{Meanwhile...}

A loud explosion is heard in the distance. The knights, the citizens, and especially Thompson were startled, causing panic.

"What was that? Is there a monster nearby?" Thompson thought as he rushed out of the tavern. He then noticed a strange light and the people looking up in the sky. He also looked into the sky and his eyes widened and his mouth agape at the sight.

What he sees is a blazing fireball rising, lightning sparking, and thunder roaring in the distance.

"Holy shit..." Thompson said in shock. "Did Kain do this? Or is it one of his monsters?"

Then a swarm of smaller weaker monsters ranging from J to F, came from the direction where the explosion erupted.

"Hey, the forest is burning!" one citizen yelled, pointing. Thompson ran to the tower to see a glow in the distance, billowing smoke and cinders. He then look down at the soldiers and brave citizens alike start running towards the fire to extinguish it or at least contain it.

"Kain...help is on the way. Just hang in there." Thompson thought, hoping that one certain person survives.

{Now...}

After the explosion stopped, I got out of the shadows of a fallen tree that has been scorched black. I looked around to see a forest burning as far as my eyes can see. Some trees fall to the ground as the grass has also been scorched bare.

I travel through the burning rubble and found Ground Zero that I created. The solid rock turned into magma and the crater of the meteor was shown.

"Arex, Saeva, Mirtis, Mavros, Vampa, Burya. Come on out." I said.

*Bwing!*

*Fwoom!*

*Shooom!*

Arex came into the realm in a blinking light and Saeva walked out of a burning pile of burning wood unaffected. Mirtis and Mavros walked out of the shadows too.

*Shoom!*

Hyoran came out of the shadows near me and the scent of ash and smoke assaulted her senses.

"Agh! The smoke and ash!" Hyoran coughs and closes her eyes as it is overwhelming her. Blinded by the heat and smoke, she tripped over an edge towards the burning rocks.

"Eeek!" Hyoran yelped, but I managed to grab her arm and pull her back to relative safety.

"Careful, we don't know what's down there yet." I said.

"Is the big bandit dead?" Hyoran said.

"Even if he did awaken, he'd be at death's door. I mixed Fire, Lightning, Wind, and Light 40 times, there's no way he'd walk out unscathed." I said. If he truly did survive, we'll finish him off.

"System, is Zaneth dead?"

[Checking....]

While my system is checking for Zaneth, I took the opportunity to get Hyoran safe as this forest is unfavorable to Beastkins as the ash, smoke, and the sounds of flames messes with their hearing and smell.

"Zala." I said.

*Shoom!*

Zala jumped out of the shadows and I doused Zala with my Water Magic to make her less likely to catch fire.

I doused Hyoran with Water Magic where the cloak prevented her clothes getting wet.

"You're protecting me from the fire?" Hyoran asked.

"Yeah, all of this around you is messing with your senses." I said.

Hyoran jumped onto Zala and then we felt a presence far worse than a Adolescent Dragon and a Forest Guardian. Zala became uneasy, Hyoran felt a great chill rushing throughout her body along with her face becoming pale.

Saeva began growling, Arex summoned swords of light, and Mavros and Mirtis stand ready for battle.

"W-w-what was that?" Hyoran's voice trembled.

[Attention. Target Zaneth is still alive.]

[Danger! An immensely powerful target detected!]

Shit, I failed to stop his awakening!

"Hyoran, Zala, get away from here as soon as possible." I said in a serious tone.

"What about--" Hyoran was about to finish, but we don't have time.

"Go now! Don't look back!" I yelled, startling her. I patted Zala's thigh and she started running through the burning forest.

Holy shit. His Aura and Weapon Ki grew in strength rapidly! Not only that, He gained Light Magic-XV! Arex's Light Magic is at Tier XII! Also, he got resistances to Light, Wind, Ice, Fire, Lightning, Earth, Holy, AND Curse Magic!?

And this Hero Level...even at the lowest, they can kill monsters above their rank easily. Now that he's regenerating, I cannot let him recover.

"System! Elemental Armor, Iron Skin, Body Armor-Steel, Hyper Strength, Hyper Endurance, Hyper Speed! Now!"

I cover myself in Dark Magic along with my halberd, then I cover the halberd with Dark, Water, and Poison Magic at Tier X and my blue aura.

"Go! Kill him!" I yelled. I jumped down dashed forward to end Zaneth.

Saeva jumps down on the burning ground and follows me, the burning ground that she is running on does not affect her. Mavros flies over the burning ground where the heat cannot touch him. Mirtis jump down and let out a heavy metallic crash. He then went running upon the burning ground.

Since he is an undead skeleton, he cannot feel pain.

I flew towards Zaneth and swung my halberd with all my strength.

*CLANG!!*

*BWOOOOM!*

The mixture these magics explode in a murky colored pillar with blue streaks of light. I looked to see that Zaneth has blocked my attack, what's worse, my halberd was mere centimeters to his skull.

"Dammit! Am I too late!?" I thought. Instead of being two ranks behind, I am now four ranks behind Zaneth AND he became a hero!

However, Saeva came from behind and her eyes glowed red.

"Saeva, Inferno Magic!" I yelled

*Fwoosh!*

A ring of infernal flames rose around us and I jumped back in the air.

"Vampa, Burya, Solar and Plasma Magic! Full force!" I yelled.

*GRAWWR!*

*FWO-BOOOM!*

The black and crimson flames erupted, engulfing Zaneth whole, but I wanna make sure he is dead, dead, and DEAD!

*KREEE!*

*VZZO-BOOOOM!!*

Vampa and Burya's magic of Plasma and Solar mixed in as well. Those attacks with Inferno, Plasma, and Solar mix in a bright red and yellow twister with black flames. But I am not done yet.

I use Wind Magic to propel myself, summoned Fire and Dark Magic. I then fused the two magics together to get Scorch Magic. Unlike Inferno Magic, Scorch Magic weakens health regeneration and healing magic.

I look down at Zaneth who is still inside the crater and the magics assaulting him, I don't plan to give him a chance to breathe!

I clench my fists and the swirling Scorch Magic increases in size.

*Fwooom!*

"TAKE THIS!!!"

I roared and began unleashing a barrage of Scorch Magic projectiles. The mixture of dark orange flames rain down on Zaneth who is still inside the crater.

*BOOM!!*

With the intent to kill.

*BOOM!!*

To destroy.

*BOOM!!*

And to give that bitch Arukatha the middle finger!

*BOOM!!* *BOOM!!* *BOOM!!* *BOOM!!* *BOOM!!*

The loud explosions replace the sounds of pouring rain, burning vegetation, and the roaring thunders as they were unnecessary.

Although, this may seem overkill, but a person first becoming a bandit and suddenly becoming a hero? He never gained any blessings, because I would know if he had any the first time I scanned him.

After bombarding him with Scorch Magic, I summon a larger ball of Scorch Magic. The last one is now twice the size of the meteor I created.

"Say Arukatha hi for me, kitty cat." I said, smiling so devilishly with teeth in full display.

I then threw the giant scorching ball of death at Zaneth. The scorching ball roars down at Zaneth as a declaration to devour him whole, to incinerate him completely.

The giant bomb touches the ground and began to rumble. The ground hit by this magic soon turned into lava from the intense heat.

And then...detonation.
