To Be One takes place in a fictional spacefaring universe inhabited by aliens, and other species, co-existing with each other but... Earth, a terrestrial planet, a home for living species like humans remain untouched.
 
After a long day of school, Noctis, Yujin, Jade and Pearl are on their way home, spending their days as usual. Shortly after they reached the central park of Alvarez City, Pearl noticed that people suddenly disappeared making her and Jade the only people left. With one strange thing happening, the two of them don't have a clue that it will be the start of a story that will forever change their lives.

“HA!!!” Glory let out all of her strength as she swung her dagger towards Ryon who easily evaded it. After that, she regained her stance as she looked at him solemnly. A drop of sweat broke out on her forehead and she mopped it away with her forearm. She’s catching her breath heavily. 


“I think that’s enough for now,” Ryon transformed back to his owl form and looked at Glory intently. “You’re getting used to it, I guess?” he’s talking about her fighting with the daggers. 


Glory stood straight and regained her posture before she replied, “I must. This is the only way for me to survive, in this world at least.” She withdrew her daggers as it disappeared in thin air. 


“I must say that you’re about sixty-five percent proficiency level of using those… it is low,” Sterling commented after analyzing Glory. 


“Well, it’s not that bad!” Glory replied with a cheery voice.
