“Steve… let go… of me” Erica ordered while still panting.
“No” He denied her and held her even more tightly.
“Excuse me? What the… fuck do you mean… by no?”
“I am not letting you go”
“Steve, are you crazy?” Erica tried to push him away but he was stronger and she couldn’t get away from him.
“Not yet, but I think I am going crazy because of you” 
Steve wrapped his one hand around her waist and he held the back of her head and leaned forward to kiss her.

Erica was leading a successful life as a top lawyer in Seattle. She is cold, scary and single as she couldn't get over her first love.
Assuming her first love to be forever unsuccessful she gave up hopes on ever having a chance at it but one day surprisingly the love of her life showed up at her work place but as her boss.
Erica was nervous and anxious and wanted to avoid him at all costs but Steve was not the one she could easily avoid.

I Can Never Stop Loving You

During lunch time, Erica was a bit upset as she was missing her best friend Lisa who was on a trip with her family and would be joining high school later.


"Going for lunch?" Steve's charming voice rang in her ears and Erica came back from her thoughts.


Erica was happy to have some company and like that their friendship started.


People who wanted to bully Erica for being sincere and studious had to back off as they all wanted to get into Steve's good books.


Even the seniors found Steve's personality very charming and they too wanted to be friends with him so almost everyone in school used to treat Steve well and to get close to him, they used to try to be nice with Erica too as she was the only person Steve used to treat well.


In that one week, Erica developed a crush on him.


After a week, Lisa, Erica's childhood friend joined the school.


Lisa, unlike Erica, was a beauty, every guy wanted to date her and she received many proposals in the past from a lot of guys and she rejected everyone as she felt they were not good enough for her.


As soon as Lisa came to school, she found Erica and happily went to hug her but suddenly a handsome guy appeared next to Erica which surprised Lisa.


"Who are you?" Lisa questioned Steve as soon as she reached the two people.

Lisa smiled at Steve's reply as no guy ever talked to her this way, they were always crazy about her and tried their best to impress her.


"Well you are around my best friend, so you have to answer me"


Lisa, who was smiling till now, frowned when she heard his words, "Excuse me?"


Steve then put his one arm around Erica's shoulder and looked straight at Lisa, "Erica is my best friend"


Lisa got very annoyed, she sharply looked at Erica, "Is that true? You ditched me?"


"Wait, I am not your best friend?" Steve angrily questioned her and Erica felt she got stuck between them and was nervous what to say as she didn't want to upset either of them.


Seeing Erica nervous, the other two people stopped fighting and Erica introduced them to each other and requested them to make peace with each other as they both are important for her.


Lisa and Steve agreed to be peaceful around each other for Erica's sake but the two used to banter all the time and Erica was the peacemaker between them.


This way many months passed away, Robin and John too became their friends and these five became a group of close knitted friends.


Over this time Erica's feelings for Steve only grew deeper but she kept her feelings to herself as she knew Lisa doesn't like him and won't approve of him.


But one day she received the shock of her life.
