Dinner with the royals

The dress she wore was white in color, designed in tiny ruby stones, leaving her back bare, as a unique gold embroidery enhanced the bottom of the dress, showing off the fine curves of her waist and breast, all the way to her hips, to flow freely on the ground. The last time she had seen a dress as pretty as the one she wore, was with her mother when they had both passed a shop filled with undeniably cute dresses which made her wonder if she was ever going to see any like them ever again, which even an elite never wore. The dress looked really expensive and Zoe had wondered how much Eliot had paid for it 'maybe a lot' Zoe thought to herself, but she couldn't understand why Eliot would get her such an expensive dress.

She stared at herself in the mirror as a frown came to settle on her face, Zoe didn't understand what Eliot was trying to do, maybe there was just this hidden motive and plan, so she decided that before he did anything stupid she would have already ran away, to a place where he would never find her. Looking at her hair in the mirror she took a towel and gently rubbed the tips and body of her dark flowy hair to make it dry.

When Zoe was finally done with drying her hair, she couldn't find anything to comb it, so she thought of using her hands instead, so she could comb through it as she let her hair flow freely on her back, while brushing through it with her fingers.

Walking slowly towards the door Zoe hesitated to pull the handle, but gathering up little courage she finally opened the door, as she walked out of the bathroom felling refreshed and clean, closing the door behind her. Zoe stood frozen when she caught sight of Eliot staring at her unblinkingly 'is it my hair?' Zoe immediately tore her gaze away from Eliot feeling a little disturbed, she thought it would stop him from staring at her but instead it did the opposite. Eliot slowly walked towards where Zoe stood and came to a halt when he was just a step away from her.

Zoe stared into Eliot's captivating green emerald eyes that somehow made her sink in deeper and deeper. It made her heart beat rapidly in her chest 'why do I feel like this?' it irritated her that she was acting this way towards her master 'don't think too much Zoe… don't think, he is an enemy, and he has to be eliminated.' "You look gorgeous" he said snapping her out of her thought's, Eliot was staring at her like he had found her irresistibly attractive to look at "I made the right choice, the dress looks nice but.. Something looks off", he furrowed his brows in thoughts "what?" Zoe asked in confusion. Eliot didn't answer her question. He walked close to where she stood turning round her to stop when he was standing where her back was facing him.

He slowly put his hands in her hair, making her heart beat skip in her chest, which made her head feel weightless and airy. Eliot allowed Zoe's hair to fall in-between his fingers, as he took out some strands, tying it in a bun while letting some parts of her soft front hair fall loosely on the sides of her face to stop under her jaw, making it look messy but neat. Putting his hand in his pants pocket, he brought out a beautiful hairpin.

The hair pin was made with gold, it had pink peach blossoms on its ends, with two pearl lace strapping from its end, as a diamond stone hung on the bottom of the lace, "turn around" he said, holding the pin in his hands, Zoe hesitated a bit but when she felt his hard gaze on her she quickly turned around to face him. Zoe looked up at Eliot who was staring back at her, with his fascinating green eyes.

He went back to gently push the hairpin into her hair. As he adjusted it to make sure it was still visible, before he spoke, "it looks nice on you" he said with the satisfactory smirk that had formed on his face.

Reaching the mansion, the Driver pulled the door of the limo open, his head bowed as Eliot stepped out of the limo first and Zoe followed his steps.

The mansion was gray in color. It was as big as Eliot's own mansion, but compared to this Eliot's mansion was larger. Zoe walked slowly as she followed behind Eliot, but stopped when her head hit his hard back "ouch!" she said rubbing the part of her forehead that kept throbbing with pain.

"When were in, don't open your mouth to say anything unless you are spoken to," Eliot said before they could step inside.

Zoe looked ahead of him, the pit in her stomach swirling with nervousness and worry, she nodded in reply to see him smirk lightly.

She nodded internally, assuring herself that everything would be alright but when they stepped inside, seeing so many vampires gathered in one place, she wasn't sure how things would turn out to be. Especially with people staring at her, the room was filled with chattering's of high Elite vampires who were seated, Zoe couldn't stop he self from looking at the vampires who were seated.

They both walked inside the room and everyone that was seated went quiet, they all bowed their heads in respect as Eliot walked towards his seat, walking behind Eliot Zoe waited for him to take his sit before she sat on a slightly smaller chair that was beside him. Eliot sat at the head of the table. Zoe was stunned with what she saw, it was a long wide table filled with exquisite fruits that she had never seen before 'weird… I'm sure they'll soon serve the spiced chicken' Zoe though as a mischievous smile formed on her face.

The chattering's and sounds of vampire's in the room got silent and everyone stood while bowing their heads in respect, including Zoe, not knowing what was going on.

Zoe herself could feel her body tense up as Goosebumps crawled up on her skin, something in her guts telling her that whoever it was approaching the room, had immense power 'why do I feel this way'. ?

A tall fair woman approached the hall, the sounds of her clicking heels filling the ears of everyone in the room. There was a black cat with blue eyes that walked behind her, it walked elegantly like it was the queen itself. 'That's the cat I saw in my dreams!' It was designed with gold jewelries all over, a tiny silver bell was tied to its wrist. The cat itself was marvelous, it looked to be respected, dressed like the replica of an Egyptian cat goddess, in the BC centuries. The eyes of the cat seemed to hold wisdom and knowledge of the universe '… Nope!'

Zoe raised her head slightly to look at the person who had entered the room, it was a woman in royal robes, her lips were the color of red, and her velvet robe was royal blue, designed with a phoenix embroidery on the back and front. It had tiny gold flowers that designed the ends of the robe. She looked to be in her thirties and her face was painted with make-up to make her look good.

Zoe didn't fail to notice the maid behind her, it was Greta. She raised her head high feeling proud that she was walking with the queen. Zoe herself didn't fail to notice the glared look on Greta's face when their eyes met.

The queen walked elegantly towards the high table, where she sat graciously. "You may all rise" she said as everyone raised their heads and sat down, returning to their various chattering's

"Greetings, your highness. I thought you would skip this banquet," the woman with brown hair and fringes that rested on her forehead appeared in front of them, before going to sit beside Eliot on the right hand side. Her lips were red, also her delicate dress. It was Lady Celine. Her smile wasn't overstated but it was rather calm. She was a beauty, it would be hard to believe that this woman wasn't Eliot's mistress, Zoe thought to herself.

The woman beamed with happiness, but when her eyes fell on Zoe, her expression turned sour as if someone had slapped her on the face.

With the Lady's eyes that fell on Zoe, Zoe bowed her head in respect, so not to look into her eyes, in some cases Zoe was aware that looking into a vampire's eye was considered to be rude and with her being a slave, she tried not to be impolite.

As expected the lady didn't respond to her bow but only hummed before looking back at Eliot, "it's nice to see you here," the lady went on to greeting high elite vampires that sat across her. Zoe didn't mean her eyes to wander off to look at people but unable to keep her eyes on her hands she started to look around sitting next to Eliot.

Unlike other slaves who trained over and over again with lashes until it was inked into their bones, Zoe was someone who had tasted the burn of the whiplash on her skin, but she didn't understand where the courage to look at a vampire in the eye came from.
