently carving into the side of the mountain near the villa. The mini having passed on several arrays that boosted cultivation besides the one he thought of indivdually and allowed for protection to him that needed to be implemented quickly.

Biao, Wei Ziqing, Yang Chao, and all the others were up top marking the areas as needed. With multiple people at work, it made for fast work. The serving women were exceptionally good at working this.

The others just happy to work on this and not the building demolishing.

More than trying to earn their keep to stay Rexford thought. Which was not a problem considering it provided more people to spar against for the others and himself. Plus.. the sex helped with the release. If they were intrested of course.

When he went inside, for a quick break, the case of the Dark Wine was stacked in a corner. Happy some was left, Rexford dropped a Spirit Enhancing Pill in each one then stored it in the wine cellar.

'All of Yangui Lake and the mountain energy will be used up to a great degree. But this array laid down will boost my cultivation quickly as well the second array sat up will draw qi for the future.' Rexford's plan was to swallow the qi in the area first then the second array would be powered by the qi from the Black Gold Vortex he couldn't absorb currently. Which would then power all sorts of spells for protection and illusions in the place. 'Already broke again from spending all that money, need to make for later. Then again.. it is still early. Need to get use to not having my contacts from my original life.'

*Crumble!* A foothold gave out a little. Knots, harnesses, and tie-ins were a usual must when climbing. None of those were present. Actual almost all protection was missing from Rexford at this time.

Scaling the side and carving into it with his bare hands was unbelievably exhilarating. Any bit of sweat was absorbed into the Black Gold Vortex so he didn't have to worry about slipping. Having been at it for hours, the sun beat on his back fiercely.

"Hey!" Wei Ziqing yelled from over the side. Seeing the shirtless Rexford hard at work gave her a funny feeling. The usual emotionally controlled young woman felt herself a little flustered. "Should you really be doing this without safety measures?"

"Hup!" Rexford jumped to the next marking place. He stabbed his toes and fingers into the sides. Each time he did so, a brief moment of pain was replaced by a tingly sensation. "Without safety measures.. heck no! I won't tell anyone do this myself. But I have experience.. and.." He looked up straight at her. As a cultivator, both of them could see each other clearly. ".. this is causing my body to react faster! The possibility of falling to my death is causing my soul to tingle!"

*Crumble!* With another stab of the hand, another marking was made linking the arrays to each other.

"I think he is an adrenaline junky." Sin Dova muttered. Having walked over taking a break from the preparation. The older woman was something to behold next to the younger woman, Wei Ziqing. "Tell me something, how in the world did you two meet?"

"Shouldn't you tell me how he met all of you first." It was more of a statement and not a question. Wei Ziqing felt danger from the woman she just didn't know why. "You and your friends can not possibly be students of his. Or do you know him from before he moved to the city."

"No need to be so guarded." Usually when someone said that, you defintely needed to guard yourself against them. "Just a few "serving" women having a little fun. Something tells me Reford is all about that kind of fun."

*Dush!* A large splash had but looking over the side to see if he fell. But Rexford was hanging upset down with his left foot still wedged into the side of the cliff.

A large chunk of the cliff had separated. The bad news, he would have to hold off on setting up the array. The good news it pointed out the cliff had some bad faults in it.

"Dammit!" Rexford flung himself forward Flippin into the new side opening. The hole was very large and was a definite threat to the stability of the villa up top. Let alone to any future renovations. "Take a moment.. defintely can do something with this."

Hearing the yelling up top, he took a few quick pictures with his phone then left. Climbing back up delicately, he slowly sent his qi through the cliffside looking for any other weak points.

Never occurred to him to have checked that way before starting the side work. But lesson learned.

Landing up top, the others had all gathered around after hearing the yelling. Rexford brushed his hair from his face. Then tied it into a ponytail right quick.

"I have to hold off on the side work for the array. Need to do some support work before continueing again."

"How bad is it?" Yang Chao asked.

"Luckily this was discovered before the array was activated. With the force it would have generated, I do not think it would have all gone to well." Disheartened, Rexford decided to take a break and go over some matters with everyone.

Wei Ziqing and Biao took upon themselves to make some calls for deliveries to work on getting the cliff reinforced. In a half hour, trucks rolled up with material and got to work.

Rexford oversaw everything and gave the two a hearfelt thanks for their help. Sin Dova and her people watched Rexford for a bit. Finding it odd he seemed to glow with a peacful sunny disposition currently.

One Step Further-

Late that evening, it was time to get put it all into motion.

Rexford was in an open area in the backyard. Yang Chao, Biao, and Ji Xingyu were watching a little freaked out by what he was going to do.

The serving women still were there. Enjoying the air more than anything else they found in the city. Having at least cleaned up the place with what little trash and dust was there in the house.

After applying some adjustments to the engravings from the memories of Chen Fan, he decided to apply it directly to something better than jade. No sense in using an item when there was something better. His very flesh itself!

*Slick!* A cut started to appear on his back. Forcing his body to weaken was the worse part. The control of "gravity" in the opposite direction of the Black Gold Vortex helped a lot. But it also caused intense pain to radiate through his body.

Nerve endings and his very soul screaming in pain.

While cuts formed, he used the control of "space" to spread the cells a little more. The knife was the guide and the space moving to make the image last.

"The first is to increase qi intake. Spirit Condensing Formation." Rexford started to use The Great Way of the Void Battling Immortal. His body coming alive on the guidance and nourishment provided by it. "The second to Enhance the power of the sun and its energies!"

Several Formations lit up in the area around the Villa. They were designed to block prying eyes out of the place and keeping any deitiy level inhabitants from looking over. A small window to do everything but it was better than waiting.

The sunshine was just a little brighter for a moment. The rich violent energy rush towards his body like a beacon. Burning into his flesh directly, Rexford lost his control on the gravity field.

Free from his control, his body started to repair itself.

*Chomp!* Rexford bit down hard onto the metal mouth guard. His teeth cracking a little with his gums cutting into his flesh deeper. It was not easy creating your own body art.

The fromation and arrays all lit up. The remaining qi around the mountain villa was completely swallowed up then poured into Rexford's Body. The moment it entered, strands of Gold & Black qi left from the Black Gold Vortex poured out into the none empty formation.

A large portion of the produced energy gathered from the debris and the junkyard left him. Phantom hands guiding into the formation to provide protection and ilusions to keep the place safe and hidden.

"He is .. crazy." Yang Chao muttered. The pain he experienced from cultivating so far was nothing. The pain inflicted from studying Muay Thai was still in the beginning stages for him. The idea of learning a body art more to add with his cultivation was not looking promising at all. "I.. don't think I am ready for this level."

"Not many are," Biao was not feeling that optimistic either. But he would still try to incorporate it himself. "You were such a hothead before, where did that enthusiasm go?"

"The same places his flesh is going. Away from him!" Ji Xingyu stopped him from getting to far. Lifting him by the scruff of the neck. "Forget what I said before, this is just self-torture!"

"It should be worth it." His voice was not that certain either. "His flesh.. is literally melting.. I think I am going to be sick!"

Black qi swirled into Rexford's bones. A gravity field erupted from the very earth pressing down on him. The soil started pouring into his body mixing with his bones and repairing it at a faster rate. Changing it from a stained white directly to a dark brown then a pitch black.

The immediate area around him lost temperature. Any warmth gravitated towards him before turning into a chill.

"GRoooooaaa!" Rexford let out a beastly howl. It sounded like a monster that crawled out of the primordial muck. Which was kind of true. His skin shined with gold qi as it returned. The exploded flesh that floated around gravtated back to him. "Wel..l.. that was something."

*Swish!* All of the sand in the immediate area pushed out creating a dust cloud. Biao and the others were not expecting it. But Sini Dova created a barrier to protect them.

"Much better though overall." Rexford's flesh restored around his face slowly. He looked like a horror show to them. Or roadkill if you wanted to be specific. "Ji Xingyu, bear with this." A pulse of exploding qi went towards him. "You won't die, don't worry. I won't allow it."

"Guu!" Ji Xingyu collapsed to the ground unable to scream at all. Booming noise erupted from his body like thunder. Bits of lightning then generated towards him from the surrounding air. As soon as the flesh exploded, it quickly reformed with rich qi. 'I just want to die!' His mind was a tingle along with his body.

Jerking about spastically like a seizure patient.

"Yeah.. know what boss.. I am just gonna leave. Ok.." Yang Chao turned tail and sprinted off. Unfortunately, he was just running with all his might on air. "I will come back next month when things are less crazy!"

No one had the heart to tell him he was going nowhere. This continued for about 20 minutes when he finally tired out and opened his eyes.

Before he could exhale from being tired, his mouth was filled with a dense substance. Stifling the need to throw up, he swallowed whatever it was down. In moments his mind was flooded with an intense liquid-like substance. Space distorted around him to keep from allowing screams out.

"Biao, you are the only one left." Rexford said calmly. His look left no room for discussion. "Fast as the wind you will be. Can you handle it is the real thing to think about." Intangible energy gathered around him. A slight breeze moving around the villa. "You will be the core out of you three. The primary part for the Qingdi Changsheng broken down into these new forms."

"I.. I understand!!" Biao knew their was no escape. But the chance to gain something like this was more than he could ever dream of. 'Even if he sends me away down the road, I will have this to fall back on!'

Biao didn't have to worry about that matter in the slightest. The air started to vibrate a little. On closer look, one could see water droplets circling around. Little prickles of hair on Biao's arm started to weigh down then flex back. As if carried on a simple breeze.

It was not just water and air, it was high-level condensed qi! Rexford had shrunk it down to the smallest bit possible. He still had a lot to learn about Gravity and Space.

"Blurgh!" Biao shook as the air engulfed him completely. With the various understanding of air and its uses to the right mind, he was able to take the information in better than the other two. Just small insights that could carry him much further than right now.

Internally Rich Qi was still churning away from the Black Gold Vortex. However, none of it dropped. Bound togethor from to much material put into it. The mini gave a small glance up in wonder.

"Well... gonna produce something that is unusable at this level. I wonder if a drop can kill someone?" The mini closed its eyes and went back to personal work. 'How much can I uncover before something bad happens about the Black Gold Vortex?'

*Crack!* Fractures at the spirtual level happen all over Rexford's being. He was stepping into the Transcendent Realm. The experience from his life on Earth made it easy. Knowing who he was made it easier to stepped through that threshold.

Biao, Yan Chao, Ji Xingyu were dead to the world. The Wei 3rd generation were completely engrossed in seeing everything take place in front of them.

Wei Ziqing breath was caught as she kept forgetting to breathe. Her resolve steady to make sure she does not fall behind. The silhouette of her inside Rexford's Internal Space feeling out more. Which in turn had the others connect to her fill out more.

The "youngest" Transcendent Realm had been born earth. However his body was currently in a state of repair from the new Body Art. His soul connecting with it to make everything synch.
