chapter five

Deo

I haven't lighted this damn fireplace in forever. I'm only doing this becouse she asked me to do that, I'm not a person taking orders form anyone other than my soulmate. Huff. I'm soo tired out of my breadth searching for a goddamn piece of firewood, and in this freaking winter I wasn't ready for something like this to collect some FIREWOOD. And finally I found some at my basement on an ancient cabinet. Why would I put firewood in a palce like that? I went back to my living room and lite up the fireplace. Just when I was putting last piece i heard her little footsteps coming towards me.

"It's so warm now," her melodic voice reached my ears. I slowly turned around to take her breathtaking little form. Trust me I never have seen something like that in my whole being. In oversized clothes she looks so cute, what an adorable little angel she is. My heart stopped for few second absorbing all her calming presence. Like she melted away all the thick shards of ice surrounded my heart. I know from deep down in my damned heart I won't let go. "Deo, are you okay?" Her waving little hands in front of me brought me back to present.

"Yeah , uh- how's the shower?" Goddammit Deo, what the hell are you asking? As I could see I've been acting more embarassing myself than I was ever before.

"It was super cool" she was so excited about my shower hmm."I wish i could have something like that in my bathroom too." she murmured tucking wet strand of hair away from her flushed face. How I wish that I could do that simple act for the rest of my life.

"Hey, stay here I'll make something for you to eat." I gestured to the couch. I couldn't stop myself from stopping before my hands placed on her warm delicate shoulders. She was startled by sudden touch, but after a second she relaxed and got comfortable. I have my next task preparing something to eat for her. I have survived past month by takeouts,  Mrs.Genny retired to look after her grandkids. And thanks to my great kichen skills I coul only make simple mac n cheese. Guess what I have to make that tonight too. Anyways I have my GIRL to impress. When I was taking out all the ingredients out of the cabinet, I felt warmth of my little soulmate behind me.

"Deo, I will cook." When I turned to look at her she was already starting to fill water to the pot. And here, I'm waching her little form dancing around my kitchen. I felt so serene soo at peace watching my other half moving around me making me engulfed in her heavenly scent. I took that in greedily my inner demon shuffeling back at my mind stumbling around to claim her as his. It's not only him though I could asure that much.

It didn't took much of time for her to make us food, now my whole kitchen swallowed by heavenly mac n cheese smell.

After food was served I decided to ask some questions in my mind swirling around since I first saw her. "Hey I was wondering what were you doing just outside the school?" I mean she was twenty one for all I know, maybe a teacher or school staff, I wanna know.

"Oh I teach science for seniors, you have to beileve me they are bunch of wild animals hollaring through classe, we didn't act that much reckless when we were young. Some are funny tough." And suddenly she started to blush. I couldn't help to fall deeper for her.

"Science huh you must be really smart."  I can clearly make out she's so shy."Noo, I just loved science since I was little"she replied.

"So what do you do?" she asked curiously. "Make a guess first" When I said that Sam was thrilled. I never knew someone just get hyper just for guesssing my job.

"You must be a buisnessman probably or a Lawyer if not." I watched how her eyes shine when she was excieted. All these little things she do without knowing make me realise that I don't deserve someone so angelic.I could probably taint her little fluffy cloud around her head with all the sins I have commited. I know I coldn't stop ,I am a demon. I might have to protect her from my own demon.

"Not exactly right. I own three pharmaceutical companies around europe." she had face full of admiration.

"I have a question. How old are you?"

"I'm twenty five. " Now she looked more amazed. "You are only three years older than me and you have already achieved so much in your life." And I was little disappointed in myself for lying about my age. But I have to or else I would have the supernatural council at my tail.  

Dinner came to the end.Sam as tired I lead her towards the guest room.Eventhough my demon screamed inside to make her sleep in my room my bed , beside me. Where she really belong. But the rational part of my brain let out shit load of logics to let her sleep on her own. I have to surrender for everything to make her comfortable.
