About The Author & Notes

So yeah, just so you I'm the author Shaqilla

Shaw.

Allow me to tell you about myself before I

get into the details about the book.

As you can tell I'm not too fond of my first

name- too many cons come with that.

Plus I wanted something simple as there

are things, let me list my very own personal cons.....

Always misspelled even mispronounced

after telling someone a million times how

to.

Once wanted a keychain with the cute

color tag with the names on it which is a

cute trinket I usually see at the gas station,

of course-I thought good luck finding

one in your name... move along.

People won't stop saying Sheniqua or

Tequila one person actually said to me,

oh I just can't remember you I think you

were named after some type of drink

- oh yes you're Tequila right?

The embarrassment they wouldn't stop

saying that until my Senior Year.

Anyway here's a little about me brace yourself.

So with that being said here's what the story

My Dearest Rochelle is about.

It is about a wealthy African American family

who clearly have bitterness, conflict, and a whole lot of drama.

Rocha Rochelle the black sheep of the family,

is the child her father had outside of marriage

due to an affair.

Due to that her stepmother Viola, and

her half- sister Victoria give her a hard

time and with her mousy, gentle, drunken father Thomas, being of little help to stop

what goes on- life is tough.

However, things become more altered when Randal Davidson, who is Victoria's boyfriend decides to propose.

Rocha has never really met Randal only known

of him, but over time they befriend each other.

When Victoria catches wind of it her animosity

grows for Rocha..

Causing a huge rift between both of the sisters

as well as more drama amongst the family.

However, with Victoria's behavior becoming

unbearable, Randal becomes disenchanted

with her and what goes on will be a even

bigger scandal that this time no one can

cover up.

Rocha must choose to stay silent or tell the

truth to set her free....

Even if it means the family becoming estranged

forever.

So guys tell me what you think of the chapters

hard work was put into it as you can tell...
