Horror's of the past pt3

(A/N: sorry for my absence I had some things to attend to but I am back and hopefully I will be updating a few chapters every week from today onwards)

“There must be something we can do, right? Right? “, Ferdinand pressed and Hank snapped back, “I don’t okay! I truly don’t know! There is no escaping them” he ended in a whisper.

“But you did” “It was just pure luck” Hank moved away to put away his remining supplies. “Yes, but you still survived, and you escaped. So how did you do it?” Ferdinand pressed on moving before Hank to stand in his way. Hank simply stared at him with Ferdinand holding his gaze, “why?” “What?” “Why do you care so much about this guy, he’s not family. And even though you talk like close friends I can tell you haven’t seen or spoken to him in a while, have you?” Ferdinand remained silent as he heard those words.
