Time passed, and Hadrian continued to change little things here and there.

After discussing with Albus, Hadrian set up multiple study rooms separate by year for all students. It was difficult to do homework or study in the common room, and the library only had so many seats.

The headmaster approved the idea, and now students had a place they could study in peace. Hadrian also hoped that this would eliminate the prejudice between houses. The older students may be set on their ways but the younger ones could still be influenced.

Another thing he did was create a spell that detected the dark mark. After stopping the death eaters for the third time while shopping in Diagon Alley, Hadrian took one of them with him to be his guinea pig while studying the mark. He didn't survive but his contributions were invaluable.

After a trip to the ministry, and a talk with the head of the DMLE, Bartolomeu Crouch, and now Aurors were equipped with a way to know who was loyal to Voldemort and who wasn't.

Imagine the death eater's surprise when they went to work at the Ministry one day, only to be apprehended and thrown into a cell till such a time they could get interrogated. Hadrian would pay to be present when Voldemort heard the news.

Another effect of the spell was that a few students were not be going back to Hogwarts.

Something Hadrian was glad to see was that the population was starting to fight back. A small number here and there, and there were causalities, but at least they were trying, and with their efforts more and more death eaters were being apprehended.

At Hogwarts, things were just getting better. The students loved Hadria's classes and feared his detentions, no one wanted to duel the old vampire. The dueling club was a huge success, and Flitwick was even talking about taking some students under his wing and seeing if any of them could get far in the dueling tournaments.

The study rooms did wonders to alleviate the tensions between houses, the younger students happy to work together and some older ones finally putting their pride aside and asking for help from those they knew were better in certain subjects.

Hadrian also changed Quidditch, not the rules but how many teams a house could have. Now, each house had two teams. One team was formed by younger students from the second to fourth years and one was formed by older students from the fifth to seventh years. The younger players had games on Saturday and the older ones on Sunday.

Hadrian also came to the realization that he had no money besides what he gets from being a teacher. That's one thing he didn't think about when writing his background. So he went to Gringotts, open an account, and invested most of his money in different places.

In the mundane world, he invested in Stark Industries, Oscorp, and other companies. With the money that came from those investments Hadrian opened his own shop and contracted a bunch of muggle-borns. After signing contracts that would ensure that they would not sell his secrets away, Hadrian started reselling mundane electronics and miscellaneous items to the wizarding world.

By the way, the saying that electronics didn't work around magic was a myth. If that was true, nothing within miles of Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic should work since both were located right in London.

Another thing to take notice of was that wizards and witches could create their own mini-dimensions - mainly Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic - and they didn't abuse that power.

Really, what did you think those tents that had whole houses inside were? The extension charm only worked until a certain point, after that space inside became an independent dimension connected to the outside world. That's how Diagon Alley could exist without the non-magical finding it is strange that a huge plot o land in the middle of London was unused.

That was because there was nothing there. If you took a flight above the Leaky Cauldron and tried to see what was behind the wall that was the entrance for the alley, you would see nothing. How no one noticed that before, Hadrian could not understand.

Hadrian already was forming plans of creating his own dimension, full of magical creatures, plants, and races. Who knows? He may even call the wizards once the non-magical found about them and they had no place to hide. Because, really, it was only a matter of time before the Statute of Secrecy didn't matter anymore.

With the end of the year, came the exams and Hadrian was happy to see the results. A lot had changed in Hogwarts in that one year, even Albus admitting that hiring Hadrian was one of the best decisions he made while being the headmaster. With the end of the year feast, the students boarded the train went home.

Hadrian was also invited to be part of the Order, which he accepted with the condition that the members would stop firing stunners and would start fighting back for real. He wasn't asking them to kill, but to at least incapacitate their opponents. Albus accepted, even if he didn't like it, and asked for Hadrian and Alastor Moody's help in training the members.

If the students at Hogwarts thought Hadrian's classes and detentions were difficult, then the Order's training was straight up hell. Three people had puked within the first hour.

Alastor had a grudging respect for Hadrian after that.
