Chapter 53: San Francisco Starlight Facility

“Row D is clear now,” Willis wiped sweat from his brow.

Dallas frowned, “you’ve had to adjust half of these.”

“Over time things shift and get old. I still need to run a maintenance check before we do the shutdown. 4B and 5C might need a little TLC.”

“TLC?”

“Tender love and care, it's an older acronym but serves its purpose.”

“Got it.”

They moved onto row E, hitting the three hour mark. Willis started with the first one just as one of the doors cracked open. Both of them spotted Tucker and Landon making their way over.

Willis smiled, “I thought you’d all sleep the day away, what’d you do last night? Finish every game you have?”

Tucker glanced at Dallas who didn’t say anything before answering, “nah, we all were just bonding. Isn’t that what you were saying the other day?”

“Really? Where are the other two?”

“They’ll be by soon. What do you need from us?”

Umm, well I’m checking all of the generators right now, so I really just need Clint to start on his side.”
