CHAPTER 6

I woke up late. I had an 8 am class and it was 7 am already. I managed to get ready before 8 with the assistance of Nike. She too had an early morning class. How great! We managed to enter the campus shuttle around 7.55am. I got to my lecture room by 8.05am and Nike sent me a text that she had gotten to class too. Thank God. I must have been lost in thought when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to see Apple. What was he doing here? He looked me in the eye and asked,

"Is this seat taken?"

I was dumbfounded seeing him in front of me. My heart was beating so fast. What... I felt someone hit my head then. I looked up to see Precious staring at me. Apparently it was Precious asking if the seat beside me was empty. Was I imagining things now?

"Ow. You can sit here gal. My head hurts."

Her hands were exceptionally strong when she hit someone.
