Lightning Dragon Tyrant (Part 2)

{Alden's POV...}

{Earlier...}

In Nolten Village, I was in the ruins with Viridesca and Gris, noticing them that they have evolved as well. All of them has reached Wind Elemental, capable of keeping their wind from going out of control.

I sat on a rock to watch them float around without a care in the world. Without conflict, without worry, and without stress. Gris on the other hand laid down next to me.

For elementals, they live indefinitely as long as the natural elements exist such as air, wind, or magic exists.

In a way, I'm envious. Doing the things they like most without anyone stopping them, letting the others kill each other for some temporary superiority. It would be nice.

But...I don't have that luxury, not even before I came to this world.

*Breep!*

[Incoming distress signal from Ashley.]

Distress signal from Ashley? She's a dragon above rank S and slain two heroes. For her to send it must be serious!

"Alden, are you there?" Ashley called.

"Ashley, what's wrong!?" I yelled.

"It's the Outworlders." Ashley said.

Outworlders? So I was right after all and confirms the rumors. Then this must mean that the Outworlders has something that can kill dragons such as her.

"So I was right...where are you now?" I asked.

"My location is atop the mountain that is closest to Velizar." Ashley replied.

That's where Za'taranga is usually located, no one in that village can challenge her, let alone even think of climbing that mountain.

Looks like my time for peace was short-lived in the end.

"Alright, I'll be right--"

*Bzzzt!*

[Warning. Transmission has been severed.]

[You cannot contact her at this time.]

Dammit! So it's like last time. I better get to her ASAP.

"Viri, Gris, Groza!" I called.

Viri and Gris responded immediately to my call. Gris' ears twitched and he shot up. Viri rushed towards me, thinking that there is an emergency. Lastly, Groza flew on top of my arm.

"You're with me." I said and the two went into my Isolated Space and I warped Groza and myself to the open fields of Noltia.

*Voom!*

I then summoned Zala out of my shadow.

"Zala, come on out!" I called.

*Shoom!*

I hopped on Zala's back and gave her my orders.

"To Telgrin Mountains, full speed!" I ordered.

*NEEIIIGH!!*

Zala lifted her legs and neighed loudly. As her frontal legs touch the ground, she bolted.

*WOOOSH!*

The scenery around me shortly became a green blur. Zala zips by the fields and the trails that leads to the Telgrin Mountains.

From Nolten to Noltia, it takes hours to get there by carriage. To Telgrin, it'll take a day or two.

But for Zala, that could take minutes. No, every second counts!

"Xydrid! Start flying!" I yelled.

*Voooom!*

*WROOOSH!*

Xydrid rushed through the portal and into the sky, causing a gust of wind from his large body.

I jumped off of Zala and teleported myself and Groza on Xydrid's back and put Zala back into my Isolated Space.

Xydrid ascends above the mountains and above the clouds by flapping his giant wings. I send Groza and he began flying as well.

"Groza, fly to Velizar ahead of us"

"Xydrid, fly towards Velizar as fast as you can! Our friend is in trouble!" I said.

*ARRRHH!*

Xydrid roared and began flying faster, above the mountains and the clouds. For more preparation, I switch to becoming an Oni.

"System, Oni Warlord!"

[Acknowledged, now changing...]

[Now changing armor...]

With my command my body began changing along with my clothes in a rapid pace. It's all up to Ashley to survive.

{Now...with Ashley's POV...}

After the storm settled, the isolated Space barely held on and the scenery of the mountains was changed greatly. Trees that were there were reduced to splinters, craters littered across the mountains, and the ground scorched bare by the heat of lightning strikes.

The monsters that were caught in it were either blown away, torn to pieces, or charred black. Except the four.

As the dust settles, I see Terrence with his arms wide, heavily breathing. His face has been burned where his eyelids are no longer visible along with his hair, his skull has been exposed in various places, his torso burned to show his part of his rib cage and his muscles.

His limbs are dangling, some fingers and toes lost, and yet he still lives.

Arnox, who stood next to Terrence is missing his right arm and his robes is in tatters. He knelt down as his legs lost strength for him to stand.

But for Alexander, he his missing half of his left leg. The majority of his body is covered in lacerations and bruises, but the least injured of the three.

"Ghhk! Hurk! Nnngh!" Terrence tried to talk, but he can only muster grunts and groans as his voice is severely impaired due to the injuries.

"Such power...it's beyond my calculations! She destroyed Brittney's army in a flash with resistances of the elements, but that dragon still killed them. This artifact was meant to nullify that dragon's Tyrant Aura, but it remained unaffected!" Arnox said in his mind. He then looks back at Brittney.

"Brittney, are you alright?" Arnox said.

Brittney in contrast is mostly unharmed, suffering cuts and bruises, but her face shows that her state of mind is worse. Her body trembles in fear from not from my Tyrant Aura or my Dragon Fear, it's the fear of death that came close from taking her.

"T...Terrence?" Brittney stuttered, still shaken from the storm.

"Alexander, are you alive?" Arnox said, looking around.

"Somewhat...urgh..." Alexander groaned, limping towards the group.

"Well, this is surprising." I said, floating towards them. "All four of you survived."

I began walking through the aftermath of my own power to show my dominance in this battle and scaring them back to their holes.

Brittney yelped and tried crawling back, but her legs will not listen.

Terrence fell on his knees and slowly began slouching. The strength he had was failing him. During the time, Arnox sensed that Terrence's life is in danger.

"We are in no condition to continue, we must retreat now!" Arnox thought and immediately vanishes along with the other perpetrators.

*Voom!*

Then the isolated space disappeared.

"That'll bring them down a peg." I smiled with my chest held up. I began walking back to the top of the cave to return to my relax time.

Moments later...

*THOOOOM!!*

Something fell out of the sky and crashed down into the ground, scattering rock and debris everywhere.

"Ashley! Are you alright!?" Alden yelled as he run towards me with his now giant body.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said.

"Where did they go? The Otherworlders." Alden said.

"They escaped with a bruised ego." I said. "Anyway, that won't be the last time we see them."

And knowing the fact that they did not notice Alden in the first place is because we're in the Isolated Space. If we weren't, Alexander would've found out immediately.

"But you're not gonna believe what I just encountered." I continued. "Two of which that you, Andre, Danny, and I knew about."
