Melissa forgot to inform Matthew about it. But she couldn't care less. She is nervous. What had happened to her father that he needed her attendance immediately? 


After packing all her belongings, she didn't ask the servants or the butler in the mansion to give her a lift to her destination, they insisted of course, but she wouldn't let them. 


They insisted also, that she should wait for Matthew's consent before leaving. But, she couldn't wait for him to come home. Her father is waiting for her to return asap. Besides, Matthew is very busy taking care of his fiancee. How could she disturb him? 


Nonetheless, nothing is more important right now but her father. Melissa is afraid if her father have a heart attack again. That is why she's in a hurry to go to her father even without the proper consent of Matthew. Fortunately, they understood and promised to put a good word on him when he comes home.
