Witches and Wolves

"Ams! who would have though that the kids would be the nine - tailed?" Alejandro asked. "Had you told dad?"

"He has speculations and informed me last week," Amelia said nonchalantly while she tucked Liza and Mike to bed with the help of Lilliana. They had been unconscious after shifting to their human form.

"And you plan to keep that from me? After what I did for you? How could you do this?" Alejandro's decibels rose as he speak.

"Don't be such a drag, Al." Samuel overheard their conversation and approached them before they start arguing.

"But she is so unfair!" Alejandro complained.

The elemental witches appeared before them. They are all covered in blood while Earth was passed out in Icy's arms.

"Ambush!" DF said.

"Follow me! We have to bring him to the hospital," Lilliana exclaimed. Icy suddenly fall to his knees due to exhaustion.

"ICY!!!"

"Allow me," Zander approached them to get Earth and bring him to the Hospital. Wind was able to catch and steadied Icy and pulled and supported him after Zander get ET. They follow Zander who had sprinted using his ability.

"Vampires and their fast movement," Aqua commented trying to grip DF tightly. "Al, Sweetheart, send us to the hospital. DF is slipping out of consciousness."

Alejandro grab DF and carried him in his arms. He teleported to the hospital while the rest tried to walk as fast as they could.

"I will inform the Alpha about this. Will you be fine here alone?" Samuel asked.

"Yes, don't worry about me." Samuel gave his wife a chaste kiss in her forehead before leaving. Amelia put a spell in the room so that no one could enter aside from their family. She sit in a sofa near the bed and fell asleep.

Chirping outside woke the mates. Mike wanted to cuddle with Liza more and fell asleep but she refused.

"You have to carry mom in her room." Mike's eyes widened in Liza's statement. He looked around and notice that Amelia is sleeping soundly at the sofa but her position seemed to be uncomfortable. He blushed because of the naughty thoughts he planned to do with Liza not knowing her mother-in-law is inside the room.

"Oh!" He get up to look for a t-shirt so he could bring her to the room at the third floor Liza following them.

"Were you this tall before?" Liza asked suspiciously. "I know I had been unconscious for quite sometime but I don't think I remember you are this tall. You are more or less over 6'3"."

"I am 5'9", Shorty." Mike answered.

They happened to pass by Alpha Max office before reaching the stairs and Samuel was about to leave.

"The kids are awake." Alpha Max said." How are you guys?"

"Good morning, Alpha!"

"Good morning, Dad"

"We will bring mom to your room," Liza said gesturing her mom deep asleep. Exhaustion is already evident in her face like her mate.

"I'll bring her so you could have you meal." Samuel approached Mike to get his mate but Liza refused.

"Dad, you are one second from falling. Let Mike bring mom and save your energy till you reach the room." Liza said leaving no room for argument. His dad thanked them and he tucked her wife to bed before he change his clothes and have a nap.

The Alpha went to the Beta's room to check on them if they are around so they could join them for breakfast.

"Chris! Marie! Are you decent? Your friends are already awake."

"Pops, we will change first before we head to the kitchen." Mike get his grandfather's attention before heading to their room.

"Alright! I'll wait in the office. Don't take long." Alpha Max heard a thud inside Chris room indicating that someone had fell to the ground followed by falling objects. "Is Everything alright there?"

"Yes, Alpha," Marie opened the door of their room." Good morning! Did we disturb you?"

"Marie, help! I cant stand up."

The Alpha barged inside and help him instead. "Why are you sleeping on the couch? Good thing no glass is placed here."

"He is afraid that he might hit my stomach while we were sleeping." Marie answered.

"Change and go to the kitchen. We will have breakfast after Mike and Liza changed." Alpha left their room to give them privacy.

After 30 minutes, Liza and Mike called Chris and Marie to head to the kitchen and they got Alpha Max. Lea and Rose prepared their food while Ana left to look for Samantha as requested by Liza.

"Morning!" Chris said sleepily sporting a bruise in his left cheek. He noticed the change in physique of Liza and Mike. "Did you just grow overnight?"

"Yeah! You seemed to glow, Liza." Marie said caressing her tummy.

"That's the effect of the change to them. There should have an effect to you, Chris, since your wolf changed also." Alpha informed them the changes of they would experience due to the shift.

"Yep! My pajamas and pants seemed shorter and won't fit so I have to find a short."

"So no wonder I have more muscles now." Mike said making Liza blush. Liza suddenly remembered seeing Mike in the CR in his birth suit while having panicked attack due to the toned abs he suddenly had.

"Stop that. Everyone could smell it you know," Mike whispered to Liza.

"Huh?" Liza was puzzled as to what he is talking. Marie was able to see thru Liza and Mike and she can't help but burst in to laughter.

"What's funny?" Chris asked

"Don't mind me." Marie piled the food in Chris's plate trying to divert her attention. "Just eat." Then she Scooped a mouthful of food and feed to Chris.

"At that rate, I doubt Chris would survive a year of your marriage," Samantha spoke surprising everyone. Liam was behind her and Ana.

Everyone laughed. Samantha and Liam get their plates to join for breakfast.

"When do you plan to get married?" Liam asked.

"I will talk to out parents first," Mike said.

"At full moon," Liza answered.

"Are you in a hurry?" Sam asked.

"No!"

"Yes!"

Mike was shocked at Liza's answered. They have not yet talked about it because of the shift but he did not expect that Liza wanted to get married as soon as possible.

"How about you, Marie, Chris?" Liam asked.

"Whenever Marie feels like."

"After I gave birth. It's hard to prepare for it if you have a stomach this big."

"Did I become small or you just guys grow?" Samantha asked.

"We grow." The three of them answered in unison but Liza blushed. She remembered again what she saw earlier and was able to send the images in her mind to the 2 witches in the room.

"Why are you blushing?" Alpha Max noticed. "Mind sharing what are you thinking."

"It's nothing, Alpha Max. Liza should learn how to control her mind so she does not send images that are meant to be private," Liam explained.

"Oh!"

"Wow! What is it? Send me! Send me!" Sam shouted like a child. Liam shot her a glare that shut her up.

"Sorry! I didn't know," Liza apologized

"What was that?" Mike whispered and kissed her cheek..

"I accidentally spilled what had happened earlier in the bathroom." Hearing that, Mike don't know if he would feel embarrass or will laughed it out.

"You always amaze me, Sweetheart."

"That was wow, man! You really become lovey-dovey in front of us. Is that also effect of the shift, Alpha?" Chris asked.

Everyone laughed even the maids that were present. No one expected that Mike would be openly affectionate to Liza and she wouldn't mind.

"I'm done and I have work to do. You guys visit the pack hospital to have you check. Your Uncle is here, Liza. You should visit them at the Hospital." Alpha Max placed her plates at the sink and left the kitchen.

After the Alpha left, they invited the maids to join them and continue teasing one another about having mates are being able to shift. Once they finished they helped the maids in cleaning the kitchen before they leave as they needed to go to the hospital.

"Beta Omar!" Samantha shouted at the ER of the hospital. Marie back handed her for shouting. "You are too aggressive for a pregnant woman."

"Sam, don't shout. The patients need some rest," Beta Omar said. He noticed Sam's company were not familiar faces. "I am Beta Omar Kenji Gonzalez. One of the pack doctors."

Sam introduce everyone to the Beta and told that Mike and Liza needed to be checked as they had shifted last night. Marie insist that Chris also get check as she notice some physical changes to him as well after the shift.

While waiting for them, Sam and Liam decided to pay a visit to the Elemental witches and Alejandro. They told Alejandro and Aqua that they need to take a rest and will look after the four brothers while they are away.

"Wind, how are you guys?" Liam asked once they settled themselves beside Wind.

"DF and ET had undergone surgery while ICY needs some rest. He passed out after having sutures." Wind answered while caressing his right arm as he feels pain.

"What happened to your hand?" Sam asked.

"I undergone some surgery, There were muscle than had been tear I think. They say it is swollen and needed to have s surgery. I don't pay much attention to what they say as they speak foreign to me."

"You just overdid it again." Liam retorted. "What did Uncle Al said?"

"Be ready for my punishment." And they laughed.

After the test, the four followed Sam and Liam to check the brothers and stayed with them as they wait for the result.

"Wyndham, you overdid it again. Uncle Al will be angry to death." Liza hugged Wind.

"You're still the same. No hi or hello's. How's the change?" Wind asked.

"I don't remember much but I will show you." Liza get a basin of water put a spell and showed what happened last night. She shown the change from the beginning of the shift, the howling to the moon, the shift of the other werewolves, their nine tails and when they returned back to human.

"Wow!"

"That was... Wow!"

Everyone turned their heads to Icy.

"Your awake! How are you feeling?"

"My body is pain but nothing I can handle." Icy smiled tiredly to give a more convincing effect to everyone. "Right on time I woke up. Aqua would be glad once he know you that spell. Apart from him, no one was able to use it."

Liza gave him a hug. "Thanks for coming yesterday."

"Everything for my favorite niece."

Marie and Chris went out to buy food for their lunch. Their doctor took rounds and informed them that Icy and Wind could be discharge a day after tomorrow while the two sleeping boys would be staying behind until they recuperated.

At dusk, they received the medical results and they decide to stay a little longer until Alejandro and Aqua return.

"It's almost 7. Should I get them?" Liam asked.

"You should leave. It's getting late. We could manage since Icy is already awake." Wind tried to ask them to leave but they won't budge. Samantha glared at him.

"The packhouse is less than five minute away unless we decided to have a detour. So I will be staying here until they showed up." Samantha announced showing no rooms for argument.

"We will go back first. It is not safe for a pregnant woman to stay out late." Chris, together with Marie, followed Liam as they cleaned the room because of the food packs they brought for lunch and snacks.

"We would be heading also. Sam would keep you company." Mike carried Liza in his arms, "My Slowpoke is very hard to wake up."

"You should stay also, Liam," Icy said.

"Ok! I will buy some drinks." Liam left and headed to the pack house to check Alejandro and Aqua. They were preparing the dinner they would bring to the hospital and went with Liam to the convenience store to buy some drinks.

The four had left. Once they reached the main door of the hospital, Mike placed Liza in the bench.

"You could open your eyes now, Sweetheart," Mike said. Marie raised her eyebrow at Mike's statement.

"You should walk faster next time. It is very hard to pretend sleeping and your fighting the smile that creeps your face." Liza stretched her limbs.

"What was that for?" Chris asked.

"Sam's mate is Liam. He rejected her but he has reasons so we plan that they stay together. They might eventually become close then they would not be able to avoid the bond and they will accept each other." Marie finished it. "No matter what happened, Liam still look after Sam. He is just afraid being alone or losing someone dear to him."

When Alejandro, Aqua and Liam reached the hospital, the four had already left. Samantha is patiently waiting for Al's return so she could leave as well since she is trying to avoid Liam as much as possible.

"I brought food and drinks. You should join us for dinner," Alejandro said once he entered the room. Aqua unpacked the basket for them to eat.

"Ok!" Liam sat beside Sam trying to inhale her scent as discreet as possible he could manage. Aqua handed them the food and drinks and they eat silently.

The Wind and Icy seemed to be enjoying the food while Al and Aqua keep on teasing each other while eating.

"Thank you for the food. We should get going." Liam dragged Sam after eating. " Hope you could join us at the pack house very soon."

"Take care, Kids." Wind seemed to be satisfied with their minimal interaction to each other.

Once they left the hospital, Samantha went for a run leaving Liam alone. He noticed that she keeps minimal interaction as possible to him. She even made him feel that he does not exist that left him hurt and a lone tear escaped his eyes.

At the forest, Sam could still see him and watch him from afar. She could not take the pain of rejection any longer even if she does not accept it. She does not expect that the outcome would be like this as Liam still tries to be with her even she made it clear that she don't want to do anything with him..
