YOUR SO-CALLED 'GOOD FILMS'

Camille walked into her room and held her head wondering if all of her actions had been right. After all, they were still young girls but she didn't know which elder to tell. Firstly, she would be breaking the promise between her and Meethi to keep the matter a secret,

Secondly, she didn't know who to trust that wouldn't get the matter to the police. Meethi didn't want to tell her parents but she didn't want to either.

She brought out her book as she remembered the call she'd received earlier,

Her parents were visiting her the next week Saturday.

And the party was this Saturday, that was tomorrow. She didn't want to go but she has no choice. She had 'collaborated' with Cynthia so she had to make it believable.

"Where is Siddharth?" Rani smiled as she asked the servant. It was supposed to be a charming one but the worker felt it was too scary. She quickly pointed to the study room and continued with her work.

'Am I that scary?' She questioned herself. Oh yes she knew she could be pissed at times but she was happy now. Really really happy.

She walked to the study in high spirits to bug her son. She overheard he was with a girl, to which she didn't know what to do.

"Hi Son,"

"Hello?"

"Is that how you're meant to reply?"

"How else do you want me to reply?"

"There was this film I watched about ghosts. The mother was trying to constantly talk to her son but he gave her a cold shoulder. At the end of the day, an aggrieved ghost killed him."

Siddharth almost rolled his eyes. He knew she'd come up with something like this, "Mom, you need to stop watching films with stupid plots. I can recommend you a few good films."

"What?! Are you insulting my specialty? The films I select are the best. And the day I tried to watch one of your so-called 'good films', I fell asleep on the chair and woke up the next day with neck pain," she complained bitterly.

Siddharth looked at her with pursed lips, his mother was over hyper today. Just what happened? Or did...

"Father called you?"

"I can't really hide it from you?"

Siddharth shook his head, "You can't because.., I am your son. I have to go, we have an assignment."

Rani smiled when she remembered something, "Hey wait wait..,"

But he was already gone. She wanted to ask of the girl but she knew he wouldn't give her a reasonable answer in the first place. She quickly regained her elegance and walked out of the study,

Way to go for a rich woman.

"Babe, the party is tomorrow. It's in your honour so you just have to say a few things," Cynthia talked with James.

"Just do the prep. I'm fine."

"Okay, let's go in," she replied when they reached the front of his room.

"Look I'm tired. I'll meet you later," he said and closed the door in her face.

She was angered, but she had no choice. She couldn't just break into his room like that. James was popular for being a Playboy and she knew she wasn't truly his girlfriend. Even his family never respected her or treated her like one of theirs.

Even the family of Jackson treated Love better. Well, she didn't care. In this world, only by doing some certain things can you get to the top. She was the one behind the incident with Meethi and she had evidence in her hands.

So of course they'd do what she says. One may call that blackmail but its the only way to keep people under your control.

And she's not so foolish to completely trust Camille. Although she knew Camille was still naïve and immature, the ability for her to manipulate will take greater heights in future.
