Chapter Thirteen

I couldn't continue to talk to Aiden about it anymore. That day, he had just thrown me over his shoulder and we had a very intimate time for the entire day! I didn't even remember how many rounds we had done that day. But after that, I could barely get up from bed.

Many days passed like that until one morning, I heard Aiden discussing something on the phone with furrowed brows.

'So there's a dead woman. I see.' He said and ate a slice of sandwich from the plate. 'I'm coming.' And he hung up the phone, placing his phone back in his pockets.

I glanced at him and served him another sandwich, sitting beside him on the dining table as usual. I was curious about the call and the 'dead woman' talk.

'Who was that?'

'Ethan.'

It took me a while to remember who Aiden was talking about. 'That guy with glasses?'
