Naa arrived at the address which Jarred had given which in turn turned out to be Samuel Oku. As Naa realized just where she was she was now curious as to what it was had happened here, making her way into the building she met some officers on their way out with many others searching around the place.

Naa made her way up the stairs and through some tape when she finally saw Jarred who motioned for her to enter a room. “Jarred what’s going on did Samuel finally slip up or…” Naa trailed off as she laid eyes on the bloody scene.

“What happened?” was the question Naa asked after a minute of silence, “he was tortured before being killed” Jarred spoke up. “I can see that what I want to know is why?” Naa turned to Jarred as she said this, “based on our people they weren’t torturing him for information it was more likely he was tortured as punishment for something and also to serve as an example” Jarred explained to his partner.

Naa moved to have a closer look at the body, looking closely she noticed the burn marks on a variety of places a closer look revealed numerous cuts on his body as the person responsible for this had cut of pieces of his flesh alongside various acts of torture. Naa was clear on one thing, when Samuel Oku finally died, he must have been relieved.

“What does this mean?” Naa pointed to a symbol which had been carved into the guy’s chest, “no clue but that is what makes us sure this was done as a warning” Naa grabbed her head after receiving her partner’s answer.

An assassin who almost killed majority of the one percenters, a vigilante killing off gangs in the streets and now this, something was going on in this city and what ever it was it was huge.

In a remote part of town, a limo was parked at the side of the road.

“The police have arrived at his place the relevant people should have received your message” The lady with the white mask spoke as she stared at the other man before her.

“What off the others? I refuse to believe that bastard acted alone” Ernest who sat before her spoke up as he moved his cigar away from his mouth puffing out a cloud of smoke. “The others are being taken care off but how would you like it? publicly or secretly?” The masked lady asked Ernest who took another huff of his cigar before speaking “dispose of them, also call a meeting It’s time we had a word with the board”

The next morning, newspapers were filled the death of Samuel Oku. Hank had a quick look before tossing the paper away as he headed to the tech department of the company, in a minute he had arrived before Ferdinand.

“Hey Ferdinand, I was wondering were you done with retrieving the data?” Hank called out to Ferdinand with a smile on his face. “sir, yes… I have it right… hold on, right here. I managed to retrieve all the transactions and files sir and stored it all on here” Ferdinand spoke as he handed over an external Hard drive to Hank.

Hank’s eyes widened for a moment in curiosity when he heard about the transactions but he quickly hid his look away. “Thanks Ferdinand, also could you keep this between us” “sure, of course, why not” Ferdinand quickly responded. Thanking Ferdinand, he turned to leave unaware, that Ferdinand had noticed everything but ignored it, telling himself that whatever was going on was none of his business.

Hank quickly made his way out of Thompson enterprises as he was in a hurry to have a look at what was on the hard disk. In his rush to return home he bumped into Ernest who was heading in for work. “Hank?” “Uncle” Hank responded as he quickly hid the Hard drive.

“What are you doing here?” Ernest questioned, confused as to why this nephew of his had decided to come to the office today. “I… came to see a friend” Hank quickly made an excuse, “oh” Ernest scrunched his brow as he wondered to himself just who this friend of Hank’s was.

“Yeah, his name is Ferdinand. We met at party and kind of hit it off so I just wanted to pop in and say hello.” Hank lied to his uncle so as to stop him from asking anymore questions. “okay?” “Okay, nice seeing you Uncle I’ll be going now” Hank made his way out of the building with Ernest standing watching his back wondering what was wrong with him.

But after a minute Ernest paid him no heed and headed up for his office
