Cheryl was overwhelmed with thousands of questions running through her head. For starters, she did not know what that thing was or that it was even in the castle to begin with. Why did she not know about it, hadn't they considered that this would be valuable information? But that simply did not make sense. It gave her comfort, and it was the only thing that made her feel at least a little bit safe, since she had basically been left to her own defence with no one else to depend on.
