Before Mona could complain, he suddenly halted his hands' movement.

"Get off." He said coldly.

His sudden change in tone caused Mona to feel scared. She hurriedly got off of him and stood behind him like an actual maid.

Meanwhile, Seal sat there, frozen and shocked by his actions.

'What the f*ck was that? Why did I touch her like that? Moreover, I don't even like this woman!'

'I told her to sit on my lap to humiliate her, and that was it. I wasn't planning on doing anything else. In fact, she's one of the characters I hate the most in the book!'

He wasn't trying to get her as his woman, no way. He was trying to destroy that arrogant altitude of her by making her wear maid clothes. But he also felt bad for her since she was made to be a s*x doll for Modes. Not that it mattered to him.

Devour: The power to take away others' powers. It doesn't matter if that being is dead or alive. Does require contact with the victim to work. The devouring speed depends on the gap in strength. It is impossible to devour the powers of those who are more powerful.

Why could he still use the system's features? That's because he found out that he still had access to the system even though the one who usually speaks to him wasn't there. It was basically a system without an AI.

He found out because he accidentally opened the Quest interface while thinking about when a new quest would come out.

Although he could still use all the system's features, he couldn't rely on the system anymore. He only has himself to rely on when he is in a perilous situation.

Back to the present, Seal opened his status and inspected it thoroughly. The two things that caught his eyes were the Race section and the newly acquired power Devour.

He realized that his race changed from Human? to God. Its meaning was evident enough. He had become a god just like those almighty beings!

But for some reason, instead of feeling excited, he felt depressed. He felt like him getting stronger will get him nowhere on what he really wants.

Yes, his goal might be to get stronger, but it was also to find his family. And look where it got him, he became strong, but he still hasn't found a clue about his family's whereabouts.

During the past few months, he has been asking the system about his family's whereabouts. But all it gave him was that they were alive and doing well in another world.

He already knows that they are alive and well since he knew that they were strong women and wouldn't succumb to anything easily.

'Now is not the time to think about.' Seal sighed.

He looked over the Race section one last time and concluded that it might be responsible for his weird actions. Though he could be wrong and it could be an entirely different thing.

'It seems like I need to be careful of my actions in the future.' Seal thought seriously.

Just as he was about to check out his new power, he noticed something shocking from the corner of his eyes.

It naturally the three veiled women who weren't inside the book.

The veil might've covered their face, but Seal could see right through it.
