The University of Llaverhans is by far the best performing and most competent University in the country. It is the home of well-known professionals thus making it the dream university of every student. Not only that, supernatural creatures also finds this University a great place to blend in as its density will help decrease their chances of exposure.
The University had open its gate again for the new semester, It is the first day of class and every student in the freshmen class gathered in the gymnasium for the orientation. The gymnasium is in utter chaos as the officials were having a hard time organizing students with the seats. Unlike last year, the freshmen population was far larger and most of them are quite stubborn.
"Is this seat taken?"
A blond petite girl asked pointing to an empty seat beside the pale colored skin girl. They are in the far back of the gymnasium which is almost already occupied by students
"No."
The latter replied. The blonde girl smiles at the girl as she sits on the vacant seat. A typical stranger to stranger conversation ends with a silence, which is the case for the two as they wait for the program to start. The pale girl can't help but check on the girl beside her. Judging from how the girl is fidgeting her hands she thought that she's nervous it wouldn't be bad to help her relax by engaging into a conversation.
"Hi... I'm Davina."
The pale girl introduced, reaching out her hands to the blonde girl asking for a hand shake. It took a whole minute before the blonde girl shook the pale girl's hands.
"Hello, I'm Katrina.
"What program are you?"
Davina asked giving her best eye smile to look even more friendlier.
"I'm in Music and Arts, how about you?"
Katrina asked.
"Really? I'm in Music and Arts too!! It's good to have a friend with the same program as mine."
Davina stated making the latter girl raise her eyebrow.
"Friend? aren't you a bit too fast for that?"
"Yeah.... friend. Don't you want too?"
Davina leaned her head on the side acting cutely.
"Okay fine."
Katrina smiled and both shook their hands once again.
"Will I be able to hide my true identity from this human?"
Both of them thought as they exchanged their smiles to each other. Their attention shifted to the front after hearing a loud static noise that came from the front. Everyone who's inside the gymnasium startled.
"Oops, sorry that's my bad. Good day every one, I'm the freshman class dean, I'm Mr. Lim."
A tall middle-aged person whose in front introduced.
"For the next few hours, you guys are sticking with me and to the other special speakers for your university orientation."
Mr. Lim continued.
On the far left of the gymnasium, there's a guy dressed in an overused polo shirt and ripped jeans. He is the center of attraction for almost all students around him. They felt disgusted by how he's dressed and somehow question's his eligibility to enter the university. Despite everything, this guy kept his calm and only focused on the speakers that were giving their speeches.
"These people have their own problems and decides to vent it on me by judging how I look. Jungkook calm down."
The guy told himself.
After five hours of sitting and listening, the orientation has finally finished. Everyone was then instructed to go ahead and go to their respective classes for classroom orientation. Because of how the university is designed, everyone had a hard time to find their respective classrooms.
"Ughh, I can't believe that I'll be late in the first day."
A tall girl growled annoyed by her current situation. She inhaled and exhaled heavily to calm herself and went back searching for her classroom. As she turned to a corner, there she found the same room code written on her schedule slip. Therefore, finding her first class for the afternoon. If she hadn't continued and gave up, she would've missed the class entirely.
"I'm sorry miss, I had trouble finding this room."
She gave her apologies to the professor who was giving an orientation to the class.
"It's okay, have a seat miss?"
"Tzuyu"
The tall girl answered as she sat in the middle seat of the second row.
Meanwhile, Katrina and Davina sat next to each other after finding their first class. Not only that they had the same program, they also had the same class making it seems like it's fated and not a mere coincidence.
"So do you like music?"
Davina asked Katrina who seemed focused on something. She nudged her and repeated the question she asked.
"Ohh!! sorry, yes I do but not as much as I love arts."
Katrina smiled to her.
"Cool"
Davina thought.
"What is your favorite theme then?"
She asked.
"Nature, I love drawing and making paintings about the beautiful scenery seen in nature."
Katrina answered which Davina nodded as approval.
"What about you then? What kind of music do you like?"
Katrina asked.
"Hmm, I don't really know. I always think that everything that utters sound is music to me."
Davina confidently replied. Katrina nodded.
"Weird."
Katrina thought.
In the cafeteria...
Unlike the Freshmen, Sophomore students real classes immediately started even though it's still the first day. It's break time a pale girl with a long blonde hair was sitting alone on far corner table in the cafeteria.
"Sharron!!!"
A woman that resembles a hamster shouted from a distance. She's with another woman that resembles a racoon. Sharron ignored her call and pretended she doesn't know her as the feeling of embarrassment engulfs her.
"Sav, Why did you do that?"
She scolded Sav who sits in front of her.
"Why not?"
Sav squinted teasing her. They stood up from their seats and went to buy their lunch.
"Have you guys noticed any more supernatural in the campus?"
Moira asked the two as they went back to their table. After spending their first year in the University, they've spotted witches like them but haven't seen any other race.
"No, I haven't."
Sav answered sitting back on her chair.
"Let's not stress about it that much okay? Let's just finish our meal."
Sav said taking a bite on her sandwich.
While they're enjoying their lunch, they didn't knew that there are other supernatural creatures in the vicinity. Having their lunch or just stopping by for a snack or a drink.
"I really hate vegetables."
The guy puts down his fork and just drinks water from the water bottle he bought earlier.
"Brian Heli! Do you want to die?"
The woman in front of him said glaring with a kill intent.
"Joy, calm down. Do you care for me that much?"
Brian laughed.
"Eat up, we have classes in 30 minutes."
Joy said finishing her meal.
In a hallway somewhere in the university....
"Dang it, I'm 20 minutes late already. Nathan why did you slept, you said it was just a nap."
The guy told himself looking at his watch while running as fast as possible to reach his destination. He arrived on the classroom and he is lucky enough to know that their professor wasn't there yet.
"Geez, that was close."
He said wiping the sweat that built up on his forehead. He sat behind the most middle seat in the class.
"Dan, did our professor came already?"
He tapped the guy who's in front of him.
"No, not yet. You were lucky this time though."
Dan responded.
"I know right."
Nathan scratched his head as finally the professor came.
"Sorry class, the dean's office called so I was late."
Their professor apologized.
At the theater...
Despite being the best actor so far, the guy still humbled himself and attends classes to learn. Even though his trainer just asks him to show a scene or a script.
"Okay, Mr. Theodore, please show them how a lead should show convey the message of a line to the audience."
The trainer asked the guy which he naturally did. As he was performing the trainer called another person, this time it was a woman.
"Ms. Joanne, can you please show them the best movements to do when you're the female lead.
The woman also did what the trainer asked for. After that the trainer gave them a small break before returning to practice.
Joanne took her bottle and went to Theodore, they were in the same class for the third time and they were also partners on last year's theatrical drama which lead to them having a small friendship.
"Theo, it's still our first day yet we're already being trained already. The trainers and professors doesn't really joke around right?"
She asked. Theodore looked at her then nodded. Unsatisfied by his response he kept bugging him until he finally spoke.
"Why are you always bugging me?"
He asked completely annoyed by her playfulness.
"Because you're quiet."
She kept on teasing him for the rest of the break. He sighed in relief after their trainer gathered everyone for their next practice session.
At the locker hallway...
"Anne Cloelia , do you use your charm so you'll be in a class with me again?"
A guy asked in a calm voice. Anne's eyes widened as she can't believe what the guy just said.
"Hey Cody Quint, my charm is about love not cheat on numbers and papers."
She said hitting him which the Cody just ignored.
"Is that all you got? I'll just leave then you're just wasting my time. I'll just go to the next class, bye!!"
Cody said as he turned his back from the woman and started walking from her.
"Cody!!"
Anne called which he didn't listen to instead he raised his hand and wave a goodbye to her.
"I don't really understand this guy. He's the only Quint I know that is unpredictable."
Anne told herself pissed, she started walking to catch up with him.
