Day 34- 45 The Xu's Must pay A price, that simple Part 1

Rexford was out for his typical jog. The others all tending to personal matters for themselves and the starting business.

Han Yun had contacted in regard to what happen after he left. He couldn't help but laugh at the situation. He think the young woman and told her good work. All she wanted in return was to have a meeting with him in a few weeks. Which was easily done.

Having run for hours under the effects of the gravity field around his body, gave a few ideas about some techniques. Cultivation was such a large road.

A blue sedan pulled up to the side as a man in a suit rolled down the window.

"Mr. Mingyun, my boss wants to.." His words floated in the air as Rexford took off in a sprint across the street. "You little punk!" The driver sped up to follow him.

Any time he was close, Rexford just increased his speed. The driver would then increase speed to keep tabs on him. Rexford took a turn causing the driver to swerve from hitting a few people.

As the chase commenced, Rexford had taken out his phone and notified the police some people in cars were chasing him. With the close calls the drivers had so far, quite a few people had called in reporting the situation.

Seeing an unidentifiable young man running for his life made people scared. Which resulted in a lot of accidents from seeing him pursed by men in suits. Especially men who didn't have government plates.

During this time the only odd person Rexford ran into was a purple-haired woman coming out of a medicinal shop. He was trying to arrange a meet-up with her for the longest. But now with a few car nearby he had to boggie. So he dropped a card in her shirt pocket and gave her a pat on the cheek.

Much to the annoyance of the people with her. But they were not stupid enough to think he was a normal man.

This would cost Xu Ao a pretty penny.

They play cat and mouse for few hours. Not stopping until at least 35 people were arrested. With Wei Fu calling him personally about the matter. Rexford played dumb for the most part. And considering how Wei Ziqing said he left the birthday with out creating an incident their was nothing to go on.

Xu Ao called in a favor to Wei 3rd who earned a business venture out of it. Making his brothers more than jealous. Rexford finally made it to the location that the so called Master of Jianbei wanted to meet.

Yangui Lake-

A furious Xu Ao stared out at the water. Seeing Rexford finally arrive he calmed just a bit. He was conflicted if he was really the Master known as Mingyun. But the information he received from his people didn't match what he found on Chen Fan from his daughter.

Xu Rongfei at least knew not to divulge that information after her father showed a keen interest. Even more so with him trying to arrange for her to date Chu Minghui.

A ticked-off daughter was about as dangerous as a loving daughter.

"Caused me some trouble young man." Xu Ao had his hands behind his back. Thinking the situation was under his control despite the variables. 'More composed than some high schooler, but no matter.'

"You caused yourself trouble." Rexford smirked. A playful look on his face. His eyes darted to the few men scattered about. "Only 10 guys, guess I should have run around more. It was such a fun workout."

Not only did he understand a bit more about Space due to the close chances while dodging vehicles, but Rexford also gathered a great bit of Fear qi. So much that he felt an advancement in his cultivation.

The 10 guards were a little shocked. Especially since some were in sniper positions hidden far away.

"Oh was it worth it for your business though?" Xu Ao was not amused.

"Go after my business, and I go after yours. Trust me, I am better at it." Rexford's smirk turned feral. He raised his hand up sending a finger bang at the man. "Your close workers, friends, family members all end up dead if they had a hand in it. You have a 10-year-old son produced from that business deal I hear? Is it genuine affection or nah?"

"You punk!" Xu Ao didn't like the threat or the insinuation. But he couldn't take Rexford out after what just happened. All eyes would be on him and there was the military who were interested in him as well. His checks into Rexford had to much to piece together. "If you were a real man you would leave them out of this."

"A real man uses everything at his disposal. No one is safe." He walked to the man getting face to face. "Didn't you.. well no, you are currently using that current wife of yours to get what you want. Damn shame if your ex-wife would have killed herself. Can you imagine how that would have hurt Xu Rongfei?"

"She is not that weak!" The thought never crossed his mind actually.

"Hehe, sure she is not." Rexford chuckled amused. "But I tell you what, I will give you a few days to think about what you have done. If I am satisfied I won't do anything. Even forget you trying to "pick" me up to talk."

"Humph!"

"It is something easy. Just divorce your current wife and marry your first wife." Rexford clapped his hand like it was the most simplest thing. "If you love her, put a ring on it and show the world you made a mistake with the second wife."

"You are crazy!"

"Debatable." Rexford shrugged turning away. "Not even a bit of hesitation. I knew you loved the business more than your family. That we have in common. Well, mine is fifty fifty. ."

"Stay away from my daughter!" Xu Ao shouted. "Or else don't even think about setting up in any of the Provinece! Or any of them for that matter"

"Hahaha, tell her to stay away from me! I gave all the reasons to keep her away! The rest is on you!" Rexford took off into a sprint. Going back to exercising. "To crush his business.. how fun will it be." Rexford looked back evily. He gave his chops a lick at the very prospect of destroying an entire business network and taking it for himself. The amount of fear and violence generated from it would serve him well. "Enjoy your last peaceful days.. little man."

The Gold Qi, the Destiny shared between himself and Xu Ao originally came into him in droves. With the fact, he acted against him and not placate him in any way went a long way. As well as the fact he took a lot of it from Xu Rongfei.

That Evening-

Rexford received a few calls to take care of the Xu Ao problem. The first was Zhuo Tinhao. Worried about the upcoming matches that determine the power structure in Jianbei. He even did a Skype call.

"Xu Ao is a problem and his wife a bigger one. He has caused all sorts of trouble for 3rd master Wei. Only a small bit of my expansion has been pushed back so far." Zhuo Tinhao leaned back in a chair as they discussed. "From what Biao has told me, you will be involved in some matters coming up. Want to make sure you will be at a big one."

"If it is the Underground Match where the bosses in Jianbei divide the spheres of influence up, then yes." Rexford answered. "If bets can be made, make sure you arrange some. Place some good ones on myself and on Biao."

"That is great!" Zhuo Tinhao was hoping that he would say that. He even borrowed some money to help makie these bets and would get a little more to have a few more bets that wager entire properties. "I know you need funds and property so I will make sure to look out for any good ones."

Finishing the particulars, the two ended the call. The second call was with the Wei Family.

"Xia Qi, long time no chat." Rexford stopped at a store. Looking at the different commercials playing. One for his tv series was currently on. Relaunch of Power Rangers but set in China. Since only the Mighty Morphin series was purchased from Disney, he started from there. With cultivation effects instead of special effects to help build suspense and sell the action. "What are you needing?"

Xio Qi: Mr.Rexford, the Wei Family has obtained a few herbs and want to do some business. This time however, do you have any pills that help with bone growth?

"I do but they take twice as many herbs and require some additional components. Oh, wait.." Rexford thought about substituting a few things to make up for certain herbs. It was after all the age of science. "Send me a list of what you have and I will send you a list of what else I need. Then deliver it to the villa."

Xiao Qi: Of course, I will send it now. Now the second matter.

Rexford read the herbs over taking note they were the same as before with a few unknown ones to him at first glance. He then sent back a list of items to pick up from a drug store. Wanting large quantities to make up for the herbs.

"I sent back what I need." Rexford was sure this would work as substitutes. After all, the modern person was more use to pharmaceuticals. At worse the effectiveness would be less and would require them to tweak it some.

Xiao Qi: The Underground Fights, the Wei Famly as well as the Masters of Chuzhuo will be there. To help build the reputation of the Ansatsuken, they will not overall interfere." Xiao Qi held his breath waiting if there was any outrage coming or protests from Rexford.

'So far so good.'

"That is fine. They are even free to disagree if they want. I must stand on my own in the beginning then stand on top to show worth." Rexford smiled as he knew this would most likely happen. "Do place some bets for me though."

Finishing up with Xiao Qi, Rexford then called Wei Ziqing. She was the most reluctant to go through with not assisting during the coming matters. Despite knowing Rexford was a Transdence Realm fighter.

Wei Ziqing: I just think we should get involved to help act as a deterrent.

"I understand but this also help for later. No one will say we stood on our own and when the business comes out more into the opening in the future, it will help sell certain matters."
