Day 150- 200 Sishui County Part 22 Valley of the Medicine God

Moving through the trees and the forest, Richard smiled at the beauty of it. A drone took pictures in every direction causing a little discomfort for Jinyi of the Medicine God Valley. Despite her annoyance, she could not do anything against them on her own.

Elder Qi Zhengyan had long been pacified and by the looks of his attitude, he was fully in the support of Richard and company despite Jinyi's protests. Not only were those who came with her already changed sides, but the display of two powerhouses such as Richard and Rexford made her worried about the Medicine God Valley's future.

But she could do nothing but get word to the other Elders that Rexford was deep in Cultivation, and this was the perfect time to attack the latter and the backlash could be dealt with later.

'At least it is just him and these two low comers. If more would have come this may go really bad.' Jingyi grumbled internally. Out of everyone on the Medicine God Valley side, she was the only one thinking of them benefitting. The others fell in line with the Elder Qi completely to Richard. 'It must have something to do with the marks he placed on their heads!'

Thinking over the brief infinity symbol over a letter M she saw that had to be the case. Maybe he was controlling them she thought but that didn't explain why he even fought against Elder Qi beforehand.

Wei Lan, Yang Chao, Miao Xiaoqian, and Jiang Churan went to the Diamond Temple with its people. Churan was to guard Miao Xiaoqian while Wei Lan handled the talks of working together. Yang Chao was her second in this matter. Miao Xiaoqian was to do her job as a Chronicler and get notes on the places History and the "Lore" of the surrounding area.

Wei Ziqing and Chang Wen wanted to know more about Rexford's past and Richard was the best way to do so. They already questioned him nonstop after he received his payment of a "palm reading" from them.

Of course, he didn't tell them that he took their entire History of who they were up to that point, which boosted his energy a large deal for use later.

"Such a nice set of samples." Richard compared soil samples to those taken from the Dragonball Multiverse Dimension during a brief break. 'Weird traces compared to back there but more nutrient-heavy. However.. density is less overall.'

His scientific questioning was building up once more.

"You are an odd one." Jingyi had taken a more humble tone after seeing this foreigner beat the various members at the conference during a brief training break. But unlike what she heard in regards to the attack against the group previously, during the conference none died this time by the Ansatsuken who deserved it. 'If we can partner with them, would the Valley truly grow to be dominant in the Region?'

Mind full of twisting thoughts she couldn't make up her mind.

Pulling out a piece of Thunderstruck Wood she managed to trade for it was best to gain a little advantage. If the other one Rexford got did so much maybe this one would as well.

"What?" Richard held the branch and took in its History in a matter of seconds. 'Another Divine Tree that failed Tribulation into the next Realm, how unfortunate. This would be a better item for Rexford still and not myself though for further use.'

"Elder Qi.. he obeys you like a revered master... I don't know what you did to him but can you set him free?"

"No, it is his blessing to work for me. Besides, does he not look happy?" Richard nodded he understood this was something that bothered the girl. But they should not have tried to strong-arm him or strong-arm Shen Shengeki. "Oh, how about I make you stronger in exchange?"

"You could do that?" Jingyi took a step back as she already saw a few miracles caused by him. 'Will I be stronger than my sister disciple?!'

Richard placed his hand on top of her head and Unlocked her Potential. Unlike in his previous Dimension, the people it was used on fainted from the abrupt increase in energy, but he was able to tell the scope of their current attainment right then and there. Without the use of medicines or a different cultivation source as factors.

Unknown to everyone, Richard placed the Timebreaker Mark on this Medicine Valley member as well. A nice sleeper agent for long-term plans just in case. She did increase in strength and was currently in the beginning stages of the Foundation Establishment stage of the Qi Refinement Realm.

The fluctuations of Qi energy had the guard that patrolled the area honing in on the location quickly. Elder Qi already took the lead as Jingyi was carried by one of her people.

Sun Wudi, from the Xing Yi Sect, was under the control as well. But had more freedom since he fought against Richard in bouts to a good degree for overall exposure. But as far as everyone was concerned the man was just going with to assist the Medicine God Valley and himself.

After stepping into the Realm of a Transcendent Master, all of his abilities had returned for use and his body increased to a better degree. His growth in Immortal-based Qi was interesting with the use of his Dark King Aura as the manual further in terms of growth. So many techniques to mold his Cultivation Manual from what Rexford and so many others he took in since being here.

"Meng Tian, these are guests seeking to do business. We are heading inside now." Elder Qi kept walking not caring if he understood or not. He was still an elder of standing despite losing. "You will do well not to cause trouble for any of them."

Taken back, the guard thought it unusual that he was so respectful to the one who defeated him. Observing Richard, Meng Tian kept his mouth shut the same as all the other guards. Seeing the floating drones, they wondered what they were doing.

They also wondered what could be planned but not enough to voice it out.

The floating black balls with the dark red lenses were so quiet they only heard noise when they brushed against stuff. Which was pretty rare actually, unless taking samples. Stepping through the mountain pass led to a large landscape that resembled Mount Pazou beside the old Chinese temple and stuff. The air was nice but the number of insects was not doing the place any good.

"Hmm, better to help the environment a little." Had outstretched, a ball of Qi formed before shooting out no bigger than the size of needles in various directions. "Decent longevity at least."

With each dead bug, he absorbed them. The very essence increases the Aspect of Longevity a good margin for later use. he needed to restock from the use the previous day. The corpses of course were pulled into the drones which would be put into his Internal Space for later.

Afterall, Rexford gained from stuff getting thrown into his Black Gold Vortex.It was getting hard to gain control of the various landfills as someone started fighting against them to get the property. A small slow down for Rexford's plans but as long as they gained control of them in a year or to it would work in their favor.

"Hmm!?" Jingyi stirred as she woke up. "I have a really bad feeling about something!" Getting out of the disciple's hands she was unsteady like a newborn deer.

*Tap! Tap!* A woman with a beauty mark on her face came running towards her like a wild puppy. Despite being an elder, she didn't care in the least about her image. She grabbed her sister Jinyi checking her over for any damage or worse.

These two sisters of the Zho family were still close despite everything they had been through. No backstabbing like a few others or leaving the other to fend for themselves.

Most eyes were on Richard who moved about the place in an unusual way. Taking turns and touching the ground for a few moments then shaking his head and moving to another spot doing the same.

"The Seven Malice Poison Array underneath is damaged." Richard moved around to an old patch of stone as his eyes glowed red. Tracing a finger over a few positions that were invisible to low-level cultivators, he rechecked the Formation Lines. "Time-consuming to fix it but it is definitely doable."

As he moved, he slowly let his cultivation out and used his Senses to penetrate the Barriers and Protection in the place. Slowly his red tail popped out with his Qi creating a nexus of energy around like an atom.

"Gulp!" Several people never felt the power of A Transcendent before. Let alone one like this with rich Qi wafting outward. A few of the elders who thought of causing trouble completely backed down at that moment.

"Elder Qi.. who is this foreigner?"

"My Master and an officer of Ansatsuken, he is not as violent as the Master Rexford but.. he is different and very cruel after someone fails to understand when a chance was given to them. Tread lightly."

Wei Ziqing felt she was falling behind, something about Richard scared her even though her cultivation was deeper. Chang Wen just nodded as this was perfect for her future lovers' friends.

No way would they be weak. She rubbed her chin in a calculating look. A mental note to speak with Churan in fighting in a spar against them both later to see how well they fight together.

"Found it." Richard stopped at the key weak point of the formation. Placing his hand over it, he could destroy it in one go or start repairing it. "Get the items on this list and we will fix this and pass over the Physique Pill Formula with the Spirit Enhancing Pill Formula."

It took less than a minute for the elders to agree after the shock faded away. The few samples they acquired from their people proved the worth of such formulas. Of course they would have to figure out what they would have to give in exchange.

The various elders came out to discuss after the Formation was taken care of and the Formulas were verified. They had a bad feeling about the situation overall but they were in a bit of a bind as Richard did not get weaker after 

"My brother wants the Medicine God Valley to grow but this can only happen if they fall under the Ansatsuken." Richard materialized a chair and sat in it out what they believed to be strictly Qi. The Roman numeral of two was there at the top embolden in black and red. With a small tap of his fingers, a wave of bloodshed and over-engulfing pressure weighed down the entire valley. "I would like to do this peacefully and I did tell my new disciple you are all worth letting live. If you obey of course."

"Tch!"

*Woom!* A higher increase of overall pressure engulfed the Valley up to the outer forest area. Even the mountains began to shake from his outburst of power. Besides Chang Wen, everyone else was forced to prostrate on the ground.

"Damn you!" Wei Ziqing grumbled as she fell to her knees. 'The gulf in our strength is this high!' Bitter and ashamed she looked at Chang Wen side-eyed in surprise. The prominent female of the Wei Family never felt such a feeling before. 'How is she unaffected!?'

Chang Wen did not let the feeling of such pressure affect her. Her mood was tranquil and any conflicting thoughts induced by the negative energy pushed out in every direction of her immediate vicinity did nothing. The bathing in the Cold Qi also helped nourish her a little.

The difference between solid focus and juggling multiple issues was starting to show. Wei Ziqing had a better starting position but she had more family responsibilities to deal with compared to Chang Wen who has her situation only improved as time passed. Plus she had direct access to Rexford who had more ways of cultivation than he could actually implement. 

A small rivalry was brewing with only one person actually aware it was taking place.
