Day 150- 200 Sishui County Part 19 Business Deals

As the member of the Lu Family gave his input in regards to the Martial Arts Gathering, Rexford was only concerned about profit gains at this time. Next to the young man of the Lu Family, the older male from the Li Family in Qingteng, by the name Li Yizen stood by. The other was Lady Jingyi of the Medicine God Valley who as his memory served was a bit of a pain in the ass to deal with.

The first was not something to worry about in the least and the latter with the access to the various Medicines would go a long way to increasing his forces' garden growth. 

A few seeds from the various plants and herbs combined with his Rich Qi from the Black & Gold Vortex would go a long way. Not to mention what could be pulled by Richard or Sini Dova's people coming into their own.

It took a few more moments of squawking before people started to do trades and transactions comfortably. A lot of guarded talks unless they spoke with people they were familiar with of course.

With his people in attendance and himself there to sell, Rexford's booth drew attention quite quickly. A few words of mouth planted in the crowd help draw interest faster.

A few happily took the one sample they had to try right then and there causing a scene. The brown and green pills made from traditional Chinese Medicine mixed with Spirit Enhancing and Body Enhancing formulas went over well.

The sample sizes were no bigger than tic tacs though.

Commercialized, Rexford grinned as the regular folk could benefit from these as a Multi-Vitamin, and cultivators could improve their foundations. Modern applications worked so much better in his opinion.

"These cannot just be in this size?" A woman asked while looking over her arms that itched a little. 'My old scratches are fading even more than before from the use of ointments, how many of these little things would I have to consume for them to disappear?'

"I say, little sister let me try a few more." Li Yizhen reached for another but he was denied. Thinking his status would help him, the man was denied once more but shamelessly kept on. "I just want to take another taste to guarantee its potency."

"It doesn't work that way." Shen Shengki shut him down really quickly with authority. "You can purchase the regular product if you want to have more Samples, these are just that, samples."

Putting on her best saleswoman smile with a straight face, she did not budge. Even with the whispering of others in the crowd. They couldn't believe she was not giving way to an elder. It begged the question of who she could really be. What backing could she have to be defiant like this most thought?

Rexford said nothing as he observed the situation all over. The market was different than his previous life a little due to customs and the Dimension being different but everyone spoke the language of free and cheap rates. Even more so when they thought they got a good deal.

With no room for haggling, Li Yizen instructed the others to try some samples but not to skimp on their deducting of the benefits. If it was really only one person then they had to have a taste all around.

It didn't take long before they understood the samples were really good. The only thing they were regretful about was the processing taste that attributed to the product.

That was done purposefully of course as the everyday person expects that in their pills. As for the full-on cultivation pill itself, it wouldn't have the aftertaste. The target audience was also the more traditionalists.

"Haa..." Li Yizen talked it over with his fellows before sighing heavily. "this has the potential to be a top-grade pill. Both body improvement and spiritual improvement."

The crowd became rowdy as more people started to come over.

"If there is any expert who can lay hands on these, I'm afraid that they will be able to thoroughly transcend the outer and the inner limits!" Li Yizen's words were hard to believe for some who doubt a simple "tic-tac" size pill could do that. 'Who the hell developed this!?'

"I say, sell them to me!"

"I was here first, let me get my order in!"

"What about bigger pills or large shipments?!"

Shen Shengki stopped the situation before it got out of hand. Showing her growing skill as a seller. She was firm but made sure to make eye contact with everyone, unbowed in her resolve against the more experienced people.

"These are for everyday people to help ease aches and pains while recovering." Waving her hands to get them to settle she pulls a suitcase from underneath the table. "We have varying varieties of the full pill to help increase cultivation needs for practitioners."

"Not only does the pill improve the growth of the External Martial Artist, but helps with the recovery of old wounds." Chang Wen spoke happily to advertise the product. Besides her disposition as a young refined woman, her cultivation was showing results in her physical bearing. "Also can help with mental pressure accumulated from stress. Though the effect is not miraculous it does help enough to see a difference."

The crowd started to murmur and get loud in anticipation. The suitcase did not have a lot and that was a cause for alarm.

*Thunk!* Waiting a little bit, more suitcases were pulled from under the tables and opened. Showcasing a decent supply of products.

The line was qued up with the bottles filled with the tic tac sized pills sold for 1000.00 a bottle with 90 pieces. The actual full-on pills were sold for 100,000. with 30 pills inside. Yet the people could tell you could just cut the pills up to make it more worthwhile.

Shen Shengki made it clear they were sold cheaply to make it affordable to get people used to them but would increase for the regular market. These were just the Debut price really and to draw in the client base.

"If you can afford it, we do have the more expensive products for sale but it comes with a warning." Taking out a small pill box, she revealed a Vortex Spirit Enhancing and Vortex Body Enhancing pill. The fragrance alone caused a few to shudder or get light headed. "The best craft version of these products, part of the exclusive Vortex line.."

"One million!" A monk shouted out stepping forward aggressively. He was not a fool and with only one visible and no more being pulled out he was not willing to miss the chance. "If the pill is as potent as I think it is, I will surely pay you more! I doubt anyone here can pay higher than me!"

Shen Shengki looked at Rexford to see if he had anything to say but he kept the same just as he said he would. Meaning this was all in her hands to deal with.

"Like I said before, this is just the debut price. So for you, we are willing to sell it to you at the price of a million." Closing the box she gestured to some of her cousins to take out smaller boxes of different products. "Do not be discouraged everyone, we have different products and variants for sale."

The ratio of pills created with regular fruits and vegetables mixed in had to be on the market as well. The only thing they had in common of course was that bits of Rich Qi were used in the process. A very small amount that made the fruits and veggies richer and had the natural effects boosted.

The crowd started to get rowdy as the different products and descriptions were like a dream. They were used to places like the Medicine God Valley having a monopoly on Pills or products desperately needed. But with the smell of manufacturing mixed into the pills, it brought hope that regular people could make it as well.

This could be a small threat to the Medicine God Valley but the quantity of the higher-up pills in short supply bought them time. That was their hope at this time anyway.

'I will have to report this to the Masters, just in case.' Lady Jingyi of the Medicine God Valley had a bad feeling about this, especially seeing the friendly banter between the members of the Ansatsuken staff with the people. 'Humph! Someone new comes along and this is what happens, they gather around like vultures!'

Her natural arrogance was still there but it was dashed away a moment later as those who travelled with her came over holding a pill bottle. their expressions said it all.

"I can feel my cultivation rising rapidly!" The disciple stated after consuming a pill on the spot. She used her own money to acquire the pill and only had to flirt a little bit to get a limited pill on the side. "Oh! It's so good!"

Jingyi was about to reprimand her fellow disciple, but the smell of the pill hit her hard. It was so fragrant and lingered with a type of mist around it. The very complexion and bearing of her sister's disciple improved on the spot.

"Oh, that guy next to Master Rexford is quite the man." One of the disciples who learned who Rexford was spoke fondly of Richard. "Is that where you got those pills from sister?"

"Yes... he only held my hand while giving me the bottle. Told me I should be really careful because these Essence Pills are really strong." Her cheeks were a little ruddy as she never had a man hold her hand like that before. 

The disciples were unaware that Richard did that to obtain all the information he could about the Medicine God Valley. Her History was good enough that the other Champion could build a further profile to help deal with them better.

Not to mention help him determine who was worthwhile on the disciple level.

In a few hours, all the wares were sold with quite a few orders placed for more. The crowd was quite happy that each was given a membership card for being first-time customers with a QR catalog code of what they would selling in the future. A full price list had them gobsmacked as the price for the mass-produced didn't increase much besides putting a tax amount on there.

The actual full pills without the manufactured price was what they expected for the prices of such pills. Some even wondered why the cost was not even higher. The pills labeled from the Vortex line were extremely expensive and had a long production date.

The monk who purchased the Vortex pill had placed it in water after Chang Wen suggested it to him. Sipping it afterward, he felt the power was too much for him even still. He made a note to dilute it even further before use.

Seeing this, the Li Family tried to make connections with Rexford. But he was directed to speak with Shen Shengki instead so as to not mess up the situation as a whole. The Li family would have to go through her no matter what.

"I see." Slightly embarrassed, Li Yizen corrected himself and turned to the younger woman to speak. "As a representative of the Li Family, I would like to invite Ms.Shen to be a guest of the Li Family."

"I.. accept. Hopefully, we can have a friendly discussion in regards to business moving forward." Composing herself, Shen Shengki straightened up quickly. A few members of the Ansatsuken would go with her of a higher level of course for security. "I have much to talk about with someone from the Li Family."

Not wanting them to lose out, Lady Jingyi had her sister disciple approach Richard with an offer to become a guest. Much to the young woman's surprise he gave her a grin while accepting it easily. Even a slight flirtation in the process.

"Try not to eat the young woman up, I here tell there are a number of beauties in the Medicine God Valley." Rexford held back a chuckle next to his friend. It was in fun as this should help with acquiring that faction. "You do need to build your family up as well brother."

"Yeah, you do have the majority of the good ones already." Richard played along and made sure the young woman accepted he would definitely give it his all. "I am sure we can have a good.. relationship between our groups."

Some of the envious members of the crowd couldn't help but voice their opinions on the matter.

"If I can enter it, it would be difficult to turn into a dragon with my skill as a Martial Artist." Gripping the bottle of tic-tac pills tightly he really wished he could have gone to the Medicine God Valley.

The young Patriarch of the Lu Family did not like this at all. Remembering the inquiries and discussions he had with Lu Yanwu he grinned. A plan that was as simple and straightforward he would put it into play.
