To Be One takes place in a fictional spacefaring universe inhabited by aliens, and other species, co-existing with each other but... Earth, a terrestrial planet, a home for living species like humans remain untouched.
 
After a long day of school, Noctis, Yujin, Jade and Pearl are on their way home, spending their days as usual. Shortly after they reached the central park of Alvarez City, Pearl noticed that people suddenly disappeared making her and Jade the only people left. With one strange thing happening, the two of them don't have a clue that it will be the start of a story that will forever change their lives.

A massive planet located in the Noberian Galaxy. Known for its harmonious relationship between the terra and aqua. It became a habitat to a vast number of species of heavenly and majestic creatures all over the land. 


The planet Xena is also known for its massive mana energy resources. The various uses of mana have been engraved into people’s lives, making them depend on it since they were born. Some of its uses are for combat, and people who use mana in that manner are called magi. Due to the existence of magi, the planet Xena was divided into four great nations. 


These four nations serve as roads for mankind to walk on. 


One of the four great nations is Suzaku, the Vermillion Bird, whose brilliant flames share the gift of knowledge and wisdom. 


There is Seiryu, the Azure Dragon, the guardian of skies, whom countless legends were once born from. 


And there is Byakko, the White Tiger, whose fangs are bare for those who oppose it.
