Some Three Line Poems

(These are two poems, three lines each, that were part of an exercise. Essentially, the first line was an abstraction, the second was a verb, and the third tied it together.)

Life waxes and wanes.

Scraping by, it finds a way to move forth.

Its legacy, found in the wake.

Time is a ball

Flying from pitcher to catcher.

Never stopping, its destination approaching.
