Chapter Twenty Seven

"Hey, Miss hybrid!"

Cheryl acted as if she had not heard anything, continuing to walk towards the sunlit garden. Speeding up her pace. She could make it, she was very close to the garden.

"Can't she hear me?" she heard the boy whisper before he shouted again, "Princess!"

But it was too late, Cheryl had already made it to the garden, feeling rather victorious of her fit. As she walked down the marble path down the middle of the garden, she fell to a slower, calmer pace. Reveling off of the feel of quiet and calmness, inhaling the fresh air when-

"Hello! Could you not hear me?"

A sudden voice from next to her said. The young girl clutched the front of her dark dress as she staggered back a few steps back trying to create some space between her and the boy with the familiar brown with a hint of gray eyes carrying a black umbrella.

"Almost had a heart attack" Cheryl choked out with some struggle. It was difficult getting her voice out after the shock he gave her
