The aura exploded, causing another shockwave, oppressing the army of heroes that stand in front of them.
Some of which struggle to stand in one place.
"It continues to become even stronger!?" Thomas yelled, shielding himself.
*BWOOSH!!*
The aura exploded again covering the monster in a thick cloud. Silence ensued, but the tensions are palpable, tangible and sharp enough to cut flesh.
Suddenly, Thomas, Gregory, and Esmerelda feels a strong dread washing over them.
"What is this feeling!? This is much different before Alden evolved!" Thomas thought.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!" a blood-curdling scream breaks the silence and the three turned to find the source of the scream.
They looked to see a man in a white gi outfit laying on the floor convulsing violently, frothing at the mouth with his eyes rolled up. Next to the man is a woman in an armored dress is on her knees, holding her head.
The woman is trembling violently, tears running from her wide eyes, pupils trembling from what incomprehensible horror did she witness.
"What happened!?" Thomas said, shaking her to recompose her.
"It's over, it's over...we're going to be pigs sent to the slaughter...!" the woman gasps "that monster shouldn't exist!"
Thomas turned around and horror washes over him as the smoke clears.
What reveals is a monster much worse than the last.
What the monster has is three horns on its head and now have black skin, darker than ink itself, eyes, red with blood and the scar-like slashes on the body ignites, burning like fire. Yet it doesn't feel pain. Or it could be a part of it. Additionally, it now has six arms. Four of which is part of its flesh and the two are detached and floating besides the monster.
"Oh my god..." Thomas said in horror and then resolves himself to fight against it, knowing that if they cannot kill it, who else?
He sees the heroes behind him trying to calm each other down or some are falling into despair. There are also those who have fainted outright.
"Do not falter!" Thomas yelled, looking at the monster. The crowd looked at Thomas "Arukatha sent us here for a reason! If we falter now, the strength we trained for, that is given to us will be for nothing!"
"We must slay that monster before innocent lives are lost!" Thomas yelled. "Also, we must slay the other Tyrants so that the people living their lives can--"
*SPLLCH!!*
As Thomas was speaking, that same monster moved past him and punched Esmerelda's head, pulverizing it in an instant. That head Esmerelda had has been reduced into a fine red mist.
"GROOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" the monster roared at the army of heroes, summoning various weapons out of energy.
The roar shakes the heroes within the vicinity down to their very bones, their very soul, making even the bravest of heroes tremble uncontrollably with fear.
The monster rushes towards the center of the army and began to paint the field with blood.
*SLASH!!!*
"KYAAAAAAGH!!!"
*CRUNCH!!!*
"AAAAARRGH!!!"
*KRRRNK!!*
"AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
*KER-SPLLNNCH!!*
"EEEYYYAAAAGGGH!!!"
"KILL IT!! KILL THE MONSTER!!!"
The sounds of flesh being torn, bones being broken, the anguished screams, and the desperate orders of command fill the air.
Thomas on the other hand was stunned on how can a monster be able to slay multiple heroes at once, and in one hit at that.
One hero gets cleaved in half, the other with its lower body crushed
For what Thomas sees is a living nightmare. A nightmare that he cannot wake from.
"AAAALLLDEEEEEENN!!!" Thomas roared and flew towards the monster.
Every swing the monster makes, dozens of heroes were flung, few of which are dead instantly.
The heroes bombard the monster with various attacks ranging from blades, a multitude of magical elements, Holy Magic, bullets, arrows, and some even their own bodies.
Yet the monster felt no pain and continued to cut them down with each swing of its arms.
Thomas fires his heat ray at the monster.
*Vzzzom!*
*Bzzzing!*
Heat ray hits the monster, but the monster ignored it. Even if its limbs were torn off, it will not react.
In fact, it comes crosses its arms over its head.
"It's doing something! Stop it before it happens!" Thomas yelled.
The heroes charge at the monster, making sure it doesn't get a chance.
Yet, it did.
*FWEEEN!!*
"RRROOAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!" The monster roared and dark energy rays flared out in every direction and erupting from the ground.
*BOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!*
A multitude of heroes were scattered, obliterated by the sheer intensity of those beams. The beams incinerate everything it touches, the trees, the grass and the mountains.
For every Hero slain by the Tyrant, the Tyrant grows stronger and even more so dangerous as the battle goes on.
Soon, the monster vomits blood. From the countless attacks it suffered, it did not feel pain, but the damage remained. And the regeneration was soon exhausted.
Yet the monster did not care, for it cannot feel pain.
"Its regeneration stopped...?" Esmeralda said.
"It's hurting, y'all! Don't stop!!" Gregory yelled.
The heroes began charging at the monster, knowing that they will die. However, what they did not know is that the monster has another skill among the numerous ones.
"GRAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!" the monster roared and a deep red aura flows from it, its muscles also began growing. Despite of it dying, it grows stronger, more aggressive. Not only that, it began using magic on its own.
Magics coming from that very monster erupt everywhere, killing any stray Heroes and those near it.
Magics like Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Poison, Lightning, Ice, Light, Darkness, and the elements mixed within. Untold destruction razes the ground.
{30 minutes later...}
It continued until Thomas and the monster was the only one left. Thomas can only look with horror as his comrades has been killed by the very same monster.
Yet the monster has suffered multiple grievous wounds all over its body. Multiple bullet holes, burns, deep lacerations, burns across the face. Broken arrows sticking onto its body, upper left arm sliced off, left leg hanging by bits of its flesh left. Additionally, it is missing its right eye.
Yet, it does not care.
"Grrrrk...! Kaagh!" the monster growled and vomited blood.
Thomas on the other hand was also gravely injured. Broken right arm, blind on the right eye, suit in tatters, yet he lives.
However, his brave front was shattered. All he has left is fear.
"I can't believe it...he killed every single hero in this vicinity..." Thomas sobbed.
"Raaaagh!!" The monster jumped up with one leg and tackles Thomas. The monster looks down at Thomas and growls at him. The one eye glows in the darkness.
"All of this death and destruction...for what!?" Thomas said. "Do you think you'll bring back Suzana!?"
"Suzana...I will save...Ashley...Andre...will bring back." the monster said.
"How can you be so sure, Alden!?" Thomas said. "Even if you make it back, you'll never be the same!"
"You...I will break....Fat Fuck...I will gut..." the monster said. "YOU...I WILL KILL."
The monster soon grabbed Thomas's legs and began to bend his legs in an angle that wasn't supposed to reach.
*CRRRACK!!*
The monster broke Thomas's legs. The break that the monster caused made the bone pierce through the skin, exposing the bone.
"AAAAAARGH!!!" Thomas screamed in agony.
"ROOOAAAAAAAGH!!!" the monster roared and began to use what left of its arms and began punching Thomas's body in multiple places.
*CRACK!!* *CRUNCH!!* *KRRRNCH!!* *KRRNK!!*
The rest of his legs, his arms, his fore arms, and his ribs break in different places.
"GYAAAAAAHH!!!" Thomas continued to wail in excruciating pain as each of his bones break from each punch.
The monster then grabbed his head with two of its arms and glared at him.
"She...will not---" Thomas said.
*SPLUCH!!*
In one motion, the monster ripped Thomas' head off and is greeted with a bloody fountain.
The monster drops the remaining corpse and looks at the detached head for a moment and then the dead heroes littered across the wasteland.
The monster then finally looks at the sky.
"GROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" the monster lets out a mighty roar towards the sky, striking its arm upwards with a severed head of its enemy.
This roar is not a roar of victory, but a declaration to someone up there who has wronged him long ago. As if his goal is getting closer, even if it was ever so slightly.
Then, it dropped the severed head and fell to its knees. The aura began to fade, next the ethereal arms, the glowing marks, and the glowing red eyes.
*Fsssssh....*
Then, his muscle mass began to shrink along with its height.
The monster lost most of its powers, but what it got back was its rationality.
