Chapter 11

Hearing those words from Thamur was surreal. Never in a thousand years would I think that someone like him would fall in love with me, after all I don't think anything of what men want, especially men like Thamur Garson. His eyes watch me intently as if expecting some response from me, but his words caught me by surprise and I can't formulate a single word. I feel something warm inside me, and a comfort for having heard it. But the insecurity that he said that just because I'm possibly pregnant, makes me hesitate and without thinking.

—Idem.

His thick eyebrows come together, and his lips curl up in a short smile. I bite my lower lip in rebuke for having said that. But his features soften and he releases me so he can get up.

—I'll get you something.

He talks so suddenly out of the room, I can barely make out whether he was sad or frustrated. For my failure to say that I loved him. I can't say that yet, I have doubts about Thamur. And I don't want to say that just to say it, I want it to be true. Although he has spoken to me a few times, I want to be honest with him. I throw my head back with both hands on my face, drop my hands to my neck and head to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and go into the closet, I spent the whole day in that outfit, I don't want to wear it again. I hope Thamur doesn't mind if I wear one of his blouses, pick up a burgundy dress and wear it. When I open one of the drawers I find a collection of boxers with prints of Marvel heroes, I laugh out loud when I see that. I would never think that a man from the Thamur structure would use that kind of thing.

—So you found it.

I startle when I hear his voice, look in his direction and smile, pointing to the drawer.

—Interesting collection.

I comment trying to hold on to laughter, he walks over to me and stands beside me. The embarrassment on his face is noticeable, but he tries to hide it with a humorous expression.

—And my pride.

Speak up taking one with the iron man print.

—That would look very sexy on you.

I burst out laughing with him, knowing that Thamur has that side is the most unbelievable and sweet thing that I would never think anyone would have.

—Thank you, Mr. Garson.

I speak slowly, trying to make it sound sensual. I wear the same and go for a walk, placing one hand on my waist and the other under my chin, pouting. I know my pose is totally ridiculous because he bursts out laughing. I never thought that someone's laugh would be as beautiful as he is, his laugh is delicious and hearing him laugh makes me want to do the same.

—All right. Now you have to eat young lady, I don't want you to be sick.

He says taking my hand, guiding me back to the room. I see that on the bed there is a tray with a lot of food. Thamur makes me sit next to him on the bed and pulls out the tray, leaving it between us. He takes the fork and pierces the lettuce, bringing it close to my lips. Without questioning, I open my lips in passing. I am hungry for but to say that I can do this alone, and beyond that. I like it when Thamur pampers me. I chew the vegetable and promptly bring the fork back to my lips, pick up the glass with juice and take a sip. He takes a toast with peanut butter and hands it to me, I devour it. In a few minutes the plates on the tray are empty.

—You can use my toothbrush, I'll buy you some things tomorrow.

—It is not necessary.

I speak by running my tongue over my lips, watching him go to the door with the tray.

—Yes, when you come here you won't need to bring your things.

He speaks opening the door, a quick thought comes to me and I ask before Thamur leaves the room.

—Where's Molly?

The same stops and turns towards me.

—Nick, took her home.

—Because? I thought we were going together.

—She said it was for you to stay here, and that tomorrow I would bring you clean clothes. I asked her to stay, there are a lot of empty rooms here. But she made a point.

I nod to the one who disappears down the hall, I feel hurt that she hasn't stayed. Without commenting that I am not paying as much attention to her as I should. Maybe she feels lonely so she left, I don't want Molly to think I'm excluding her from my life. I get up and go to the bathroom, brush my teeth and go into the closet. I take a Thamur overcoat and wear it. I look for my sneakers and find them next to the bed, I put a foot on.

—Where are you going?

I hear his voice when putting on the other foot. I turn my body towards him to find him by the door looking at me questioningly.

—I have to go home, I can't leave Molly alone.

—But she said she would be fine.

—I know, but she is a minor, it is still my responsibility.

His expression softens, and in slow steps he comes to me holding my face.

—I thought we were going to sleep together today.

I sigh and run my hand lovingly over his arm.

—If you want, you can sleep at my house.

—He is sure?

Question uncertain, I curl my lips in a smile and confirm with a shake of my head.

—And it's normal since we're together.

—I'm going to get a change of clothes and then we go.

He speaks lightly kissing my forehead, entering the closet right after. I pick up my things and wait for the same in the living room, in a matter of minutes Thamur appears and we leave the building.

—You like her a lot, right?

The same question asks when we stop at a red light.

—Of course I do, I took care of her.

—Like this?

Asks when the signal changes color.

—Six years ago when I was coming home from work, I found her rummaging through a trash can looking for food. I felt sorry and took her home, she was so small and fragile that I couldn't let her go. So I adopted her.

—I realized that you couldn't be related.

—I know, we are quite different.

The difference is visible, Molly is pale, different from me, who is brown in color. But despite that always when asked, she said that I was her mother or sister.

—It was very beautiful what you did for her, it makes my admiration for you increase more and more.

She speaks with a glance at me, releasing a hand from the steering wheel and being at me, I smile and take it. He takes my hand to his lips and kisses my hand, letting go soon after taking the wheel again. We were silent the rest of the way, when we arrived Thamur for the car in front of the house. I find it strange that the lights are not on, I get out of the car and go to the front door without knocking. I take the keys and open the door. I give it space for it to come in and turn on the lights looking around. I don't hear any noise and I think it's too early for her to be asleep.

—Molly?

I call her name without an answer, go up the stairs to her room. I feel my heart pause for a brief moment when I open the door and find the same emptiness, I go back to the living room and Thamur looks at me waiting for an answer.

—She's not here.

I speak with concern.

—I'm going to call Nick.

He takes his cell phone out of his pocket and dials the number, running his hand through his hair in distress.

—Nick, where are you?

I see that Thamur sighs in relief.

—They're at the mall.

The same speech is addressed to me, I feel my heart calm down. I take the cell phone out of it.

—Pass it to her.

I order and know that my voice was not at all pleasant, because in less than a second I hear her voice on the other end of the line.

—Bellinda.

—For God. Molly, why didn't you tell me you were coming home?

—I saw that you and Thamur argued, I just didn't want to upset you but.

He speaks naturally, as if the concern I felt seconds ago was unnecessary.

—Even so you should have told me!

My voice sounds boring.

—I'm sorry.

I know that she noticed because her voice sounded low.

—Why didn't you come home?

—Nick found me to leave, and as it was still early I accepted. Wait, did you come home after me?

—Of course I came, you left without telling me anything. And besides, I wasn't going to let you sleep here alone.

—I'm sorry for worrying you, I'm going home now.

I run my hand over my chin and shake my head, even though I know she won't see it.

—It is not necessary. Keep having fun, just don't get late, you know?

—Yea! Mommy.

He speaks in an amused tone, I return the phone to Thamur and I throw myself on the sofa. The same goes away going to the kitchen, I don't hear what he says but his expression is not good, he must be giving a sermon like that on Nick. When I finish the call, he comes to meet me.

—I'm sorry for that, sometimes he is very immature.

—They are young, and you don't need to apologize.

He throws his head back and closes his eyes, the tiredness on his face is noticeable. I get up and take off his coat by throwing it aside and I get between his legs, as he runs my hand over his leg he opens his eyes.

—Want to sleep?

I lean over his body, he puts his arms around my waist.

—And everything I wanted to hear.

I get scared when Thamur gets up, lifting me up in his arms, I put an arm around his neck and turn off the light in the room when we go through the switch, it goes up the stairs and when we enter the room he pushes the door with his foot, closing it. Without turning on the light he leaves me on the bed and begins to undress in front of me. Despite the little light coming in through the window, I can see the print of his Thor's underwear. Without restraining myself, I burst out laughing.

—Thor.

I speak by raising my gaze over his body, Thamur Garson is the perfect sculpture of a Greek God.

—I think his hammer is a good match with mine.

His voice sounds provocative, and I can't disagree with him. You can see the size of your member in your underwear, but I look away ashamed. Slowly it comes to me and lies down beside me. I rest my head on his chest and place my hand on his stiff belly with gummy bears. His hand runs over my back over the expensive fabric of his shirt. His fingers wander slowly.

—Do you want to wait for them to arrive?

The same question is asked in a low way. I shake my head in denial with my eyes closed

—She has the key, and a guest room downstairs.

I speak lazily. Despite today's highs and lows, it was long and tiring. I notice his breathing slower, just like mine, and in the blink of an eye he fell asleep.
