The slap of Dante is nothing compared to the pain she has endured upon learning her youngest daughter's illness and seeing her slowly dying in front of her eyes.
Out of desperation, Diana cried, slumped on the floor and groaned at the thought that her daughter might die anytime.
Diana does not care about Dante and Melissa's feelings. The only thing that she cares about now is her own gain and selfishness. Now the retribution for her sins is looming around. Yet, she is not daunted and still insisted to demand such obnoxious offer.
"If you don't want me to drag you outside, get out this instant, while I can still hold my temper, Diana." Dante roared. He didn't want to see Diana's face anymore. He might not be able to control himself and might harm her if she won't leave now.
On the contrary, Eric can't do anything because he understood why Melissa's father is so mad Diana. He help her stand and guide her aunt away from Dante.
